“Poke Etc is a good choice for poke lovers! The prices are on the lower side, but the quality is definitely on the higher end. The ingredients are always fresh, and there are plenty of ready options to choose from. The service could use some improvement, but overall, it’s still a great place to visit for a satisfying meal.“

They don't have the original Red Rooster Siracha anymore .. bummer.“

“Been here a few times. The poke is very delicious, and you get a good portion. I just wish they had better parking and somehow have a shorter line. Unfortunately, I tried to stop here a couple times for lunch since my first couple visits and I had to go somewhere else because I just didn’t have time to wait in the line. It’s great it’s popular. “For a small cafe, this place is great with quick service and good food. My go to order is usually the Pokerito (Sushi Burrito wrapped in Nori). I usually order it with the Salmon Spicy Mayo. I've also had the Chicken Adobo Plate, Loco Moco, BBQ Pork Belly plate, grilled Salmon and Bone in Beef ribs (the larger ones) with mac salad and rice to die for. Flavors are consistent and I like the way they season the Mac salad.“

It is a hole in the wall type place with Hawaiian style poke & other Hawaiian dishes.
I had the sweet & spicy ahi and salmon combination with rice, and it was excellent, in my opinion. Also, the service was quick and really friendly.

“So the brother at the front counter, his name is Joel and he was extremely awesome and very helpful and helping me pick out what I wanted and his customer service was awesome. I really appreciated his care of detail and he made me feel just at home restaurant is very clean very Ohana and very well-maintained. They had a lot of good selection of meats, sides and drinks as well and I got a half-and-half, pineapple, chicken and lava Katsu chicken with Mac and veggies. It tastes so freaking good. It was awesome and they give you a lot of options on sauces as well but yeah, I recommend this place if you want real good authentic Hawaiian food so yeah it was a 10 out of 10 and I definitely recommend this location without a doubt, aloha and Mahalo.“

And you could taste so many layered flavors and not just the spice! I thought it was EXCELLENT. Also loved the side of avocado mac salad. “It was good. I really enjoyed my poke bowl, and so did my asian mother who actualy doesn’t enjoy very much of anything not Chinese. My mother was kicking and screaming when I suggested the hanger. She was originally going to go somewhere else but I was very surprised when she brought a poke bowl back to our table. And she liked it. I ate a large, ate a half of a bowl, and brought the rest home. Put it in the fridge and took it out and just ate it and it was good! Some places the rice and other stuff isn’t good quality anymore, but nope this was just dandy. I got the brown rice, the salmon, albacore, spicy tuna, and octopus. I got most of everything. Got the asian sauce and the spicy mayo. I am accustomed to having poke bowls not as often but sometimes. But for my mother who I didn’t think would like it, to like it thats pretty good. It was her first time eating a poke bowl too.“

Because it was our first time, we got complimentary chili - definitely see why it’s 7 times award winning! Very flavorful and just the right amount of spice. The staff is incredibly kind and welcoming, and very accommodating to make sure our order is to our liking. We had 2 bento boxes, Kaula pork and bbq pork. The portion sizes were perfect and the meat was very flavorful. The sides of macaroni and cucumber salad were just as good. We also had one of their many specials of the day, fish tacos, which were incredibly fresh and simple, exactly what I want for fish tacos. Next time we’re visiting LA, we’ll be sure to be back!“

“Normally great food/service. Not today. I specifically asked for the sweet/sour sauce for my 6 piece order of Rangoons. What I got 6 packets of hot sauce.
While Normally very clean, I watched as one employee stood on a chair to clean the top of the canned beverage cooler and then stood on a seating bench to clean. She did NOT wipe off the seats she was standing on.“

“I love this place. I go almost at least once a week. The employees are wonderful. I have never had a bad or sad poke bowl. Everything is fresh. Trying to stay on the healthy side, I order small scoop of rice and all the sides they offer except for wasabi. My eyes are bigger than my stomach, but I have always restrain from getting the large. Two scoops of protein, which consist of tuna and salmon. A lovely alternative to fast foods. I highly recommend Mono Poke!“
