“We had been so looking forward to experiencing Mrs. Knott's Kitchen and her legendary fried chicken & boysenberry pie. We visited Knott's Berry Farm frequently, as children growing up in Anaheim, but never were able to enjoy a dinner there. Today was the day! We feel that more can be done to reinforce the legacy Mrs Knott left behind, and that this should be a priority because most people who come there are expecting to be delighted. Our expectations were for the entire experience to feel like a warm hug. Our server in the bar was kind and polite and did a great job. The welcome at check in was perfunctory, not homey. Given we had reservations (well in advance) and the place was empty, a choice of sitting in the dining room would have been nice. We expected the food to be legendary; rather, it was adequate. While the fried chicken was juicy enough, the skin was under-seasoned and a bit dried out. The pie seemed as though it may have been previously frozen. A bigger investment in time and energy to stand back and look objectively at the experience being delivered could pay huge dividends if more passion was brought to the table. Do it for Mrs. Knott!“

“Be sure to make a reservation, or else you will be waiting a long time to be seated depending on the time of day. It's been years since we've dinned here, and it's still The BEST fried chicken around. Our table had the fried chicken, chicken pot pie, chicken dumpling, everything was AMAZING, the fried chicken was not greasy at all, the pot pie was a little dry, however I was given extra gravy/sauce to use, delish! The boysenberry salad dressing is incredible, everything was yummy! Lots of food, plenty to take home. Our tummy's were full. Overall the food is absolutely delicious. The hostess and staff, and of course our waitress were all very kind and very attentive. Will definitely go back :)“

“Amazing fried chicken“

“I have noticed that this particular Chick-Fil-a has relaxed on some quality. The last several times I’ve ordered breakfast the biscuits have been stale. It’s like they don’t care about the quality of their food anymore. The staff is nice but almost too stiff as if they have it made they don’t need you.

So the only thing I can really say is yes they are courteous.
I just feel that they don’t care about the quality of the biscuits anymore.“

“Out of all the Pelicana spots I’ve tried, the one at The Source OC is definitely a favorite. We got there around 5 PM on a weekend and didn’t have to wait at all, which was nice. Our food came out pretty quickly too.

We ordered the combo set for three people- boneless half & half chicken, cheese balls, sweet potato fries, and tteokbokki. I honestly didn’t expect much from the tteokbokki, but it was way better than I thought! Just a heads up though, it might be a little too spicy for some people- proceed with caution!

The music was a little on the louder side, but still good enough for a conversation. Overall, a great spot to hang out with friends or family!“
