“This is my favorite booth at SAP when I go to Sharks games. You can see the arepas being grilled fresh and the fillings are so flavorful. The owners are very welcoming. I’m looking forward to the opening of their San Jose location since I haven’t been able to make it to Santa Cruz.“

“Tom’s Bright Eye Surprise is delicious! For vegetarian folks it’s great with a fried egg added as well. I had a meat-eater with me who said the It Ain’t Chicken Sandwich was delicious and that it tasted like chicken and had great texture. The crispy brussel sprouts were tasty too! I will definitely be back (and am trying the soft serve next time!). They have gluten-free breads for the sandos that look and taste like the gluten versions!

“Sampa served me the one of the best meals I’ve had so far this meal. It’s one of my favorite restaurants in the Bay Area and I would drive from San Jose to Santa Cruz just to get their muqueca.
Their muqueca is a wonderful coconut seafood stew served with farofa (toasted cassava) and I subbed rice for black beans. Their hot sauce is great as well. Every bite was delicious and I can’t wait to go back. Would also love to try the torta de frango (chicken pot pie) next time.“

“I can’t say enough good things about Brad, Linda, and staff. They are wonderful to be around and everyone really cares about the food. There is something on the menu for the vast majority of eaters. The garden on site is walkable and absolutely gorgeous. For food: beef cheeks, fried chicken, and any pasta you care for. Wine: a broad selection of interesting bottles Non-alcoholic: lemonade 😋“

“Gayle's Bakery has great food and service. I have been there more times then I can count and everytime it has been great. It can be difficult to find a place to sit and that's only because the place is that good.
Tonight my wife and I went for some food and desserts to take to go. We were helped by Brandon and he has great customer service, positive attitude and able to handle high volume of customers. I recommend going to Gayle's if you are in the area and wants some good food for anytime of the day.“

“My friend and I had breakfast at Evarits’s Comal this morning and it was FABULOUS! My veggie eggs Benedict was perfectly cooked, with one of the best hollandaise sauces I’ve ever tasted. The fruit accompaniment was delicious and fresh. Service was on point. I even got serenaded and served a yummy dessert when they found out it was my birthday. I wholly recommend this excellent restaurant!“

“Love Zachary‘s I get my vegan plate the tofu scramble by far. I think one of my most favorite. It’s also nice that they do offer dairy free butter for the bread and soy milk for the coffee. That’s a win for me.“

“The food here is amazing! It changes often. I've been a handful of times and loved everything (my wife loves it too!). If you're reading this, you should go here. It should absolutely have a Michelin star.
The dishes are unique, have interesting ingredients, and are always excellently prepared. The deserts are amazing as well.“

“As a vegan believe it or not I struggle to have variety in Santa Cruz, the options are limited. Today I visited this European interior (like a Scandinavian cafe) amazing eatery n downtown Santa Cruz. The man that assisted me was extremely hospitable and helped navigate the vegan menu he offered me. The falafel had incredibly bright flavors and not only the first few bites but all the way through. The mango matcha was too die for and you guessed it vegan as well. Please visit this impressive place whether vegan or not“

“Hidden gem! Be sure to do their 5-pounder burritos challenge, I thought it's either a typo or I was in Vegas. But it's a real thing, I was shock by the size of it (that's what she said), and If you can eat it in 10 mins then it's free!
Also shout out to Jonny what a great guy, 10/10 recommend this place“

“Hands down the best pizza I’ve ever had, period! It’s incredibly fresh, perfectly crafted, and the crust is exactly what you want—beyond crisp on the outside and perfectly fluffy on the inside. “This is our GO TO Thai place! While we haven't eaten in-house, we order pick up from them all the time. The food is DELICIOUS, always hot and fresh and flavorful. It's so clear the owners are passionate about providing quality meals, and every single time I order a vegetarian pad see ew, they always make sure to ask if egg is okay to include (while I'm not vegan, it's still a thoughtful question). Definitely get your Thai food from this restaurant, you won't be disappointed!“
