“We celebrated our holiday dinner party at Rusti Kitchen Calabasas with our entire staff, and we were extremely happy with the service, food, ambiance, and overall experience. We arrived a bit early, and the owners kindly seated us at the bar and offered complimentary drinks while our table for 20 was being prepared. Throughout the evening, they checked in with us to make sure everything was taken care of.

Our staff loved everything that was served buffet-style—salmon, pasta, salads, pizza, vegetables, chicken, and a delicious dessert. We never felt rushed and truly felt at home, which made the night even more special. We had an amazing time and would absolutely recommend Rusti Kitchen. We will definitely consider them again for future team gatherings.“

“What an incredible hidden gem! We were craving Italian food and decided to check out Al Italiano. Walked in on a Tuesday night a little before closing. Eddie and the owner Robert greeted us warmly. The menu has some great options and we were indecisive what to order. Our waiter Eddie is a first class professional and answered all our questions with patience and in details. His recommendations were amazing. We ordered Eggplant Parmesan, Veal Piccata, Children’s cheese pizza, Salumiere pizza and their homemade Tiramisu. Everything was excellent and so tasty. The whole experience at Al Italiano was outstanding and unforgettable. Robert is a great business owner who actually cares and treats you like family. His whole staff is very respectful and helpful. The ambiance is very Italian and welcoming. We found a true gem! Thank you Robert, Eddie and staff! We will be back soon!“

“This was our first time dining at Caffe Delfini, but it certainly won't be the last. The proprietor, Riccardo Menichetti, greeted us warmly and escorted us promptly to a cosy table in the larger of two dining areas which was refreshingly quiet even as more guests arrived (note: they also have a private party space that we did not see). Every item we ordered was superb. We shared an order of bruschetta with fresh tomatoes, and a generous portion of Bresaola. For entrees, we had the Risotto Saffron & Shrimp, and the Fusilli Nassa (also with shrimp). Both were flavorful and arrived piping hot. We added an order of their homemade bread, because you can't have too many carbohydrates when the preparation is this good. To complete the meal, we enjoyed the flourless chocolate cake and an orange gelato, which was prettily presented in a frozen orange skin. Like so many of the businesses in this area, they had to shut down after the horrendous Palisades fires. Now that they're back in action, and we have belatedly discovered them, Caffe Delfini will definitely be one of our go-to "special occasion" restaurants.“

“It was a truly delightful experience, having lunch at Olivios Trattoria. It’s a cozy little Italian spot tucked into a strip mall, but don’t let the location fool you—the food here rivals high-end Italian restaurants.

Usually the salmon with vegetables and a side of pasta is a perfect combination and every bite is outstanding. The salmon was perfectly seared on the outside while remaining moist and tender inside, with just the right hint of seasoning and citrus. The vegetables were fresh, lightly sautéed, and had great texture—clearly not an afterthought. As for the pasta? Cooked al dente, rich in flavor, and coated with a savory sauce that hit all the right notes. Everything felt homemade, not mass-produced.

The atmosphere was relaxed and warm, with attentive service that made the meal even more enjoyable. This place is a hidden gem for Italian food lovers in Simi Valley, and I definitely love to be there to try more dishes.

Was so accommodating and informed about the tremendous choices on the menu. The food is well cooked, fast to arrive and all portions were enough for 2 and then some. Let me send out a special hello to our server.He too was attentive and very happy. Loved it, Loved it, Loved it !! We have decided to make this our date night dinner restaurant monthly. “Had a great dinner at Ameci with a friend! We ordered the largest pepperoni & Canadian bacon pizza plus a cheeseburger with fries—everything was delicious. Took leftovers and some chocolate mousse home, and her family loved it too.

Shoutout to Max for making the experience even better. He was training a new team member, juggling delivery calls, helping customers, and still stayed calm, patient, and super kind the whole time. He puts in the level of effort that definitely deserves recognition and I hope is valued the way it should be!

“Food is always good here and service as well. I love the endless soup with their meals. Lunch time is a great bargain. Wish they'd have have the option of the sandwiches coming on Italian bread than just all on the bread sticks but they are still pretty good for the price. I go for the meatball sand because it's a cheaper bargain price and I thought it was much better tasting than the chicken sandwich which was about the same as you'd get at Burger King. My wife and I come to Olive Garden mostly when they have the GET ONE TAKE ONE HOME DEAL. Can't beat that. The only reason I don't give this place 5 stars is because all their chicken is not that good and is the same yuck kind you can get at any fast food joint. The meatballs are great. But then if you want to add them to you spaghetti dinner, they charge an extra $3 for 3 meatballs or sausage even. Then that makes spaghetti & meatballs come to about $16 and that is overpriced imo. On some visits the spaghetti sauce is caked with thick tomato slices in it and no other options because it's all made that day. Some days the sauce is more meaty and then the next visit tons of too much tomato slices and it's all watery. Also, being a bigger guy, almost every time we've been here, it's been a bit embarrassing being seated at booths that don't fit me and then having to move and I think the host or hostess should know better and know their tables. Otherwise this is a place we go to for lunch and only for dinner when they have the buy one take one home deal.“

“I ordered delivery so I can't comment on anything but the food. The food was good but the alfredo sauce needs way more parmesan. Since I cook a lot I was easily able to fix it up and make it delicious but it technically should already come that way.
However, the prices are reasonable, and its difficult to hit that price point if you are spending tons of money on high quality parmesan.“

“I love the tranquility of sitting outside the service greeted me immediately and I couldn’t wait to order the fettuccine with chicken I understand this place is a little further up Scale in price but it’s worth every penny of it the seating is perfectly fenced off with glass windows but channels are nice breeze that gently cools you while you sit sipping whatever apéritif and enjoying the wonderful bread that is accompanied with a fantastic in-house spread. The fettuccine has larger noodles and you’ll be used to put the texture of the creamy wonderful sauce and the chicken fried so perfectly I blended pepper to give it the perfect aftertaste I literally would’ve eaten 20 pounds of this if I could but this is my special place to come every so often it is a Christmas and birthday gift to myself!“
