The food is incredibly authentic and packed with rich, traditional flavors that remind you of homemade Indian cooking. If you enjoy spicy and flavorful curries, this is the place to visit. Every dish is prepared with care and tastes fresh and delicious.

One of the highlights of my visit was their amazing fruit custard—easily one of the best I’ve ever had! The restaurant also serves excellent chaat items and pani puri in the evenings, making it a perfect spot for anyone craving authentic Indian street food.

A special shout-out to Jonas, who is truly a superstar! His customer service is exceptional—friendly, attentive, and always willing to go the extra mile to make guests feel welcome. Outstanding team members like Jonas make the dining experience even more memorable.

The food was outstanding. The dosas were fresh, crispy, and generously filled, while the chutneys and sambar tasted authentic and full of flavor. You can tell that a lot of care goes into maintaining traditional South Indian recipes while still making the menu approachable for everyone.

What impressed us most was finding such authentic South Indian food right in downtown Oakland.
