“The server went above and beyond to help my daughter with her order. She was a bit hangry and overwhelmed by the options, so our server took a little extra time to offer a helpful solution that worked great for us. The food was also delicious. The broth of the vegetarian was one of the best I have had and really liked the Brussels sprouts, which was a new ingredient for me.“

“Nice place to eat, I only give the food 4 stars because the little differences in their rolls compares to others I've had with the same name just wasn't really for me. I ate them and enjoyed them as best I could and had no issues with them just not the best I've tried of rolls with that name.“

“Excellent spicy miso broth, not too spicy, but enough to warm you up by the end of the bowl. There are a lot of options including half noodles.“

“This small and cozy restaurant offers a greasy service, but their chain of restaurants is renowned for their delicious Ramen. We started with chicken karagee, which was filled with cheese ramen, chicken ramen, house ramen, and spicy pork bowl. The food arrived quickly, within a few minutes. The chicken starter was good, with tender meat. The chicken ramen was perfectly balanced with spices, creating a flavorful bowl of food. I also tried the spicy pork bowl, which was interesting and enjoyable. To finish our meal, we had green tea softie and matcha latte float. Both were delicious and I thoroughly enjoyed them. Overall, we had a great experience at this restaurant.“

“I like the quality of their ramen. The portion, the thickness of the char siew and the onsen egg, delicious! If i can suggest one thing, it will the hotness of the soup. They have to serve it piping hot and it will be bring heaven to earth. We ate there today and the soup is just warm.. so maybe next time i visit here i hope they will make it more hot. Thanks!“

“We recently visited Marufuku Ramen in Redwood for lunch. The service was really good and so was atmosphere. We were little disappointed by the Ramen, but curry rice was tasty and the veggies served were cooked to perfection.
Ringo(Apple drink): 5/5
Yuzhu(Yuzhu deink): 4/5
vegetarian ( have had better Ramen in Bay area)
Vegetable Curry rice: 5/5 ( one of the best in bay area, easily comparably to what is served in Japan)
I would still suggest to give this place a visit, And maybe try one of the other Ramen.“

“We had the spicy chicken miso ramen — the noodles were cooked well and the broth was enjoyable, though it used to taste better before. Even the extra spicy level wasn’t very spicy.
The vegan ramen was disappointing. It used to be really flavorful, but now it tastes bland and lacks depth.“

“This place is one of the most underrated restaurants ever in the bay. The udon noodles are a little pricey and the menu doesn't have much variety but the food is one of a kind. Their udon is the best I've had anywhere in the city and is on the same level as those restaurants in Japan.“

“This was nothing short of incredible. The takoyaki was better than any I've had in Japan. The rolls have real crab. The chirashi bowl was packed full of the most delicious cuts of fish. I will definitely be back to try more of the special rolls!“

“I almost never give five stars because there will be someplace better. This place will be tough to beat. Friendly staff, great atmosphere, but above all, great food. Extremely fast service. Generous menu with lots to choose from including numerous sakes. Highly recommended for a sushi lover.“

“Wadaya hasn't left my mind yet. I love that the noodles are thicker than Kajiken. It makes for a chewier bite which I prefer. I'd say the taste is similar to Kajiken but maybe the flavor at Kajiken is a bit better. I definitely like the noodles here more. The absolute star of the show is the tiny scoop of rice they give you at the end to mix in with your extra sauce. I wasn't a believer at first until I actually tried it. Best bite ever. Holy.“

“New restaurant in what used to be a great hole in the wall breakfast spot. Now it’s “high end” sushi in an old hole in the wall breakfast spot.
Prices are a bit higher than average but quality was standard. The chirashi ($40+) bowl was great with thoughtfully presented flavors but the mango tuna roll ($20+) had a piece of skin/tendon in every bite.
Service was doing the best they could during a busy dinner rush. They forgot one of our rolls entirely and tried to make that up to us.
They included miso soup and salad which I’m not sure is standard as it’s priced out separately in the menu.
Overall the price did not match the service and atmosphere, I understand we are in weird economic times but that made paying $20+ for a roll with chewy bits all the more disappointing.“

“Ooo this place is actually really good! Our team stopped over here for lunch and we were all very satisfied with everything. They also had some interesting yuzu alcoholic beverages that I would have loved to try if I were not headed right back into work.. maybe next time when we're back in this area again.“

“This ramen shop is my proud spot to take visiting friends in Palo Alto. It is hard to find good Asian food in Palo Alto with reasonable price. However, Ramen Nagi is so good that it is worth the bucks. I have tried all flavors and it is all delicious, including Veggie Ramen. Prepared to be full after slurping all the ramen! The line is very long so the trick is to get there before the shop opens. 15 minutes early should be good enough.
UPDATE 2026/6: Still very popular with a long line! I still finish the ramen to the very last drop :) The chicken karaage is also good but I am surprised that the boys don't like it that much. Anyway, just ramen itself is enough to check this place out.“
