“HOLY MOLY! i just recently got into liking apple fritters and decided to try this place out. thus far i’ve had 5 different fritters throughout san diego (i’m here right now visiting my bf) and so far this one has been the best!

this fritter had an amazing amount of cinnamon, apples, and glaze. the crispy yet softness texture was perfect, the edges are definitely my favorite.

my bf got a chocolate glaze and it was pillowy soft and super good, (this is coming from someone who doesn’t like chocolate all that much.)

the lady who gave us the donuts threw in a couple of donut holes and those were amazing too. i cannot put enough emphasis on how fresh everything here was!

if i want an apple fritter from here on out i’m definitely coming here cause the times i’ve tried new places since this one have just left me thinking about this fritter. i hope when the time i get another fritter comes it was as good as the one i had this time, though i’m aware that things can change depending on the batch!“

“Love this place! I went to this donut shop 30 minutes before closing and they had a large variety of donuts to pick from, and most importantly they were fresh and tasted delicious. Their donuts have a very unique and comforting taste, I don’t know how to explain it, but you have to try them. In my eyes, the donuts weren’t as big as the other reviews claimed, but they were a good size to say the least. I was pleasantly surprised that a dozen donuts is only $15?!?!! I’ve been going to Yum Yum donuts and I pay $25 for a dozen donuts that are stale, hard, and they often don’t have much variety by the end of the day. I’ve gone to other mom and pop shops and their donuts have also been stale on several occasions, so I was really hoping they wouldn’t be stale, but this place really surpassed my expectations all around. I needed to pick up 5 dozen donuts for my team at work, and since I was heading in early, I placed the order a couple of days ahead. “Just a hole in the wall donut shop offering traditional tasty donuts. I have to say with everyone describing the dough as fluffy.... they are spot on. There's something about it that's so soft and almost has the melt in your mouth feeling.
We ordered an old fashioned glazed and chocolate, as well as a chocolate twist. The gentleman that helped us was so nice and helpful. He gave us 2 donut holes for each of pur orders. It may not seem like much but this is a nice gesture for any guest.

My husband ordered the iced mocha coffee, he said it was ok. I ordered a hot coffee with cream. I have to say that the coffee was bold and good. I didn't expect that.

Definitely will be back for the good donuts and good prices!

Make sure Lin is the one behind the counter though. I've been back several times for the sandwich and there's another lady that works sometimes who makes them completely different and not as well.Lin takes what I assume is a croissant they make there, toasts it up and makes you two fresh eggs to put on top of it. You can get cheese, ham, bacon etc as well. I usually opt for the number four which is ham, bacon and cheese. It's amazing. Highly recommend this place. “It's a small shop with very tasty mochi [rice] flour doughnuts and teas to add boba or jelly to for washing down the doughnuts! When I visited I wanted to try the grass jelly, but it had run out. There was a bit of confusion for a while about that and despite being the only one there until a young lady came by, I waited quite a bit for my order which I had to change a bit. I was surprised I got my doughnut and drink after that young lady because it didn't seem like she ordered online.
