“Robin’s is phenomenal on so many levels. The cuisine is out of this world with so much variety. The team is extremely kind, professional, knowledgeable & fun. The ambience is absolutely stunning and so peaceful. The music is fun & uplifting. To top it off, Shanny, the owner, is a leader in contributing to worthy causes. She always generously donates food, time & heart to those in need of support. Even the fire in SO Cal. We love her!”
“During our vacation in Cambria, we stumbled upon a charming winery nestled in the heart of town and decided to step inside for a wine tasting. Despite the lively, bustling atmosphere, we secured a cozy table and embarked on a delightful tasting experience featuring an impressive selection of whites, reds, and more. We were genuinely surprised by the exceptional quality of the wines, each bursting with unique, vibrant flavors that left a lasting impression. We couldn’t resist purchasing a few bottles to take home! Whether you’re seeking a standout wine to sip or the perfect complement to a meal, this winery is a must-visit gem in Cambria.”

“We love this place! The staff is so friendly, the food is great, and the bakery is awesome! My husband loves the chicken fried steak but I highly recommend either the avacado toast or the roasted vegetables with polenta. Don't leave without trying the olallieberry cream puff, yum!”

“I was on the way from Hearst Castle and really lucky to visit this place which offers really outstanding food, for example an excellent octopus appetizer. Then the wine selection is really truly impressive, with special labels from Paso Robles even by the glass, and at less than $20 per glass. And they are very polite and prompt. What else can you ask for?”

“So, we originally stopped at Robin's but were told they were short staffed and there would be at least a 10 minute wait. There appeared to be empty tables everywhere though. So, we headed around the corner to Creekside Garden. The staff was friendly and helpful. The patio was comfirtable and welcoming. The found was so very good. My husband had a turkey fresno cheese sandwich with fries. The peppers were cooked perfectly for the sandwich and the fries yummy. I had beef fres.o and cheese sandwich with potato salad . The meat was perfect, peppers delicious and the potato salad was amazing. We will be back as the experience was better than we've had at Robin's.”

“I always look forward to a meal at this homey place. My friend from his Cambrian days, John Brannon, recommended the hamburgers, and even though I was primed for breakfast I had the Mushroom Burger. Delicious, and the friendly waitress volunteered that I could order onion rings instead of fries at no additional charge. It was a great choice!”

“Coffee seldom impresses me, having been to places like Melbourne where their coffee is a solid 11/10.
But what a pleasant surprise it is to find this place!
It's a small, cute and cozy cafe with outstanding coffee. Appropriately priced as well.”
“An oasis…rolled into town after driving all day, and just wanted a beer. A good beer. Got exactly that.
I come from the land of Pliny and so many other amazing brews, it was nice to get to try something new. Fella behind the bar was chatty and attentive, even though we were the only people there. Location is kind of stale in terms of ambiance, but the beer is good and cold. Will visit again this vacation I am sure.”

“So we came here hoping it wasn’t too busy and luckily was met with an Allegretto winery tasting. Cheese pairings all great, along with the wine rep and the Madeleine waitress. Excellent and would go back. Burger and dessert also very good. Plus she played good music & got the fires going.”
“During our vacation in Cambria, CA, we explored several wineries, but our visit to Black Hand Cellars was a standout. After grabbing coffee across the street, we wandered into this charming winery and were warmly greeted by one of the owners, whose hospitality set the tone for an exceptional experience. Intrigued by their wine tasting, we dove right in, sampling their full range of wines. Each pour was a delight, with bold, memorable flavors that showcased the winery's craftsmanship. The unique bottles and creative labels, especially the Bootlegger which at that time was label-free; nod to prohibition-era charm, added a playful touch to the experience.
We couldn't resist purchasing a few bottles, including the Bootlegger, which paired perfectly with the season finale of MobLand, its rich, distinctive taste elevating our viewing night. The wines were so impressive that we're already planning to order more online. Beyond the stellar wines, the personal connection we formed with the owner through engaging conversations made the visit truly special. Among all the wineries we visited in Cambria, Black Hand Cellars stood out for its exceptional wines, warm atmosphere, and memorable hospitality. We can't wait to return and highly recommend you visit to create your own unforgettable experience.”
“we go here exclusively for ice cream. The only time we are disappointed is if they are closed. Ice Cream is delicious. I get mine in a cup but cones are available. You can sit out front or wander down Main St. Very friendly and look forward to new additions to the shop (chocolates).”

“The Corvettes of Bakersfield visited Cambria Pines Lodge on Sunday, July 9th for a lovely brunch in the garden room. We had 15 cars and a group of 30. We were welcomed by Angel, who took some group pics for us and led us to a perfectly set room ready to accommodate our group! Everyone enjoyed the mimosas and bloody Mary’s as well as our brunch choices. Our servers were attentive and did a great job! After brunch, we ventured out to the garden and played the assorted lawn games - lots of fun. Several members booked rooms to stay over and enjoyed the resort! Many of us strolled the grounds and took the trail leading the Cambria Nursery. Thank you Cambria Pines Team. Visit our Facebook page (Corvettes of Bakersfield) for pics!”

“After over 20 years of visiting, we stumbled on Lillys! What a great place for breakfast! Such a relaxed atmosphere, great service, and delicious food. We had the ham and cheese quiche today. Light and delicious! The staff there are great. We felt welcome as soon as we walked in. I could've just hung out there for hours. Absolutely loved the patio. Plenty of seating. We look forward to our next visit there (tomorrow morning!) 😊”

Everything was done old school there which I can really appreciate. Pasta was delicious! Attended a 🎶concert 🎶there last night. “This was truly one of the most enjoyable dining experiences I’ve had in a long time, and everyone in our party echoed the same sentiment. First of all, they graciously accommodated our group of 25, and the room they provided was charming and spotless. The food was exceptional; everything was served beautifully and we had no complaints whatsoever. Our server was fantastic, always attentive and very kind. We look forward to returning again soon!”
“Trina was a wonderful help. They have a great variety of local and imported wine. Don’t skip it as you go through town. One of the best prices we found on tasting as well”

“I was craving an authentic deli sandwich on my drive up from LA, so I stopped into Sandy’s and I’m so glad I did. I walked in expecting something along the lines of Subway quality, but I was blown away by how good their Italian sub was. The ingredients were incredibly fresh, and the sandwich was packed so full I could barely fit my mouth around each bite. Exactly what a proper deli sandwich should be.
Yes, it costs a few bucks more than a Subway footlong, but the quality isn’t even in the same universe. I would choose Sandy’s over Subway every single time.
Service was fast and friendly, and there’s plenty of both indoor and outdoor seating, which makes it an easy, comfortable stop. It’s an underrated little shop right at the beginning of Main St, and I honestly can’t wait to come back.”

“The eggplant parmesan was delicious! The restaurant makes their own vegan cashew cheese, and it is rich, creamy, and flavorful. So much better than the fake options usually available. My husband had the same dish with chicken and real cheese. He loved his as well! Any restaurant that can mail a vegan dish and a meat dish… well, that’s a treat!!!”

“Main Street Grill, Cambria – Review
Main Street Grill is exactly what you want from a proper American bar-style spot. Big screens showing football, laid-back vibe, and no nonsense. You come here hungry and you’re leaving full.
Portions are big and the food is proper hearty stuff – think classic American comfort food that actually hits the spot, not fancy, just done well. It’s the kind of place you go when you want a solid feed, not a delicate little plate.
Beer selection is decent too – enough choice to keep you happy while you watch the game.
Overall, it’s a great casual stop in Cambria if you’re after big portions, proper bar food, and a sports-bar atmosphere.”

“As two vegans traveling along the California coast , it’s always nice to find food we can eat . The owner was very accommodating and guided us through the menu as to what was vegan . You cannot eat there , it is takeout only, but there were outdoor tables and chairs so you can enjoy your food while it is hot. They even have homemade sorbets with exotic fruits .”

“We were with a large crowd, booked 10 rooms. one of the staff at the front desk needs to go back for some customer service training. she was very rude to my 80+yr old Mother as well as some other family members. The front desk is the face of the property. fix that and anything else will resolve.”
