“Best restaurant experience I've had in a long time. Cute, small place with big charm!! Food: excellent! There were 8 of us and we all ordered different things. We loved everything! Service: excellent! From the time we walked in the door, we were treated like family. We will be back!!“
“Best Burmese restaurant in the Bay Area in my opinion. The restaurant is so clean and service is superb. Coconut chicken noodle soup had layers of flavors and the whole tilapia dish topped with green mango relish was just refreshing. Can’t wait till the next visit!“
“Seafood Curry with Lobster and Crab. Yummm. Chef Sonam always shows up and shows out! Laso has the best food in American Canyon... hands down! You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. I highly recommend that everyone go check this place out. You won't be disappointed.“
“Man! Dboys Grab & Go has to be one of the best takeout spots in the bay area. Don't get me wrong, it's just like any other establishment. Sometimes they're out of Salmon, the smoke ribs, other menu items, which can happen so, no biggie. Customer service is some of the best I've dealt with all year. Quality of the food is great too!“
“Ate here for the first time thanks to the great Yelp reviews! There's not that many spots in the mall that have decent food honestly, so I was looking forward to trying a different spot. It wasn't busy at all (lunch on a Thursday though) but the place was clean and efficient. I ordered a 49er roll and a spider roll, came out to just over 20 bucks with tax which is a pretty good deal for sushi. The rolls were excellent and a decent size. The soft shell crab was fried to order so it was crunchy which I love. No complaints here, I would go back again for yummy sushi at a decent price.“
“Solid brunch spot. Food was good, huge portions, and the option for bottomless mimosas. They have some good vegetarian options including an impossible patty. No reservations allowed, but you add your name to the check in list. Took about 30 minutes to get seated for a group of 4 (we arrived at 11am and were seated just after 11:30). We were seated in an outdoor tent that was a bit hot from the sun (no ventilation). Friendly servers and they were definitely busy. Were prompt on refilling mimosas though! Would return.Vegetarian options: Avocado salad was yummy. They also have egg and impossible pattysParking: Plenty of parking“
“Korean BBQ Plus in Concord is a haven for lovers of authentic Korean cuisine. Their bulgogi is a delectable blend of savory flavors, tender meat, and perfectly balanced marinade. The gal bi tang is a comforting delight, rich with hearty beef and aromatic spices. This place is a definite go-to for anyone craving comforting Korean food that hits all the right notes. With attentive service and a cozy ambiance, Korean BBQ Plus truly delivers a satisfying dining experience“
“I got the Cambodian noodle soup. It was awesomeness and reminded me of Vietnamese Hu Tieu. The shrimp was fresh with good texture. Not dry and chewy. Same with the other meats and a good way to get vitamin packed liver into your diet. No bitter and gamey taste. The sweet flavorful broth was great and even better once I added Sriracha. Exceptional proportions and noodle to meat ratio. I will try other items on the menu. Plenty of parking since the huge lot is theirs.“
“It’s a contemporary Japanese restaurant with an extensive menu. Decor is bright and cheery. Bonus points for big screens showing a winning Warriors game on the night we dined there! ? Personally I had the cheesy katsu on a sizzling hot plate which was quite a sight and tastes pretty good. My party had sushi and ramen which are ok but the broth is not complex flavor-wise. The draft beer in frosted mugs is refreshing and goes very well with the katsu. Service is friendly and lots of drink options from sake to soju to ramunes. Definitely something for everyone.Vegetarian options: There are options even for plant-based diets.Parking: Saw a couple of pay-per-use EV charging spots in the parking lot too. Probably J1772s.Kid-friendliness: Good menu options for kids and they provide little chopstick training widgets for a fun experience“
“We ordered the pad thai, seafood pad thai, banh mi, and panang curry. The curry is one of the best Ive tried, it was insanely good, very well seasoned without tasting like they just used a bunch of MSG. Its a large portion as well so easily shared between two people with some rice. The banh mi (pork) was also REALLY good, super tender and succulent meat in between fresh crunchy bread. Very fairly priced for how big the sandwich is as well. Now the pad thai was pretty good. Nothing special but not bad at all, you would never be disappointed ordering pad thai here. We did have an issue with our seafood pad thai, however. First, it didn't taste as well seasoned as our regular pad thai and, second, the squid tasted a bit off. We were displeased as the regular pad thai was really good so we expected this to be on par or even better (especially since the seafood version is marked up quite a bit) but we probably wont try that again. My reason for leaving this review though was their incredible customer service. When i brought our issue to the lady's attention we had ordered with, she immediately took care of us. Didn't question if "our taste was off" or anything weird. She was very kind had zero issue with making things right as some restaurants often due. My family and i cant wait to come back! P.S. don't let the "little hole in the wall" vibe fool you. Personally i dont care about aesthetic or ambiance, the food is what matters and this place is one of the best we've tried in contra costa.“
“Very delicious; especially enjoyed the wings with serranos and chiles de árbol.I lived in Korea for a year and sometimes you just get that craving; I like what this place is doing! Looking forward to trying other menu items.Very clean, and nice atmosphere, K-pop was playing. Gentleman at the counter had the nicest and warmest smile.“
“So glad they opened one out here in Vallejo to try out :) it is located in one of the busier plazas of Vallejo so traffic can be a bit of a concern around the parking lot. The inside is super small, the biggest table only has 4 seats, could possibly seat five. There isn't a lot of room inside really and it does get busy but not impossible to find a table to dine in! I would suggest possibly calling or checking in with a slight waiting time expectation! Otherwise, you could probably grab the food to go and eat outside or at a park nearby. Warm and busy vibes inside, perfect for an active lunch or dinner! The service was decent, food came out fast. The tables weren't really cleaned up too well so we had to wipe it down a little bit, and the staff usually is more casual so they probably will drop the food and leave you to your meal. I think the food always tastes pretty good across the multiple locations nearby. Personally my favorites include the soup dumplings and the molten lava buns! Their other common order foods are still really yummy though! Otherwise, would drop by if you're looking for good shareable food!“
“The food was excellent! I was with two of my counterparts as we were working in the area (I am from Florida, one counterpart from Las Vegas and the last from Visalia) and we had dumplings, kung pao chicken, sweet and sour pork, Mongolian beef with combination rice. It was absolutely fantastic! The service was incredible and we asked for absolutely nothing during our meal as it was taken care of before we even realized we needed it done.I highly recommend this location as you will not be disappointed.“
“The food and service is excellent. They have vibrant art on the walls and jazz music playing for the perfect ambiance. It's also family owned; these folks are absolutely sweet and kind. And it's clean and bright and spacious. A must if you like Thai food and a close-knit community“
“Been here multiple times and Aung MayLika never misses! Whenever I'm craving something homey and comforting, this is where I tend to gravitate. The food is just so flavorful! Some of my favorite dishes to order are the salt and pepper swai, the tea leaf salad, and the palatha with side of curry. Also, you can never go wrong with their Burmese milk tea. Service is usually quick and pleasant, even when they are packed with a full house. I usually dine-in for dinner, and they consistently satisfy my Burmese food cravings each time! They have a great selection of both meat and vegetarian dishes, soups, rice and noodle dishes, and some chef's specials, so there is definitely something for everyone! If you're a fan of Burmese food, I highly, highly recommend coming to Aung Maylika to get your fix! And if not, please try it out!“
