“Authentic and great food! We ordered the mango loco and Piña colada smoothie. Both are freshly made and delicious! The little store also sell packaged snacks which are less interesting though. The space also has two or three small tables if you want to enjoy the food right away. My only complaint is their opening time is very unpredictable. We returned the next day at 5 pm and only found that they closed at 4 pm already!”

“This place is so big and really clean for its size. I like how fast we get our food everytime we come for away games and how nice the staff is. I will definitely be coming back.

“We had a small reception for my daughter & son-in-law after their wedding. For our group, we chose the outdoor patio; we were not disappointed. From the time I began working with Horacio to the end of the evening, he was nothing but gracious. He answered every question no matter how small it might seem. Typically at these types of events there is a hiccup or two, not with Horacio and his team. Everything went off without a hitch. From making accommodations for a couple of guests to the thoughtfulness of making sure the bride and groom were well taken care of. Everyone thought the food was fantastic and the service was exceptional. If you are looking for a place to hold your event, look at Whiskey Creek. I would like to give a huge thank you to Horacio and his team. You all were phenomenal, I can’t tell you how impressed I was with everything.”

“My wife and I got excellent sandwiches here for a picnic up in South Lake. The wonderful gentleman who made them was very helpful and friendly, and made our outing even more enjoyable.

We highly recommend Bronco's Deli; avoid the tourist trap of Shatt's deli, and come here for the best lunch in town!”

“I can't say enough good things about Miller & Sons BBQ. The food is fantastic, plentiful and they were so easy to work with. We held a big event at the Rock Creek Lake Group Campsite and opted to have it catered, instead of having everyone make their own camp meals. We were able to pick up the food right across the street at Rock Creek Resort. I got SO many compliments on the food. Pretty much everyone went back to seconds. We did the brisket, rips, chicken, mac & cheese and beans and it was all delicious. I'd recommend it all. And their homemade BBQ sauce! To die for. Be sure to stop by for breakfast or lunch when you're adventuring at Rock Creek or order their catering for family get togethers and bigger events.”

“Had their AYCE sushi and it was great. Very reasonable pricing, amazing service from the wait staff, reasonable wait times. I hope the AYCE selection increases a bit, but I also understand their location and size may hamper that. Overall was very happy with this place all things considered.

Had the Ohno roll and Destroyah roll and very happy with both. Takoyaki, gyoza and chicken karaage was pretty good well. On the ramen I would skip the spicy chili, it's a little too much burn and not enough flavor. The marinated eggs were amazing, and noodles and broth were pretty good too.”

“I have been waiting until this El Pollo Loco had the posole. Tonight they did! This location serves some of the best food ever! I also got the tamale bowl! Super legit! I have been in the restaurant business all my life. I don’t expect much when I drive through. This place blows me away every single time! Congratulations guys! “Seriously the best smoked tri tip I have ever eaten, and we make a point of trying different BBQs all across the country. Tender, super juicy, and oh so flavorful- it didn’t need any sauce, which they thoughtfully serve on the side. The coleslaw was also excellent, crisp and fresh tasting, not drowning in sauce and overly sweet. Cornbread was super too! All in all would highly recommend and will definitely stop again next time through. Oh and service was with a smile, helpful and informative!”

We didnt go again for at least another year and this time was so good. Exactly what I was looking for and the salad bar was a true gem. Nobody else has a salad bar and all the ingredients were fresh. Very glad we went and tried again.”

“Not many option for great food in Bishop but this place stands out as one of my favorites. Growing up in a cosmopolitan city on the west coast this place can hold a candle to any Thai place I have ever been to. The Pad Thai is perfect, great flavor and not all soggy with sauce, the curries are amazing and I am usually not one to sing about a rice dish but the Thai Spicy Fried Rice is the best. The flavors that come out of this place across the board are well worth experiencing even if your palate is well seasoned. An Eastside gem, thanks for being here!!!”
