“This hidden jem will not disappoint. The food is on point and deliciously fresh and tantalizing! They have a menu that fits every type of eater, including vegetarian selections and healthy tidbits. For those who love to indulge, mouth waters glasses of ice-cold milk shakes dipped in chocolate await you, with leftovers in the container and a spoon! There are waffles with maple syrup, Hawaiian pineapple chicken sandwiches, Serrano peppers mixed in with scrambled eggs, and kids menu items that can feed two very hungry preschools from a single plate. I always have leftovers. And to top it off, the prices are pretty reasonable, especially for the huge portion sizes. When you pull up, you may notice that the lines may be long, but don't let that hijack your food craving. Stop the car and come on in! They have a fast system, and it works like clock work. I don't know if it's because they are located at the airport where people traditionally need fast service? Or if they carry on the excellence, always model from it being an early military insulation moons and moons ago! But it works! You place your order before you're even seated and pay right away. Then you have many opportunities for seating. You can go outside and observe the plans and helicopters up close and personal on the top deck. Or there are several covered see through patios. Each is well heated and ventilated. Or you can snuggle inside in a booth or at a table with friends. You will find plenty of staff who check in on you, and are constantly on the move, providing exceptional, high quality customer service. It's a pleasant atmosphere for families, friends or individuals. You can even find a seat at the counter and watch the food service in action. Bartender Matt is the owner and is truly a really nice guy who makes you feel like you are in his home. Went the next day around 11 and the day crew (patrons and staff) are equally awesome. Matt was there again! Only bummer is that I live in the East Coast. I’ll definitely be back.”

“We celebrated my mom’s 90 th birthday last night at Ottavios. We have had prior celebrations in the past, 44 years ago we had our Wedding Rehearsal dinner there ! The back private room is so nice to have a dinner party! We were allowed to arrive early and decorate. All the staff were very attentive and friendly! The food was delicious and huge portions! The service was excellent! I highly recommend Ottavios if you are looking for the perfect dinner party location!”

I like smoothies but I am not a massive protein person so I definitely see it being more catered to people who need it and extra vitamins! I was surprised to know it’s connected to a gym also. I liked the strawberry shortcake smoothie but like I said the protein kinda gives it that distinct chalk texture. So was the Chicken Marssla w/mash and Grilled Salmon w/risotto. But the Grilled Rack of Lamb w/mash and the Chilean Bass w/risotto were just unbelievable!! We will definitely go back!”

The Benedict sauce was so good with a hint of sweet, maybe from the ham ? The potatoes were so good and done perfectly with onions and peppers. A perfect combination. Eggs Florentine with hash browns didn’t disappoint either. Both meals were yummy. I highly recommend Tony’s .”

I ordered a family meal that was advertised on their website in the coupons section and paid 37.99 for a large 1 topping pizza, spaghetti, garlic bread and a family size salad. It fed my family of 4 with leftovers. It’s conveniently located near CVS & Vons so while we waited for our pizza we walked to pick up a few things. Everything was bagged perfectly and made it warm by the time we got home. We will be regular customers!”

The food never disappoints, especially the lamb — it’s genuinely some of the best I’ve ever had, perfectly tender and packed with flavor every single time.
I ordered the Lamb Vindaloo, and it was phenomenal. The lamb was unbelievably tender — it practically melted in my mouth — and the sauce was bursting with deep, layered flavors. It had that perfect balance of heat, spice, and richness that makes Vindaloo such a standout dish. You can tell it’s been slow-cooked and crafted with care, not rushed or overly oily like you sometimes find elsewhere.
On top of that, the owner is an absolute sweetheart. You can feel her warmth and pride in everything from the food to the atmosphere. She truly deserves a full house every single day — this restaurant is a gem that more people need to know about.”

“My favorite fish taco in all of Ventura and Los Angeles County! There are a lot of other great menu options but I can’t help but order the world famous fish taco every time. They make their own salsas and special sauce, the tacos are large and a great value. They have half price tacos Monday-Thursday from 3-5pm and a happy hour Monday-Friday 3-6pm. The servers are attentive and so awesome, the restaurant is clean and it’s a great atmosphere. The patio is great and there are heaters for the cooler weather as well as a large table with the ability to have a fire.”

Jenna the Assistant General Manager came by and welcomed us to assist our amazing server Danielle. Jenna took our drink order and we both decided on the guava margarita 🍹 which was fantastic. We both ordered the chicken bowl with rice, Pico corn, cucumber, avocado and nothing but quality ingredients. Danielle brought out the dishes and was very kind, attentive and professional. Jenna was also quite a wonderful person and very professional, kind and friendly. Kudos to the tag team approach! The food was fresh and tasty and we will certainly be back. “Back when I worked and lived in Camarillo, I would come over to Peking Inn all the time for their lunch special. I’ve vividly remember how friendly they were, and how flavorful the food was. The lunch special prices were reasonable too.

We were visiting a few of our friends that own store in the same shopping center, so decided what the heck let’s pop in and do the lunch special like old times.

Just as remembered, the restaurant had the same 90s decor and friendly folks there to greet you at the door. And based on the clientele already seated, you could tell this is still very much a locals favorite restaurant.

They also take a traditional approach towards what they offer. We went to wash up before eating, then came back to find T, water, and fried wonton strips with dipping sauce.

A few minutes later, our super friendly server came over and asked if we had any questions. We had a late breakfast, so decided just to order a couple of soups. Everything was delicious as remembered and again, stellar service from the staff.

The only thing we were a little surprised to see was the prices on the menu. Most Chinese restaurants that we frequent Ventura County have lunch specials ranging between $12 and $14 per plate. the average lunch special here was about $16 per plate. And like other lunch specials, it comes with soup and such as well. We were just surprised to see dinner prices for lunch specials.

Great service, good food, and nice atmosphere always make up for a successful restaurant. Peking Inn hits all of these and makes it no wonder that they have been in business all these years now.”

I found the chili verde burrito to be much less tasty than the Johnnie's equivalent. The Johnnie's salsa is the complement that completes their burrito. The Bobbi's chilled red salsas -I got medium - added more spice than flavor. Bobbie's offers mild, medium and hot red salsas but they prepared ahead of time from blendered ingredients and then refrigerated rather than Johnnie's salsas that are served at the time of ordering. The Bobbie's burrito seemed to have more rice than beans instead of the relatively even proportions at Johnnie's.”

As I was checking the orders, I thought we may be short one spicy chicken sandwich, and I let the employee know. She got one for me right away, and I found out when setting up for the event that I had miscounted. The food was great, and the portions for the large salads and fruits trays were generously portioned, we had plenty of extra!
