“Topanga Social has quickly become one of my favorite spots in the Valley. We went to STK for dinner and had a fantastic time. The restaurant has a lively yet classy atmosphere that feels both modern and comfortable. It’s the kind of place that works equally well for a special celebration or a casual night out.

The food at STK was excellent—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every dish tasted like it was prepared with care, and portion sizes were just right. From start to finish, the quality really stood out. Service was just as impressive. Our server was attentive without hovering, answered all our questions, and kept everything moving at a great pace. Drinks, recommendations, timing—it all felt effortless, which made the evening that much more enjoyable.

After dinner, we went to the movie theatres at Topanga Social, and that was the perfect way to round out the night. The theatres were spotless, well-designed, and very comfortable. The reclining seats were a highlight, and the sound and screen quality were excellent. It was easy to relax and enjoy the movie without a single distraction.

What I love most about Topanga Social is that it combines everything in one place—great dining, entertainment, and a vibrant atmosphere. It feels like a destination rather than just a stop, and that makes it special. STK delivered on all fronts, and the theatres added an extra touch that made the whole evening memorable.

“This was my first time here. The valet price wasn’t insanely expensive. Upon walking in, I literally felt like I was in an LA (proper) hotspot. It was busy, thus a bit loud; but it went with the vibe of the restaurant. (Good thing, not a negative one.) It looks like a great place for first dates, date night, girls night out… Maaaybe not for for families with little kids. I work with children and I adore them, however I suggest getting a sitter for the night so everyone can enjoy the ambience. The service was amazing, Mary was very knowledgeable about the menu and helpful with suggestions. Everyone at the table loved their dishes, there were zero complaints. Our friend’s daughter works there and was able to pop out to say hello and goodbye. I cannot wait to go back and try everything else on the menu.“

“We Always come here for a Fun Date Night with my Husband. We LOVE the Comedy Nights. They are Always so funny and the whole staff is great. The prices are perfect, the food is really good and the drinks are always made perfectly by the great bartenders. We will continue coming for Comedy Nights. You should all too. “We did not try the food, but the place looked clean and I would eat here. The bartender was fun and attentive. The DJ was having a great time and spinning a great mix of 80's, 90's and general good tunes. The clientele were nice and we had several conversations with guests. We will come back.“

But let’s be real , she is the real star of the show is Courtney behind the bar. She doesn’t just pour drinks, she makes the whole night better. Quick with a smile, sharper with a comeback, and she’s got this charm that makes you wonder if she’s mixing drinks or just straight-up magic. I came in for a cocktail and left wondering how someone can make bartending look that good.

If you’re looking for a place where the atmosphere is fun and the company is even better, O’Grady’s is it. And if Courtney’s working? Let’s just say you’re in for more than just a great drink.

“I stopped here to watch the Dodgers World Series game 1. This is the local dive bar, the crowd was loud but the Dodgers had a walkoff home run so I was expecting some noise. Pool table was old school, only a quarter to play with a chalkboard of who’s next. I had a fun evening and the lady behind the bar bought me a beer, how often does that ever happen. A five star evening for me!“

“I would consider myself a regular, I go here a few times a week.\nThe food is choice is extensive and when you walk in if you should see some cakes in the desert display, do take the time, they are baked by the owner, don't pass up!\nThe atmosphere is charming, the staff are as warm and friendly as they come, very nice group.\nIn short, a nice place for good home confront food.“

“Live bands every night they're open. Lots of happy regulars, visitors from far & wide, and frequent birthday parties etc. Crowded on weekends. 2 pool tables. Small parking lot, so mostly street parking in the neighborhood. But it's really about the dancing, and the dance floor is usually completely full. They have good beginner line dance lessons on Wed, Thu, & Sun. But no partner lessons, which is a shame because after the lessons and all weekend, partner dancing dominates the floor. Beginning women will find ready older partners to lead them, but absolute beginner guys who don't bring their own practice partner will usually be spectators, with line dances few and far between. I wish they brought in serious partner lessons a couple times a week, especially for the leads.“

“My husband and I usually go during happy hour for their poke nachos and crispy brussel sprouts but have tried a few other things. Everything we've tried has been delicious but occasionally varies in preparation quality. We went on March 18th and ordered the poke nachos but they were not as good. The portion was a lot smaller than usual, so we decided to order another one. The second one came out great (I included a picture of the one prepared correctly) and that's when we realized they left off ingredients from the first one sent. They were still good but it was interesting that the two plates were that different. We didn't mention this to our waiter and I'm sure they would have been accommodating but maybe plates should be checked for quality before they're delivered?

Another note, we usually sit at the bar but we got a table the last time since the bar was packed. We were obviously fine with this but the cleanliness was extremely lacking. The menus had food on them and greasy fingerprints. I'm also not sure why the booths are never wiped down?? The tables are cleaned but the food just lands on the seats. Then you're wondering what else isn't cleaned, look around, and notice all the other spots that aren't wiped down. So gross.“

“We came to Paragon Bar and Grill for brunch right after my daughter’s graduation from CSUN. I found the place through a quick internet search and didn’t really know what to expect, but I was able to make a reservation online for a party of 13 with no issue. Our reservation was right when they opened at 11am on a Sunday, so we pretty much had the place to ourselves—just a couple of people at the bar. The space definitely leans more bar than grill, but it worked well for our group. Very low-key and relaxed. The menu had plenty of options, which was great since we had a few picky eaters. Everyone found something they liked, and the food was excellent across the board. The service stood out—friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. We didn’t order many drinks, but even so, I was surprised at how reasonable the bill was for such a large group. Only downside: the bathroom could use a refresh. It’s what you’d expect in a neighborhood bar—functional but not the highlight of the visit. Would absolutely go back. Great experience overall, and I really appreciate the staff for helping make the day special.“

“Valley Inn is a dining icon, providing the last-century vibes and more classic cuisine. If you're into trendy, don't come here. The roast duckling is divine and so is the garlic bread. Bbq ribs and clam chowder are good, too. They do great burgers, too. But really, it's a comfort hub, with comfy booths and consistent cuisine. The bar is always hopping with a 50s and up crowd.“

“We walked over here for just a glass of wine and a late night snack. I can’t speak to the whole menu. We had a few glasses of wine and the calamari and we’re not disappointed. We ran into the most interesting people and love the entire vibe of this old school restaurant. We will definitely be back to try the full menu since the whole restaurant feels like a hug from the 70s. Every last person we ran into from the restaurant was super friendly and the service is absolutely on point. If the dinner service is anything like the service we got at the bar I’m sure it will be amazing.“

“Service is always slow and the servers are rude. It feels like you are bothering them when you ask for anything. A soda refill takes forever, unlimited salad refills are great in theory but you can never catch anyone to ask for a salad refill! When someone finally shows up, it's seems like they are doing you a favor instead of doing their job. We love the food here but don't come as often as we want to because for $175 meal we feel the service has to be better.“

“We’re been going to Gus’s BBQ a long time, but recently, their brisket has become STUPENDOUS. It was always good, but oh my... I’ve had brisket all over and this is as good as brisket gets. On a pandemic note... usually when ordering take-out, something goes wrong. A missing side, etc. Not here. Each order has been perfectly accurate. Thank you, Gus’s. Our favorite.“

“When we arrived a large party, with lots of noisy kids, were preparing to leave. However, it took them a while, so it was noisy and chaotic. But, when they left we really enjoyed the peace and quiet of the outdoor patio. You never believe you're sitting next to the very busy parking lot. Kevin was our waiter, again. He was very apologetic for the chaos and, as on previous occasions, very friendly and efficient. My friend wasn't hungry, so she only ate 1/2 of her 1/2 roasted beet salad. She did enjoy it and took the rest to go. I had my usual pasta with goat cheese and marinara sauce. I was hungry and ate my entire dish, whereas I normally take half to go. It was delicious, of course. Overall, we had a nice lunch and catch up. I'll be back.“

The food would have been only a few dollars more than fast food , but it was far better as to exactly cooking to the asked for point of good grade Angus beef. Waiters were often checking our satisfaction and getting any items quickly. I was told by my friends that they had tipped deciently. I still slipped an additional decent tip to our waiter out of gratitude for good service.“

“Came in for a drink and to check out the area since we are new to the area. The place was kind of small and majority of the people inside were older. The tables had all the dirty cups on there and were still there when we were leaving. We ordered double shots of tequila and a few micheladas. We saw people eating McDonalds in there. They have darts to play and the music was nice,“

“I’ve been going to el Torito to since I was young because my mom loves the restaurant ! And so do I. The food is consistently good and I’ve tried many different dishes. This time I got the burrito especial which was delicious! The tortilla had an enchilada sauce on it that was very flavorful and good. I very much enjoyed it! But portion also so I ended up taking half home. My aunt got the chicken and sour cream enchiladas and my mom got the sizzling enchiladas. They both thoroughly enjoyed their meals. The sizzling enchiladas were surprisingly light but flavorful and my mom was able to eat both of hers.“
