“Saturdat morning my dad and I had breakfast here and the croissant sandwich were great! The quality of the food and the owner made such a nice impression that we went back for lunch the next day (Sunday). We both had one of their roast beef sandwiches and were very happy with them. Great quality ingredients and large portions. I haven't been in during the lunch rush but our breakfast and lunch sandwiches were done in less than 10 minutes! I wish I knew about it sooner and I'll definitely be back! I love supporting our local businesses!

They have indoor seating and a couple of tables out front. There is parking right in front and a few spots on the north side of the building.

“Food was fantastic! Covid has hit all restaurants hard and La Stanza was new to Menlo Park opening in January 2020. The owner / chef has his Italian cuisine dialed. The cesar salad was dressed to perfection served on a chilled plate w/shavings of Parmigiano Reggiano.. Delish! My short rib ravioli special was exactly what I was hoping for. Hand made in house pasta baked to perfection. My wife had the sacchettto vegi pasta pocket stuffed w/vegis . The red sauce had tremendous flavor... and perfect to mop up with the bread. 🤪... This place is a must try!“

Until, we talked, I stopped ordering from Terun on principle. I was a frequent client. Takeout customers must be honored for requests that are gladly honored when in the dining room. Takeout customers should be thanked for not causing dirty tablecloths and dishes -- and LOYALTY. Jessica reinstated that loyalty. I truly hope that the owners appreciate her. “First of all, it's just fun to eat in an old bank that has retained the sensibility of the former occupant, while still making it acceptable to diners. The food is delicious and the service is outstanding. The only thing that fell a little bit for me was the Caesar salad salad, because it didn't quite have the taste that I was expecting. But the pasta and the fish that I had were great. The cappelini Pomodoro is special. The service is always outstanding. It's convenient to park and convenient to get to. Check it out.“

Our server was efficient and friendly as were all thee service personnel. The margerita pizza had crispy crust, fresh tasting tomato sauce and excellent flavor. Everything we had was delicious - the porchetta was one of the best sandwiches I’ve had. There isn’t a dedicated kids menu from what I saw, but they provided a high chair and most kids survive off fries, so we were fine. Parking is in a private lot and an easy walk from LPCH or Stanford shopping center. The weather was perfect for their patio dining, and staff were prompt to bring our food and clear tables.“

The stewed beef short ribs was delicious, but the polenta that came with it was particularly memorable as it was so creamy and buttery. Everything else (e.g., gnocchi with truffle sauce, salads, and tiramisu) was good as well.“

“Kasa has beautiful restaurants in the Bay Area with a heart. The decor is gorgeous with pretty details sprinkled around. For example the bench outside the Redwood City restaurant is so pretty and show cases the colors and designs of India. The food itself is very comforting. It is inspired by the recipes of the founder's grandmother and it is delicious. I love the chai there and love that they have a chai kit. They also have a location in Castro, San Francisco with its own unique decor and very friendly staff. Thank you Kasa for sharing your food and beauty with the Bay Area.“
