“First time in my and my family life we are here in San Francisco! After we landed we visited this place ( outside we were a bit suspicious it's not open ) but! Been open so we went in and we had a great welcome by the staff. Ordered a food and drink and both were quick and tasty ? ( never tried the buffalo sauce - got a bit examples first). The place has a pool table and shuffle board ( if I'm not mistaken) - both games were great with my son! We will be back here for sure!“

We started with a couple of appetizers that set the tone right away: bold, fresh, and packed with unique flavor combinations. The pork ribs were a total standout — perfectly tender with just the right balance of sweet and savory, and the fried rice that came with them was rich, flavorful, and satisfying on its own.
But the real star of the night was dessert — the Baked Hawaii. Not only was it beautifully presented, but it was also hands down one of the best desserts we’ve ever had. A creative twist on a classic, and the perfect ending to a fantastic meal.

I love Smuggler’s Cove’s cocktail book but don’t always have all the necessary ingredients at home, so was glad to be able to experience the recipes where they can be properly executed.“

“I always go to the pub crawl on Halloween. It's fun there are lots of arcade style games, and it's not that crowed, worth the visit. They could offer jelly shots of different flavors, though. I really don't like the lime ones. They were serving Mexican store-bought style food there, I don't know if they serve this on a daily basis. I didn't taste it but my friends liked it. They were drunk and hungry, so I think everything is delicious in that state.“

“Was strolling the Ave and walked passed this place. I did peak in as I walked by but thought "ooh pretty dead for a Friday". Something told me swing back and head in. I took a seat at the bar where there were already 2 seperate groups on away from each other. A cool chill lad approach me and made me feel welcome and handed the bar menú. I glanced and opted for the Áloe Margarita which was light, fresh and much needed.

After leaving me drink, the nice lad told me his name Danny and saw he already had a lot of kudos on the reviews. Def recommend this place.“

“This was a lovely last minute date spot before a movie! We were able to get seating right away, and the service was spectacular. We ordered two of the pasta dishes and a glass of wine - all of it exceeded our expectations, and we were disappointed to have to rush out of there so quickly to catch the movie. It also seems like a great spot to go with a group - plenty of seating and no wait. The owner was lovely, we look forward to going back soon to explore more of their wine menu!“

“We were there in the early evening. Meet the owner and his wife. They were so welcoming and friendly it felt like home. Our whole party enjoyed beer, cocktails, and fantastic rock posters. Sully told us about the SF Elk's Lodge, and since we had a member in the group, we visited there the next day. Guess what? Sully was there that day, too. “Last night my friends had a table at a nearby (not to be named) bar that would not let me bring my backpack in.

So I go to bamboo hut and ask if they’ll hold it.

They at first say no (I don’t blame them, I wasn’t buying anything and it was a busy Friday night)

Out of desperation I offered to pay them $100 to hold it

The woman goes to talk to the manager / owner, who comes up and says they’ll hold it.

Then they refused my money. Both of them.

It was a kind, simple interaction that really made the night of a stranger (me).

“My experience here at Bar TZA was amazing. The customer service was great from the start, got greeted by the owner himself. The drinks were so good and the amount of alcohol they put is not overpowering. The watermelon margarita (chefs kiss). The food we ordered the sliders, the tacos dorados and THE WINGS, BOMB!!!!! Later on during the night they opened the dance floor the music was great. (I forgot my phone at home and I was having so much fun that I even forgot about my phone) so overall experience was great.. if you’re looking for something casual good food drinks and music. Good:
- The open face sandwich was so good! I liked how the dish was like a take on an avocado toast, but with a lot more flavor
- Food came out quickly
- The kale salad with chicken was so good - the chicken was tender and crunchy
- Nice staff who checked in on us pretty often
- Nice place for a birthday party

Bad:
- It is pretty expensive overall!

“omg the food and drinks -- this Foodie has visited 4 times so far... (yes, it's that good) Small menu but super tasty! Stand outs include Treasury Pigs in Blanket, Ahi Tuna Poke, Chicken sandwich, The Burger, and that Fish sandwich!! (fantastic). Admittedly suprised at the tab after 3 rounds of libations (sooo good) -- but the drinks were strong and worthy. Love the chill vibe. Beautiful space, comfy lounge seating. Perfect for FiDi in the historic SF Treasury Building (check out the tin ceiling.) Highly recommend!“
