My daughter and I shared the chicken and beef combo plate and still had quite a bit to take home with us. Food has really good flavor and the owner was so nice. “As a Persian American, I am so glad I found this place. It offers something I’ve been wishing for my whole life, modernized Persian food. Traditional is unbeatable, but I’ve always wondered what it would be like if people took those recipes and updated them. Azizam offers that. I came specially for the kuku sandwich and it was excellent, simple and very fresh. Same with the shallot yoghurt and Kipteh. We also tried the secanjaben spritz which if you like those flavors you will love. I really love this whole concept and would love to see more dishes! The ambience is friendly and warm. Highly recommend.“

“I definitely like it here and will return for sure however there are notes based on the two times I've tried the food here:The little fried cakey desserts they have up on the front are very good. Love those.Their sandwiches are one of the better ones I've had from cafés on foothill. They come in soft sandwich baguettes and they're a bit toasted.First time I got:Persian Makhloot Pizza 8/10Hot dog 10/10Cheesy chips 9/10FriesTotalling $66Second time I got:Persian Makhloot 7/10Beef shawarma sandwich 9/10House salad 8/10FriesAnd a SpriteTotalling $63So their pizza is DELICIOUS but I believe they still haven't figured out their oven's temperature because last time the pizza and cheesy chips were overcooked (dried brown mozzarella) and second time I asked them to not let it crisp to that point and they were kind enough to do that but then the center of the crust ended up being uncooked and the bottom of it was stuck to the paper underneath so we ended up having to peel paper pieces from the slices before eating them which was alright but not fun.I have half of it left over so ill warm it up and hopefully it'll fully cook.Fries were unsalted/unseasoned. Had to add that myself.The salad was pretty fresh and a good portion. I could not finish it all in one setting. It did lack flavor and the dressing is just Thousand Island. I added things to it and it turned out amazing. I think something as simple as adding parsley or sprinkling dried oregano on it will go a long wayI really hope they figure out the pizza situation because 1- it's not cheap food so for the price it should be cooked properly and 2- it very much has potential to be perfect.“

“This place is a mom and pop restaurant, and the owner is a wonderful charming man who makes the best sandwiches. The food is clean and very delicious. The fries and fry dip, cheeseburger, mushroom cheeseburger, the olivier salad, and homemade pomegranate juice are must haves. In this age of low quality fast food, these places are rare gems. The food takes time to prepare, but quality takes time.“

“We decided to give them a try and were absolutely delighted by their service and quality of food. They took our order just before their closing and we picked up the order in 25 minutes. We ordered chicken koobideh, chicken thigh, and beef koobideh wraps (fries on the side) and they all were extremely delicious with generous portions. They also have ready to go food and their cucumber yogurt and olivieh salad were very good and tasty. We'll be back for sure. Thank you to the team at Aiden's. Sogol's plate is a great business run by great women and I would definitely recommend their to-go orders for busy students as the ordering and pick-up process were super easy. “First time coming here and the food was fantastic. I honestly can’t wait to try their other offerings. Located on the east side of Glendale Ave, just north of the freeway. Small parking lot, but street parking is also available. Outdoor seating is also available. The lamb shank was calling to me and I absolutely enjoyed every bite. Substituted for a different rice as well.“

“I'm at a loss for words, but I'll try my best. Food? Amazing! Perfect amount of seasoning and the portions are huge! And this is coming from a big dude. For the appetizers, my favorites were the Kashk E'bademjan (Eggplant Delight), Potato Salad, and the Hummus! They have more selections, but this is what I was able to try. I hear all are great! For the Entrees, ALL OF THEIR KABOBS ARE FIRE (MMM MMMM YUMMY). I had a sample of most them and in the islands, we would say "broke da mouf kine", which translates to, the food is *beep beep* GOOD! If you've never had Persian Food, or you love it, this is the restaurant for you! Drinks? I love Korean Soju and Cass beer, so yeah, +10 points from me. They do carry various Wines and Beers though...and of course your choice of Soda Pop. Atmosphere? It' gives you a Kewl Kids Vibe; a classy place where you can be yourself with family and friends and just enjoy each others company. You have your choice of Indoor and Outdoor dinning which is amazing. There's also a private room upstairs that can hold 20 people for a meal and karaoke (there is a fee to reserve, but very much worth it). Staff? We were greeted at the door as if we were coming home. Pasha and his staff go above and beyond to make sure all your needs are met. Their suggestions on meal and drink pairings are spot on. I can't thank Pasha and the crew for making our group outing a success. Overall? I'll be going back and I hope that you add this restaurant to your list of 'go to' places to dine at. You will not be disappointed, I promise you. (Unless your attitude stinks or you're not willing to try new food ‍) Pasha again, thank you so much for the hospitality. “Taste of Tehran was my first time eating at a restaurant in Tehrangeles, and it was an awesome choice. This was definitely one of the best Middle Eastern restaurants I've been to in LA. Everything was so great. And yes, I ate a lot of food on the first day here. I started off with some of the stews that included gormeh sabzi, the gheyme, and ash reshteh, which were all very tasty. The surprise hit to me was the Lentil Quinoa Salad. Seriously, one of the best salads I've ever had. It was sweet, refreshing, and savory all at the same time. No words to describe. And then the meats: the koobideh and soltani plate, just fabulous, along with that lentil rice. I can honestly say that Persians make the best rice out of all Middle Eastern countries! Even the barberry rice was amazing. Never had a rice this sweet and fruity before! Overall, an amazing experience. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Don't be fooled by the looks of this place. It looks like a quick, over the counter order type of restaurant, but the food is top notch. Even Anthony Bourdain has been here! “Holy Moly! Really good charcoal-fired kebabs at a really good value. This Mom and Pop place is clean, welcoming and offers high-quality food. The steak kebab was amazingly tender and flavorful and the Spicy Chicken breast and regular Chicken breast kebabs were equally delicious. We ordered the platter which includes perfectly prepared rice, creamy hummus, lavash bread, and a large green bbq’d pepper and tomato. The kebabs and vegetables are cooked over a charcoal fire, which adds to the wonderful flavor. The owners are personal and friendly and have pride in their business. The restaurant is located in a small center and not visible from the road. There are a few tables, but it is primarily take-out orders. I will definitely be back to try the Lula kebabs and the red bean salad.

“The owner is one of a kind, not only is the food the best quality and Persian cuisine in westwood, but the owners attentiveness to detail is also extraordinary. The workers and owner have never missed a detail in any of my orders while always being diligent regarding the timing of my take out orders. My favorite is the sangak pizza and juicy chicken kabob. Can’t go wrong with those. I only do take out so I’ve never dined in but the sauces they offer for the salad and pizza are also great. Definitely try them out for your next dine in or takeout experience.

Also, the owner waited for me to pick up my order after closing time since I was running late. Really the best.“

“Have you ever entered a business and immediately feel like you just walked into your home where family is waiting to greet you? That was the very feeling I had when I stopped by the NoHo Cafe today. I knew the food was good as I used the delivery service before. Today I decided to visit the Cafe and I promise I’ll continue going frequently. The food is delicious but what won me over was the welcome and love you experience when you walk in the door. The staff is amazing... the Cafe has a very “welcome home” atmosphere. The complimentary cup of soup is AWESOME. I sat at a corner table allowing me to do what I love...watch people. As I enjoyed my delicious first meal of 2020 I watched as every person who entered was treated with care and joy. Just like being home the staff will keep checking to see if the food is ok and if you need anything. The NoHo Cafe is a place I recommend to anyone wishing to enjoy a good meal and to experience a “welcome home” feeling. “The wine bar you wish you could stumble upon every night! Great Persian food- you can tell they use fresh farmers market produce. And arguably the best natural wine list in town. This spot is a real gem. Get the Nazkhatoun (eggplant dip) w/ feta, Ghormeh Sabzi or the Fesenjan - both delicious stews. And their tarts for dessert are excellent.

“Dear Nerses vanak, I don't want to give a bad rating. Maybe it was a one-time fluke. So let me explain, I have been ordering the koodideh for two years, It was great, especially the taftan bread. The last time I ordered it, the kebab had shrunk, and the meat wasn't the same quality. The taftan was smaller and doughy around the corner, and the middle was paper thin. I know the cost of doing business has gone up last few years, but to compensate for it by sending out a meal like that will only cost lost business.“
