“I had the pleasure of dining at Brami's Pizza today and it was an absolute delightful ,The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the lasagna & the spinach pizza. Both were bursting with flavor and had the perfect blend of ingredients.besides the fantastic food, and exceptional service,The staff were attentive, friendly, and efficient. 20 minutes, and the food was ready will definitely see you again to try more from your menu“
“This is a local spot that has stood the test of time for a reason. It's important to support good local small businesses, and Brooklyn Pizzeria deserves it for their consistency and well priced deals. My usual order is an extra large half cheese half pepperoni. Their salad and wings are decent too and made to order.“
“This place is a ? gem. Delicious food, amazing customer service and so fresh. We had a great experience. Kids love their pizzzas. Variety of toppings and cheese to choose from. Friendly staff and convenient take out.Vegetarian options: Great selection“
“I would give 6 stars if that were possible! The food at Dante is consistently incredible, and the service is outstanding! I was here with a group a few weeks ago and we had such a wonderful experience. The staff really goes above and beyond to make it a special dining experience. 10/10 recommend! <3“
“I had an absolutely wonderful experience here, everyone was so attentive and kind and the food was, of course, unmatched.Wolfgang even came out and introduced himself and was so lovely!A million thanks to the chef and his team.Moriah N. Boone“
“The restaurant is located on the second floor of Nerano in Beverly Hills (you have to take an elevator up to the second floor through Nerano). This gives the spot kind of a fun speakeasy feel to it. When you get out of the elevator, you walk into a beautifully designed / decorated, cozy, albeit slightly quirky space. It's not large (I think the capacity is 34). Came here for a food event, which I did a review for separately, but this experience in particular was grabbing a drink at the bar. (I did think the food was delicious though and urge folks to come here and give this place a try. I know I want to come back and try more menu items.) The bar is beautifully designed and organized. I found myself perusing and mentally cataloguing the whiskeys as I always do when I go to new restaurants. But this place looked like a place that has fun cocktails. So I ordered The George Michael. The drinks here are really interactive, and the bartenders are super enthusiastic to the point that it's infectious. My drink in particular had some bowls that floated up and you had to catch it with a paddle. Flavor wise it was like espresso martini with a peanut butter twist to it. All in all this place is a great place to grab drinks and/or food. Lots of fun. There's a lot of street parking nearby, but it could get challenging especially during the weekends. I came in the middle of the week and was able to find parking about a block away.“
“I love little hole in the wall places. They are usually the "good spots." This was no exception! Amazing pie! Simple and amazing! I didn't want to wipe my mouth. I just wanted to lick them to get every drop of the perfect sauce.“
“I want to love this place, killer ambiance. Attentive staff.. creative menu.. squash blossoms are amazing.. pasta is very lackluster, I would give it 3 stars at best. Thick overly doughy noodles, sauce lacking flavor. I have eaten all over Italy and I would not even ask it to be on par with that, I have had mom and pops in America with better pasta. Passionfruit gelato was amazing.“
“Casual but nice. Service and staff are very kind and knowledgeable. Recommended wine based on my preferences.Food was very good but I think they put cream in the carbonara… and a poached egg on top. I’ve seen this at other LA restaurants- not sure why it’s a thing.Good portion sizes.“
“We thoroughly enjoyed our food and service. Our party of 6 was well taken care of, though reservations for an early dinner were necessary. Only reason “atmosphere” is 4/5 is because the ceiling was leaking water after the morning rain and we had to switch tables. This is not an issue you are likely to encounter. I will absolutely be coming back on special occasions. At the time of writing this review, entrées ranged from $35-$90 and the quality makes up for it. The plates are well portioned, though smaller than Americana; I prefer it this way. The staff were polite and thorough. The wine/drink menu was comprehensive. For hors d’oeuvres, we ordered the garlic bread (amazing sauces!), Fritto misto, burrata, and winter beets. They were all superbe. I highly recommend the garlic bread and burrata. I was able to snap pictures of 3 of our Entrées: Black linguine with lobster, squash agnolotti, and scallops. Oh, the affogato dessert had great presentation (see ice block picture). Overall, 5/5. I recommend a visit if you can afford the occasion. Valet parking was $18 with “validation”.“
“I just want to give a shout out to Aron as I picked up a tray of meat lasagna, spaghetti meat sauce, salad and garlic bread for my New Year's party and he gave me detailed easy prep instructions to make it hot and taste amazing. Everyone was very pleased. The only issue I have is he said that I would have enough for left overs but my family took take home plates of everything and left me with a few noodles the next day. I guess those are the pitfalls of being a good host! If you ever are in the area stop by and treat yourself as I have for the past 40 years. In the words of Jim Harbaugh, it just doesn't get any better than this.“
“The BEST dining experience!! Our table had a gluten & garlic allergy and the staff and chef were so accommodating!! It did not feel like an impediment, they offered us so many options!! All the food was delicious and the service was even better!! We love this restaurant and can't recommend it enough!! 20/10!!“
“Visited Uovo in Studio City for the first time and tried their tasting menu. The truffle pasta was amazing, seriously good. The pomodoro was just okay, didn't impress much. But the Tiramisu? Wow, I'm not even a big fan of Tiramisu and it left me speechless. Worth a visit for sure.“
“My other review was from 4 years ago and the food was delicious (southern Italy) then and it is still now. The owner was very friendly and helpful. He made a special children's portion for my granddaughter who is now 10. Vladdy (sp) was so happy to see us again that he gave us the regular spumoni and an extra piece to take home. I showed him the previous review and he was happy that I took the time to write it. The chicken parmigiana and meatballs and spaghetti were also delicious. My daughter ordered the seafood plate and it was too much for her to eat. Make this a go to restaurant when in the area. Rhonda S.“
“I'm from NY. I'm a sandwich guy. I've eaten sandwiches on 4 continents. Their meatball sub is, easy, a Top 5 sandwich I've ever had, maybe top 3. It excels in every possible sandwich category. I just finished one. Spectacular.“
“This is one of the finest Italian places!Everything is amazing, the food, the service and everythingServants are very attentive and will answer any questions, do recommendations, take care of youVery nice way if you plan to celebrate any special occasion thereWheelchair accessibility: Yes“
“I know this pizzeria for about 6 years. They have the best pizza in Winnetka, if I don’t exaggerate they have the best Persian pizza in Los Angeles. Every time I have a party, it doesn’t matter birthday party or just having my friends over for a football or basketball game, everyone ask me to order some cheese or pepperoni pizza from Thyme. We all recommend this place. Next time instead of ordering pizza from Domino’s or Papa Jons, try Thyme Pizzeria. You won’t regret. Also they have this heart shaped pizza which is good for special occasions like Valentine’s Day or anniversary.Vegetarian options: I’m not vegetarian. But I believe that if this place offers a fully vegan menu, vegetarians can find lots of vegetarian options. I’m not sure if they allow substitutions on their vegan menu it. But it doesn’t hurt to ask. Definitely, they have tons of vegetarian food.Dietary restrictions: They have another menu a full vegan menu with bunch of vegan specialty pizzas, vegan pastas, vegan appetizers, and vegan desserts. Also they offer gluten-free and cauliflower gluten-free pizzas. I’ve never tried those options.Parking: There are lots of free parking spaces.“
“The lasagna was sumptuous and so light and delicious! I can't wait to have it again. It's the best ever! The service was delightful with a homey feel. The ambiance was bright and cheery. It felt like you were in someone's home and just enjoying the best company and meal you could possibly have. I can't recommend it enough! Oh...and the tiramisu is a must! Also best in show like the lasagna!!!“
“First time here since they first opened two years ago. Fast service! Have an “A” rating in the window. Very clean! Many menu items. Italian to Mexican! Customers coming in while we waited for our order seemed to all be on a first name basis with a small community feel. Lots of fist bumping going on! Lol Seemed everybody knew each other by their first names. The chicken burrito that we split was good. A customer who was already there eating her lunch when we arrived, got up and went out of her way to let the owner know that she really enjoyed her fish tacos ??. She said they were excellent! So may have to give those a try next time! Great place for a quick bite! Catering seems to be offered.“
“This has been a favorite of mine for over 15 years. The pepperoni pizza is the BEST pizza in town. 2 for 1 Happy Hour is great. If you like sports they have every game playing on so many TVs! Great bartenders and servers. It's an awesome place !“
“Great experience all around. Very attentive service and excellent food. We ordered shrimp and salmon dishes that were very tasty. Also tried the tiramisu and it was so creamy and fresh. We all had a great time w happy hour wine deals. Great place for family or intimate dinner. Will be back.“
“FANTASTIC pizza place. Pizza is as NY as you can get without actually being in NY. Service is EVEN BETTER! My pizza ended up overcooked. Instead of just fobbing it off onto me, the owner brought it out, showed it to me and asked if I want it or if I'd like another. He made me another and still offered me the other pie to take home. Truly unique experience for a pizza shop as busy as this one. These guys obviously care about making delicious pizza...and that's a rare thing nowadays. So go experience it for yourself.“
“I’m 39 now” been coming to this place since I was a kid! Absolutely amazing food and service!!!! Hands down the best pizza you will come across in the entire valley!Make sure to try it out yourself, you will not be disappointed “?Parking: It’s on a Main Street you can’t miss it.“
“Visiting from WI, randomly chose Mr Pizza and I was blown away! The guys in charge seem to really care about the food they send out. Not much of a dining room, I would recommend just doing carry out. That being said the ingredients and overall taste were FANTASTIC, one of the top 5 pizzas I’ve ever eaten! If you’re in Van Nuys give these guys a shot!“
“I love this pizza place. It so delicious and always satisfies my cravings! They are super friendly 10/10 and pizza is SO GOOD 10/10. They were super kind enough to deliver my pizza (my address was slightly out of there delivery range) Delivery was fast and easy. My food was still hot and very enjoyable.“
“Ike's has the best vegetarian subs around! Well, from what I've tried anyway. Few months back I tried their Freddy Krueger sandwich (not vegetarian) on their dutch crunch and it was great. The dutch crunch is delicious. I also tried their James and the giant peach recently and it'll be my go-to anytime I visit for sure! All the ingredients come together perfectly and the vegan fried chicken is good too! Their sandwiches come with a candy (caramel apple lollipops) and as someone with a sweet tooth, I love it. Service was good and my sandwich came out in a timely manner. It's a great place to grab a bite after running errands in the plaza.“
“I requested on my booking and in person from the hostess not to be seated next to the door. It's always drafty and uncomfortable, yet we have been sitting next to the door. Also, the tables have been side ways - what makes the space between the party far away from each other. We came only 6 people and I couldn't make a conversation past my son who set next to me. Other than that, Kevin our waiter was great and food was delicious as always.“
“Hands down- best pizza in the Valley.Service- friendly, and invitingPizza- can't rush greatness and they know it. The way they prepare your pizza shows how much they care.Great consistency all the way through. The sauce- unreal. The marinara makes the pizza and this particular places just overshadows all the other NY pizza spots.Used to love me some other well known places (won't name em, dont wanna bring em down) but since I found this place, I can't go anywhere else.Kid-friendliness: Very nice staff. Co.e with my daughter regularly and she loves it here“
“We stopped for lunch, Sunday, kind of late.. place was empty.... We had eaten here before... so why not?... My wife ordered a falafel sandwich combo, and I had the lamb gyro plate over rice with a salad... Looks are very deceiving... This very unassuming place, tucked next to a DelTaco.... prepared an unbelievable meal!! The falafel sandwich was huge!! and delicious!! and the gyro, rice cooked perfect... meat very tasty... Leave all prejudices out.... and give this little family owned place a try... Oh. when leaving.. the place was full!!! We weren't wrong after all.!! Order for take out or delivery.. but support this place!!“
“DeFranko’s is an OG sandwich stop in the valley. They have been around for over 50 years. It’s a little hole in the wall stop with no indoor dining but they have a few tables and chairs outside with a very small parking lot.The service was just okay. They definitely get a lot of orders in person and over the phone. There was a line out the door. I recommend calling ahead because they do get busy!I got the Italian sub for my parents who were in town and a chicken salad for me. The chicken salad was just okay. After reading more reviews, I wish I had gone with the pastrami because that one seems most popular. My parents enjoyed their sandwich but wish it had more meet inside.I will definitely come back again by calling in and trying something new.“
“Salve Signor Giovanni! Si ricorda di me? Sono il ragazzo che venne da lei a cercare lavoro nel lontano 2009. Mi mando' da lei Massimo. Volevo fare il lavapiatti! E lei mi disse che dovevo stare in sala per via del mio bell'aspetto... sempre secondo lei. Mi auguro che il ristorante le vada alla grande e le auguro tutta la fortuna d'America.“
“Our friend's 75th birthday was on March 29th 2024, and he chose this restaurant for his birthday dinner. The food was very good, the service was friendly and attentive, and we had a lovely evening! I really enjoyed their Chicken Marsala entree!“
“This is a casual, local, Italian restaurant with incredible food. I always start with one of their tasty soups and we share the chopped Italian salad. (One of my favorites) All of the entrees are perfectly seasoned and well prepared in large portions. Don’t miss this great neighborhood gem.“
“Gino’s East of Chicago in Los Angeles proves that not all heroes wear capes – some serve pizza. With their unwavering commitment to both kind customer service and top-notch cuisine, they’ve rightfully earned the title of Best Pizza in Los Angeles for two consecutive years. Walking into Gino’s, you’re immediately greeted by a vibe that’s as inviting as the aroma of their legendary deep-dish pizzas baking to perfection. The staff treats every customer like family, making sure your dining experience is as memorable as the meal. Speaking of the meal, the pizzas here are nothing short of a masterpiece. From the golden, buttery crusts that cradle layers of gooey cheese and rich, flavorful sauce, to the carefully curated selection of fresh toppings, every bite is a testament to why they’re reigning champs. Whether you’re a deep-dish aficionado or a pizza purist, Gino’s East of Chicago in LA doesn’t just serve pizza; they serve an experience that leaves you counting the days until your next visit.“
“The people on here complaining and giving one star, don’t exist. There is no way that if you appreciate great food and service that you would be dissatisfied. The place is really pricey as a Michelin restaurant would be in the arguably the most expensive street in the world, with a luxurious brand and tier to the chef of the number one restaurant in the world. Speaking of which, I had the tortellini and the Emilia Burger as they are the two Massimo classics in the menu.. bread basket and dessert were amazing as was the service. The burger was delicious and the tortellini was elegant and had a big flavour. I don’t think I would have to go back again but I certainly enjoyed my visit.“
“Went to dinner with our son and his girlfriend, and even though it was an hour before closing, the employees were awesome with their hospitality mo rush to leave, but most of all the food was awesome small portions aren't very small. We all enjoyed our late “

“La La Lasagna is to die for and if I was dying, I would want this as my last meal. I'm not being hyperbolic when I say this is my favorite food to eat *ever* and I have a child-like giddiness when I have the chance to stop by this truck.Chef Michelangelo is the nicest man on the planet and I'm happy to give him all my money. Do yourself a big favor and RUN to get some.“
“We came down from the Getty Center for a dinner. Tucked away in quiet corner of Brentwood. Small & compact dining area that didn't feel cramped. Not a quiet place but the sounds from the kitchen were charming and my girlfriend and I could still hold a conversation just fine. The food was excellent and portions were just right. We had the tricolor salad as a starter, shared the zucchini rav & beet pesto spaghetti for mains, and finished with tiramisu and lemon sorbet and didn't leave feeling overly stuffed. Would highly recommend this place!“
“We had a wonderful Sunday brunch @ Ella. It's located on the ground floor of the SIXTY Hotel in Beverly Hills, right next to the Ferrari dealership. Being that it's Beverly Hills this area is a great place to have a meal. The hotel and the surrounding areas are very upscale and is very different from many other parts of LA. We live close so we decided to stop in for brunch. It's really well designed on the inside, with subway tiles, intricate rugs and lights that really add to the ambiance. It's retro, but in a classic, non-diner, type of way. They have a live music area, however no one was playing during our brunch. Parking in this area is pretty easy as we found free street parking in the neighborhood behind the hotel, otherwise the best option will be valet parking at the hotel. We were seated right when we arrived and there were only about 3 other occupied tables so it was much more calm and quieter than we are used to. Our server was very fast and checked in on us often. We started the meal with some Almond Lattes and a Croissant. The lattes were very good, but you could tell the croissant was not made in house, but rather bought from outside, so it was not as fresh and flaky as I hope for them to be, so I can't recommend ordering that. Our entrees were fabulous though. We chose the Prosciutto Benedict and added avocado, and the Wake Up Plate, which is 2 eggs, bacon, toast, and side salad. We both really enjoyed our dishes and would both order them again. Pricing is also very fair, which I was pleasantly surprised to see given that it's hotel pricing in Beverly Hills.Overall a great breakfast option and a location that we plan to visit again soon in the near future. Highly recommend giving Ella a try.“
“We live adjacent to The Village. After taking our late-afternoon stroll through UCLA and about, we headed to Whole Foods to pick up dinner. But they’re closed for Easter. As we’re now super hungry, we stop in House of Meatballs. What a terrific surprise. The bread roasted in Rosemary was sumptuous. I’m a vegetarian and the Tofu meatballs were superb, as was the roasted cauliflower. All in all, what a find! Especially for the modest price.“
“The food here is delicious, we got the pizza, salad and wings , it was all delicious, friendly staff here too, they gave us great service, always checked up on us, the environment felt welcomed, if your looking for new pizza try Guido's!“
“Absolutely delicious. From the first interaction with the owner all the way down to the wonderful recommendations from the bartender, waitstaff etc. I honestly cannot speak any more highly enough for Nerano. Truly a wonderful and delicious experience! I had the Spring salad to start, the gnudi al tartufo Nero and to finish Nocciolino. Superb!!“
“My family has been going to Fratelli's since the old days on Ventura Blvd. It was a Friday staple for my brother and I, throughout the entirety of the 90s and the 00s respectively, to walk across the street from St. Mel and grab a slice while we waited for our folks to pick us up. Today, It's the still best damn pizza for miles. Grab yourself a Pepperoni and onion, it's my favorite!“
“I've been here once before but came here yesterday and this sandwich was HEAVEN!!!! It's a small but it was pretty big! Lol My boyfriend ordered the ravioli and he seemed to enjoy it as well! Customer service by our server was so good! She was talkative and engaging with all her customers I wish I got her name! I recommend coming and I will be back!“

I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an unforgettable dining experience!“
“It's really beautiful if you're on a date. The outside seating is lovely. It's fine dining-ish, but they don't really follow the rules. I was a party of 4, and they cleared 3 of my friend's plates as I was still eating!! Then proceeded to drop a dessert list. Rude.“
“I had a delicious sandwich with egg, tomato, crispy ham and a soft sauce. With delicious bread.Cheap price and it is on a street perpendicular to Rodeo Drive. The lemonade is homemade. Very nice staff and it was very good on the terrace. It has more dishes that I hope to return to try.“
“It is authentic Italian food. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. When Italians eat Italian food in United States they get disappointed. After Sugo I understand why. Everything tastes so much better the real Italian way. If I remember correctly Cook is from Milano. Definitely Recommended!“
“I remember coming here as a child and thr owner and his wife always kind to me they literally watched me grow up i absolutely loved theyre pepperoni pizza a fried eggplant! I cannot ever seem to find this type of quality pizza anywhere else even mh mom agrees! Hands down the best pizza anywhere! I remember as a kid used to love watching them prepare pizzas great memories owner and wife were always so kind to me!“
