“Just happened on this place by doing map search for restaurants while in Watsonville. It was magical! Beautiful buildings & gardens. We are on the heated patio & just loved it. Excellent food: ribeye, & steak & lobster. Delish wedge salad too. Took the dessert home & enjoyed that too; the accompanying ice cream was the best. Very lovely experience.”

“The food here makes my eyes roll back in my head and makes me moan while I eat it. It’s bonkers how good everything is. Bagels and pizza and seasonal items are off the charts. And the staff are lovely. Don’t hesitate! You will love it. The farmers market is a favorite of mine. Pizzas are off the hook too. And I love the golden milk from the coffee stand! The only complaint is I want them to be open longer!”

“I ordered a smaller catering order for my husbands birthday and Taquizas Gabriel did not disappoint! He was happy to help and cater even for a smaller party (I ordered 2, 15 taco trays: 1 shrimp 1 pastor with chips/salsa/peppers/onions) which I was super grateful! The tacos were so fresh and so flavorful and the customer service was wonderful! Made it so easy for me for that day and I’m so grateful! If you need tacos for dinner tonight or for a party, I’d highly recommend getting them from here! My favorite tacos on this side of Santa Cruz/Capitola!”

“My Thai is under new management/owners, a husband and wife team and they are amazing! They are both friendly and fun and really know how to cook.

We ordered the Pad See Ew and Pad Thai with crispy chicken and both were DELICIOUS!!! We had a long pause in conversation cause the food was so good. Then we had mango sticky rice with coconut ice cream for desert, it was perfect. Also plating was lovely and we didn’t wait long for our food.

I can’t wait to go back and I’m so happy to have an incredible Thai restaurant in the neighborhood!

Highly recommend, planning to go back asap and I’m definitely going to bring friends and family when they are in town.”

I took half home to my wife so she could see how good it tastes—we haven’t found any restaurants around Monterey area that serve good banh mi, so we’re going to be coming back.”

“Fun, bustling, cafateria style bakery, (with a huge selection of bakery items) coffee and breafast spot. Pricey, which is expected in this local. Pastries were Excellent. Had the enchilada. It was very good. An 8.5/10 for my palet. Coffee was very good. Not Great. Would definitely drop in again when visiting.”

It is a small restaurant which makes for nice ambience. I had the linguine and clams and the sauce was spot on! Also a great number of clams to go with it. The Tiramisu oh my it was heaven on earth! You can not go wrong here probably the best Italian food in Santa Cruz County.”

“Hosted my daughter’s birthday at this great venue. Cathy was an attentive and organized one woman show— doing food and wine orders. All of us relaxed and enjoyed ourselves for a few hours. “Delicious! We ordered the breakfast burrito, 2 banana and Nutella crepes, 1 Parisian lemon crepe and 1 strawberry cream crepe. Everything was delicious! There were plenty of bananas and strawberries inside the pancake and lots of cream on the side. I definitely recommend this place.”

We found a table tucked outside which was nice, but you're crowded with Zelda folks coming and going. Inside seating is fine, but you're on the beach - would be nice to have more outside seating.

“I have been coming here for 22 years. The wine and the experience is amazing. The facility also has a beautiful deck over looking the Soquel Creek. The hospitality manager Christopher has provided amazing customer service, is extremely knowledgeable on all things wine and always makes you feel welcome. Madelin is really wonderful as well. I highly recommend this amazing tasting room.”

“We live just up the street and finally came in for the first time. My Son and I had the chicken pesto and the chicken apple Brie Sandos. Food was BOMB delicious. The peanut sauce that accompanied the fresh rolls was delicious. However, the soup was quite lacking in tofu and vegetables, as it was mostly broth. Flavors were good, so I would definitely come back for dinner, but would not get the soup again.”

“I never write reviews for places but this chilis deserves one. I don’t come here too often but when i do come here my experience is a 10/10. Our waiter who has served us the last few times- his name is Sam, is truly an angel on earth. He is so kind, patient, and his customer service is among the best i’ve seen in any restaurant. He was so kind to my partner and I and he helped us so much by answering any questions we had and having just a super helpful and caring attitude. In regards to the food, also 10/10. The cooks deserve some serious appreciation because for the first time in a long time I was trying to eat past full because it was so good haha. The atmosphere here is also super nice, the music isn’t too loud and there’s lots of open natural light. Thank you for a wonderful meal and experience!”
