“When we arrived a large party, with lots of noisy kids, were preparing to leave. However, it took them a while, so it was noisy and chaotic. But, when they left we really enjoyed the peace and quiet of the outdoor patio. You never believe you're sitting next to the very busy parking lot. Kevin was our waiter, again. He was very apologetic for the chaos and, as on previous occasions, very friendly and efficient. My friend wasn't hungry, so she only ate 1/2 of her 1/2 roasted beet salad. She did enjoy it and took the rest to go. I had my usual pasta with goat cheese and marinara sauce. I was hungry and ate my entire dish, whereas I normally take half to go. It was delicious, of course. Overall, we had a nice lunch and catch up. I'll be back.“

“We went for dinner with the family on a Tuesday night. The place has a high ceiling and is very open - much like an attic space. The counter at the front has a huge refrigerated case with nice looking pastries. We didn't try the pastries. We were seated and the waiter came quickly. She took our drink order and came back for our entree order right after. We all chose pasta. I had the bolognese tagliatelle. My husband had the plain red sauce. My husband reported that his pasta was great. Mine sauce was good but not great. It was soft and lacked depth, or character. The pasta itself was good, not the pasta. My main concern was the noise level. Granted, I'm not young, but the hard floors and high ceilings weren't softened by any soft covers, so it was deafening to me.“

“What an incredible hidden gem! We were craving Italian food and decided to check out Al Italiano. Walked in on a Tuesday night a little before closing. Eddie and the owner Robert greeted us warmly. The menu has some great options and we were indecisive what to order. Our waiter Eddie is a first class professional and answered all our questions with patience and in details. His recommendations were amazing. We ordered Eggplant Parmesan, Veal Piccata, Children’s cheese pizza, Salumiere pizza and their homemade Tiramisu. Everything was excellent and so tasty. The whole experience at Al Italiano was outstanding and unforgettable. Robert is a great business owner who actually cares and treats you like family. His whole staff is very respectful and helpful. “This was our first time dining at Caffe Delfini, but it certainly won't be the last. The proprietor, Riccardo Menichetti, greeted us warmly and escorted us promptly to a cosy table in the larger of two dining areas which was refreshingly quiet even as more guests arrived (note: they also have a private party space that we did not see). Every item we ordered was superb. We shared an order of bruschetta with fresh tomatoes, and a generous portion of Bresaola. For entrees, we had the Risotto Saffron & Shrimp, and the Fusilli Nassa (also with shrimp). Both were flavorful and arrived piping hot. We added an order of their homemade bread, because you can't have too many carbohydrates when the preparation is this good. To complete the meal, we enjoyed the flourless chocolate cake and an orange gelato, which was prettily presented in a frozen orange skin. Like so many of the businesses in this area, they had to shut down after the horrendous Palisades fires. Now that they're back in action, and we have belatedly discovered them, Caffe Delfini will definitely be one of our go-to "special occasion" restaurants.“

“This has been my family’s go to restaurant for decades. Every time I go here, I am hit with nostalgia. Most birthdays and special occasions were spent here. Since I live out of state now, I always have to stop at chi chi's whenever I visit California. The plain cheese pizza is the best pizza hands down. I’ll never find another pizza like it. Also the cold cut sandwiches are delicious 🤤 I wish chi chis would extend into Oregon 🥲 also, please NEVER go out of business or I would be so devastated lol“

“First time here and it was delightful! We sat outside on a lovely evening and enjoyed mozzarella sticks and the ahi starters, both of which were fresh and tasty. For dinner it was the meat lasagna, chicken piccata, chicken Marsala, wild caught halibut special and short rib pappardelle special. Where to start? Every bite was spectacular, so flavorful and we all shared our dishes so nobody missed out on the deliciousness. Service was spot on, we never felt rushed or forgotten. “It was a truly delightful experience, having lunch at Olivios Trattoria. It’s a cozy little Italian spot tucked into a strip mall, but don’t let the location fool you—the food here rivals high-end Italian restaurants.

Usually the salmon with vegetables and a side of pasta is a perfect combination and every bite is outstanding. The salmon was perfectly seared on the outside while remaining moist and tender inside, with just the right hint of seasoning and citrus. The vegetables were fresh, lightly sautéed, and had great texture—clearly not an afterthought. As for the pasta? Cooked al dente, rich in flavor, and coated with a savory sauce that hit all the right notes. Everything felt homemade, not mass-produced.

The atmosphere was relaxed and warm, with attentive service that made the meal even more enjoyable. This place is a hidden gem for Italian food lovers in Simi Valley, and I definitely love to be there to try more dishes.

“Yesterday, I had an unforgettable lunch at Vincitore Restaurant in Agoura. The Italian food was exceptional, and the service was impeccable. The owner, Kamran, personally took our order, served our meal, and surprised us with a delicious tiramisu. It was the best dining experience I’ve ever had!

Last night, I topped the day off with a Door Dash order from Kamran’s other restaurant, “Spumoni,” in Newbury Park. I enjoyed the “Linguine Alle Vongole” pasta with fresh manilla clams, roasted garlic in white wine sauce. It was so good!

“Had a great dinner at Ameci with a friend! We ordered the largest pepperoni & Canadian bacon pizza plus a cheeseburger with fries—everything was delicious. Took leftovers and some chocolate mousse home, and her family loved it too.

Shoutout to Max for making the experience even better. He was training a new team member, juggling delivery calls, helping customers, and still stayed calm, patient, and super kind the whole time. He puts in the level of effort that definitely deserves recognition and I hope is valued the way it should be!

“Food is always good here and service as well. I love the endless soup with their meals. Lunch time is a great bargain. Wish they'd have have the option of the sandwiches coming on Italian bread than just all on the bread sticks but they are still pretty good for the price. I go for the meatball sand because it's a cheaper bargain price and I thought it was much better tasting than the chicken sandwich which was about the same as you'd get at Burger King. My wife and I come to Olive Garden mostly when they have the GET ONE TAKE ONE HOME DEAL. Can't beat that. The only reason I don't give this place 5 stars is because all their chicken is not that good and is the same yuck kind you can get at any fast food joint. The meatballs are great. But then if you want to add them to you spaghetti dinner, they charge an extra $3 for 3 meatballs or sausage even. Then that makes spaghetti & meatballs come to about $16 and that is overpriced imo. On some visits the spaghetti sauce is caked with thick tomato slices in it and no other options because it's all made that day. Some days the sauce is more meaty and then the next visit tons of too much tomato slices and it's all watery. Also, being a bigger guy, almost every time we've been here, it's been a bit embarrassing being seated at booths that don't fit me and then having to move and I think the host or hostess should know better and know their tables. Otherwise this is a place we go to for lunch and only for dinner when they have the buy one take one home deal.“

“I ordered delivery so I can't comment on anything but the food. The food was good but the alfredo sauce needs way more parmesan. Since I cook a lot I was easily able to fix it up and make it delicious but it technically should already come that way.
However, the prices are reasonable, and its difficult to hit that price point if you are spending tons of money on high quality parmesan.“

“This is not the BARONE'S PIZZERIA but a branch that is closer to our new home. So to try it out, I ordered a couple of pies to take home. Their thin crust pizzas came out of the oven, at the time ordered, and were as good as the pizzas prepared at the main restaurant.

Barone's Pizzeria creates a thin crisp crust rectangular pie. It is ladleled with a rich marinara sauce; then toppings are added. First, Monterey Jack cheese slices are layered to cover the sauce, then fresh veggies, and the protein of your choice are added. The resulting baked pie is uniquely delicious. I've enjoyed it for years. Our second pizza was made with vegan cheese. I devoured the personal sized pie.

Besides producing a remarkable duplicate of the original pizza, the Branch Pizzeria has a beautiful, romantic patio.

STUFF: The bathroom is inside, at the rear of the restaurant. A hand washing sink is outside the bathroom. Dogs may accompany their owners on the patio. Parking is free and easy. The lot is located east of the eatery. There are ADA spaces.“

“This is truly the most delicious pizza in the valley. The quality of ingredients is superior to any other pizza. I’ve tried in the valley and the service is consistently wonderful. I love placing a pick up order by phone and coming in to pick up the pies, which are always hot and fresh. I love that they have some unique items based on their Persian heritage and you truly cannot find these anywhere else.“

“I love the tranquility of sitting outside the service greeted me immediately and I couldn’t wait to order the fettuccine with chicken I understand this place is a little further up Scale in price but it’s worth every penny of it the seating is perfectly fenced off with glass windows but channels are nice breeze that gently cools you while you sit sipping whatever apéritif and enjoying the wonderful bread that is accompanied with a fantastic in-house spread. The fettuccine has larger noodles and you’ll be used to put the texture of the creamy wonderful sauce and the chicken fried so perfectly I blended pepper to give it the perfect aftertaste I literally would’ve eaten 20 pounds of this if I could but this is my special place to come every so often it is a Christmas and birthday gift to myself!“
