“Gonna give it 4 stars because while the aburasoba is good I'd like them to make mazesoba too, which has more complex ingredients, preparation, and flavor. Mogomogu in Sawtelle, LA sets the benchmark for great mazesoba on the west coast.“

“Loved our experience here! The food was fantastic and the service was top-notch.
* Food: The ramen is delicious and packed with flavor. We got the veggie and curry ramen and would recommend both. Great to see clear vegetarian and vegan options available.
* Ordering & Service: You order from a tablet at your table, which is convenient and lets you customize your bowl extensively. The staff is very friendly and our food came out fast. A nice perk is the free hot tea and water you can add to your order.
* Price: It's pretty standard for prices these days. You're paying for high-quality ingredients and a great meal.
Definitely recommend giving them a try!“

“My favorite ramen place in the Bay! Great environment and food quality. The service could be a bit improved as they often forgot about following up on minor requests or forgetting to refill our water. I understand that’s it’s busy because it’s so delicious, but there were 30+ staff on duty.“

“I'm obsessed with Ramen Dojo! Being just 15 minutes from my place, I finally took the plunge and tried it after months of recommendations.
The service is great, and the Ramen is AMAZING! I've tried 4 different plates, and each one is a favorite. I'm hooked now - definitely worth checking out!“

“Ramen Parlor has been one of my longtime go-to spots in San Mateo — especially for their lobster miso ramen, which I’ve been ordering for years. The flavors are still solid and the broth has that rich seafood depth that makes it stand out from other ramen shops.
That said, I do feel like the dish was better a few years ago — the broth had more complexity and the overall presentation felt a bit more refined back then. It’s still good, just not quite the same standout it once was.
Service is friendly and the atmosphere is casual and welcoming. Definitely worth a visit if you’re craving something different from the usual tonkotsu or shoyu ramen — especially if you haven’t tried their lobster miso bowl before.“

“Waited approximately one hour to be seated. Spoiker: it was well worth that wait. I ordered the tonkatsu ramen and pork buns. I can't decide which part was better, the noodles or the broth! The pork buns were priced just right at $8 for 2. Some of the best I've had. You are all so lucky to have such a wonderful ramen bar in your community. I am from Maine and will be sure to stop by this establishment every chance I get once I am in town.“

“We’re local and were looking for a spot with both vegan and non vegan options to have brunch when we stumbled upon Quail and Crane. We were initially bummed to discover at noon on a Saturday that there was no brunch, and breakfast ends at 11, but we were so impressed and delighted by the lunch options that we will definitely be back. It’s so hard to find vegan eggs, and I was able to get them on the incredible vegan fried rice dish, which I was thrilled about! And my partner loved his wings and spam fried rice. Service was excellent, ambiance was stunning, highly recommend.“

“This place hits different, everything was so good. Couldn’t even name anything that wasn’t good. Loved the ribeye, pork belly and vermicelli with scallop. Had to order it again, just that good. Nice service and atmosphere, very nice music taste too!“

“I love the ramen, the only thing is that I was expecting a softer yolk in the egg, but i got a hard boiled instead, they overcooked the egg, but its okay...“
“Located near Luckys and Lowes, this is a neighborhood hole in the wall. It’s not an Ichi Ramen (shown in the front of the restaurant) as they just never spent the money to replace the sign. Being said this place gets packed fast especially on weekends. It’s a great spot for rice porridge and other Cantonese comfort food. Guess don’t judge the book by its cover 😉Tried the pork rice congee (hope I spelled that right) and the beef stew clay pot with both the regular and sweet Chinese doughnut. Enjoyed the tender pork and thick porridge. Beef stew was also very tender and savory 😋 I say check it out.“

“I was seated right away during lunch time and it wasn't too busy. My favorite and reason for my visit was to have the torikawa (chicken skin skewers) I also had the Bento with the shrimp tempura and shioyaki salmon. Everything was delicious 😋 I almost forgot to take photos as I was hungry lol... price was also reasonable.“

“Cute and cozy restaurant with a picturesque Japanese inn-like aesthetic. Great fish quality and friendly, efficient service. Very pricey - went with my husband and ordered 2 rolls between us, along with some unagi and the bill was over $100. I could see this being a nice date night place, given the ambience and the cocktail menu looked promising as well. For us, the price to quality ratio wasn't as worth it for more regular dinner nights out (for that, we recommend Akami Sushi just a few min away!)“

“Noodleosophy is local Bay Area chain focusing on hand-pulled noodle dishes, and this location in particular can be found in Millbrae's Social Eatery food hall. As part of Social Eatery, patrons can take a seat within the food hall, place their orders on the provided tablet, and a staff member will bring the food an beverages straight to your table.
We decided to get their beef tendon noodle soup and selected the biang biang noodles (you're able to customize the dish to your liking with whatever noodle option you prefer). We also got a side of their pork and shrimp dumplings, because who doesn't love dumplings?
The beef tendon noodle soup was rich and flavorful, while the accompanying noodles were perfectly cooked and chewy - providing a great mouth feel to the dish. The dumplings were delicious as well, and were a nice addition to the meal as a whole.
If you're ever in the Millbrae area and want a one-stop shop for all your dining and beverage needs, then Social Eatery is definitely the place to go and be sure to enjoy some delicious hand-pulled noodles from Noodleosophy while you're at it!“

“I have never written a public review for a restaurant before but the ramen here is absolutely incredible. Much better than Japan town in SF. I only wish more of this store is around. Parking is better than Japan town, flavor is incredible. Highly recommend!!“

“On the cheaper side for food, and it's amazing. Haven't tried their ramen but tonkatsu curry is great.Takoyaki is more on the soft side, and karaage isn't crispy— but good. It's a different style— liking it would be preference.“
