“I’m a sandwich (and Italian hoagie) aficionado, constantly seeking out the best. I actually have an entire category of sandwich shops and deli’s saved on my phone. I will drive (or more likely ride my motorcycle 2+ hours just to try a new place.

Take it from me: Lucia’s is a rare gem. Five stars. Terrific bread, thinly sliced meats and cheese, fresh produce, homemade spread: they had it all.

And LOTS of it. I knew as soon as I picked up the bag: huge, loaded sandwich. I couldn’t get my mouth wide enough to get the whole thing at once. Then, I could only eat half. I brought the other half home and my wife could only eat half of that half. I enjoyed the rest the next day.

I should’ve taken a picture but was too busy devouring the thing. I will definitely be back, and I will remember to take a picture then. It’s as good an excuse as any for a return visit. See you there.“

It's a quiet little place in a strip mall, and when the guy I was traveling with brought me up to it I definitely had second thoughts. But wow! The prosciutto and fig jam grilled cheese was fantastic, the staff was amazing, and the local is quirky, but clean.“

John’s hospitality was outstanding. He treated us with genuine kindness, patience, and care, making sure every detail of our order was perfect.

It wasn’t just about great customer service. John created an atmosphere that felt warm and personal. He checked in on us, made sure we had everything we needed, and took care of my entire family as if we were his own guests. “I was heading to the Pink Stallion out the end of Clayton road to drop off a big box of strap-on thingamabobs to the Lady's Auxiliary for their annual Gathering of She Bears, when I passed by the West Coast Sourdough Delicatessen. What luck! I whipped it on in faster than big Mabel Hatley in a sorority full of Georgia Peaches!

“Great deli / cafe attached to a catering business. Sandwiches are outstanding. Meat piled high and very fresh vegetables. Roll was soft and light, also.

The deli operation closes at 2:00 pm daily and is closed on weekends. But in-between that, you can get a great sandwich here .

They have housemade salads of all types, incl pasta etc. I didn't try them but will - they all looked great

And, it is one of the few places to sit down and eat around here that doesn't try to shake a tip out of you at the cash register before even trying the food.

“This particular Subway is very clean and efficient. I had two people in line in front of me with 2 employees behind the counter. From entrance to exit (with sandwich in hand ) was about 5 minutes. The price of Subway sandwiches have really gone up, but again, what hasn't? Just make sure you bring in a coupon and your footlong will be $7 and change (coupons do not include the specialty sandwiches). Great place for a quick (really quick in this case) bite to eat!“

“I whipped into the Sourdough & Company for an Amazing deli sando while coming back from the Glardhaven Auditorium way out there on the top of Kickinmeyers Ridge road where we listened to Pinkus McGee lecture on the do's and don'ts of poking sharp sticks at the Bison in Yellowstone park...he even showed everyone the scars where he was gored, all 8 of them.

The sandwich shop was clean, the people who work there were all wearing masks and gloves. Everyone was polite and kind. “Subway always has good food. The shop wasn't busy the day that I went and this employee actually gave me the extra mayo that I requested and was very attentive to what I was requesting. I ordered 4 sandwiches and she marked each one so we could tell them apart. Great job! This shop was located in Pacheco, the first time I had been there since the one we usually go to was closed.
