“I have been looking for quinoa all over LA. This place serves it and it is very good. The mix has just the right amount of dried sweet cranberries and a few chickpeas. It was perfect. I had a salad with tuna avocado and egg salad. I was able to sub the egg salad for tuna which was very nice of them. They gave me a fork full of a mayonnaise free tuna they had prepared on the way out which again was a great experience. This is the kind of place that you feel cares and you'd want to keep going back to. A+++“

“I have been going to Porto's since the 1980's..the one in Glendale. How elated I was with having them being in Northridge where I live. The food is terrific and the lines go fast due to a tremendous quick system they have. The catering for parties has never let us down and people you have invited that never have experienced Portos are thrilled. The cakes are delicious. What I do miss is not having the individual cake slices for purchase so you can experience the taste. They only have the neapolitan, Parisian, and carrot for slices. I've seen the menu change over time and do miss some of the items.“

“The building itself is a work of art. The outdoor landscape is also carefully designed. There are so many exhibits that you need to have enough time to explore. You can also start from the West Pavilion, where you can see more familiar works. This is an art museum worth visiting many times.“

I parked in the adjacent parking garage for free. Enter through the lobby doors at the back. The parking lot is for employees. You can't miss you are in the right place, the aromas are amazing! “I've been stopping here a couple times a week for breakfast or lunch. Probably ordered here about 30 or 40 times now. The sweet lady that runs the shop has always been so kind and friendly, no matter how busy she is! The food is always great, and she never forgets the napkins/utensils.

Although I haven't gotten anything here I didn't enjoy, out of everything I MUST recommend you try the yogurt parfait. I don't even like sweetened yogurt cups, but this homemade yogurt is better than anything I've ever tried. It's SO good, I start to crave some after a couple weeks without it. It's heavenly.

We had a delicious bacon, egg, & cheese croissant made to order as well as apple fritters with the right amount of crispness and apples AND a bear claw that ended up being stuffed with cinnamon apples. Nice people. Also locals sitting & eating when I arrived. A line formed a few times while there which showed that others were just as excited about this spot, but all quickly received their food & coffee.“

“Such a great café! I was super happy with the service — everyone was so friendly and welcoming. We tried the salmon poke bites and the popcorn chicken, and both were seriously so good! Everything was super fresh and flavorful.

We also got the crème brûlée matcha, and it was amazing — perfectly sweet and creamy. I love the interior and seating here too — it’s such a cute spot with plenty of space and outlets, which makes it perfect for working or studying. The vibe is super cozy and relaxed. They have a good selection of bottled and canned drinks, including fresh made vegetable and fruit drinks. I highly recommend this local small business over Dunkin' or Winchell's. I usually get the #1 breakfast sandwich, ham egg cheese on a croissant but I sub the ham with turkey.“
