“I've been going here for a number of years. Even before the pandemic. The food has been consistently good, with the exception of the height of the pandemic.
On other platforms, this place isn't rated high however this place for dim sum is always packed. This says wonders about the other sites.
Today's visit for dim sum was just like the other times. Place was packed and there was a wait of 20 mins. The service was okay and the food was good. Parking wasn't an issue as there were plenty.
This is a go-to spot for dim sum for sure.“

“Old school dim sum. Good prices. First time here, but have eaten dim sum for a long time. Items ordered: Gai lan, BBQ pork buns baked, pan fried shrimp and chive dumplings, rice roll filled with BBQ pork, Shanghai dumplings. Tasty food. An option we chose was a tea service at the table (<$6), worth it. I saw some remarkable dishes that I will be returning to taste.
It was packed with people and even more in another dining room (mostly Asian people, although there were some Latin, Black and White people as well).
This place is family run and demonstrates that they want to be above your average hole in the wall dim sum house for the inside: fancy curtains, nice chairs, and stage for entertainment, the outside needs some TLC. Good alternative if you don’t want to deal with Chinatown congestion.“

“Great food here. We got pork soup dumplings and crab pork. We preferred the pork ones.
We also tried the scallion pancake and dried noodles with beef (regular cut) and they both wowed us!! The beef portions were enough for 3 of us to share.
Only feedback is the restaurant door opens and closes a lot and there are frequent smokers outside which made for an unpleasant dining experience.“

“I think I been there before and I actually stop by this month. The location is somewhat interesting ( away from freeway and next to residential / business area). The area plenty of parking and it is next to a supermarket.
Just a side note that they do take one hour lunch break I think it’s from 2-3 pm something like that. The time I went was after their lunch break and there are too many things to choose from. The order was quick and waiting for the food order take a bit time.
Overall the food is good and portion is decent. I don’t live near there so for me it’s just trying once in a while when I will be around that area.“

“The food is quite authentic. I've went there multiple times and the dishes are very consistent. Decent taste, not too much flavor. Just right. Price is relatively affordable too if you are eating with multiple people. I would recommend this place to others.“

“Oh man oh man! I found another hand-pulled noodles place close to home! Score!! Woohoo! Right next to 99 Ranch market and close to the freeway.
My co-workers have been talking about this place back in the day. I have been going here with my family for years and took many friends as well. This location has changed from many different places and Bings’s seems to have stayed over seven years now! Good sign! I like their open space dining set up where the kitchen is open and you can see them make their dumplings and noodles...ooo lala!!
Their menu is very simple and everything is now below $19. Price inflation but some are reasonable. Go figure! Very good portions though. You can taste the difference. Had their spicy and regular beef braised noodle soup. Meat was tender and the noodles are soft! You can tell the noodles are made fresh. Also, I like their wonton noodle soup. All broth soups are very good. Spicy was not really spicy to me though so I had to added more spice! Haha Their Hot Oil-Seared (dry) Noodles with minced pork is also very good. Their wonton in Chili Oil is good as well. I also get their pork soup dumplings. Everything they make are pretty good! The dumpling wrap is not too thick and lots of meat inside. You need to learn to eat with chop sticks and soup spoon to drink the soup from the dumplings! Also, you have to make the right sauce to dip this in. They don’t offer free tea anymore. It’s only 50cents but It’s good.
My fave place when I am craving spicy dry noodles or beef braised noodle soup. I just wish they added more bok choy for more veggies for a balance.
Very surprising their service is still pretty good, friendly and attentive. Seems they are a family business. They speak pretty good English, too. We are regulars here! So this means I totally recommend this place!“

“My daughter came home for vacation and she wanted to have dimsum at our favorite place Saigon Harbor Seafood in Newark, but it's closed indefinitely. We wanted to try a new place and we found this one on Yelp. It's in the place of a Korean restaurant years ago when the kids were little. It's a very small restaurant, the parking is limited in a small shopping center, but on SAT it wasn't crowded so we found a parking spot.
It's small, clean, but not airy as the big restaurant. My daughter using the iPhone App and the food came out quite quickly. This is a family owned restaurant so the mom serves for everyone, quite effective.
We ordered the usual, xiu mai, beef rice crepe, chicken feet, beancurd wrapped, soup dumplings, fried gyoza, some tripes that my daughter likes. There's no meatballs that my son likes.
The chicken feet are up to par with others, very tasty and cooked perfectly. The beef rice crepes are good and soft, the beancurd wrapped has too much cornstarch, sauce is too thick although the taste is there, didn't look good. The soup dumplings are bland, not very delicious as other restaurants. The tripes are good. My son ate all the fried Gyoza and he said it's OK. The xiu mai wasn't full flavored and not fresh.
I'm not sure if this is a cantonese restaurant or mandarin. It seems like a mixed one. To me the Cantonese restaurant has the best dim sum. Mandarin or chinese mainland has the best soup dumplings.
Anyhow, it's OK for me, but the kids didn't like it much.
The prices are very reasonable.“
“This place is hopping, even on weekdays! I’m so glad to see a business doing well in this spot by the San Lorenzo post office. Of course, I had to try chang fen! I opted for the BBQ pork and dried shrimp combo for the filling, and I added scallions for a small upcharge. Most of the dishes offer several modification options. I was slightly worried that the dried shrimp flavor would be overwhelming, but it dissolved well into the soy-based sauce. The barbecue flavor was sweet but slightly smoky. I appreciated the vegetal zing the scallions brought to the dish. Do add some of the mild, yet lively, vinegar sauce on the table. The chile sauce also deserves a shout-out.
Great steamed walnut buns, and I also enjoyed the Liwan congee, but I think the simpler chicken or beef is what I'll opt for next time.“

“It’s my first visit here. I loved the rice casserole and the fried pork ribs. The rice casserole was very authentic and delicious, just like the best ones I had in China.
The place was clean and the service was great. The manager answered my questions and when she saw there’s oil on my hands, she got me a paper napkin before I asked. I was very grateful!“

“Excellent Cantonese style dishes that are prepared quickly. The salt & pepper pork chops were especially good. Eggplant was a little too oily and seafood in XO sauce was rather mild (menu said "spicy"). If they could pay more attention to service, this place would be 5 stars.“

“Take out or Delivery app only.
This little shop is great. Food is fresh, delicious, and plentiful. do Kinda wish they had a lunch-box meal where it's a half portion of their rice meal with a drink (I feel like I need a nap)“

“Food is very good. However, I rather they told me the truth instead of steering me into something else. It appeared that they don't have 2 lbs or more lobsters. So, they BS about 2 one lb lobsters would provide better meat quantity and that the meat in a 2 lb lobsters would be tougher. You will get more shell and more elbow joints that are difficult to handle. Instead, just order something else. Anyhow, the lobsters over noodles were nicely cooked and were extremely tasty. So were the surf clams over cellophane noodles. The rest of the dishes were also good except for the salt and pepper pork chops. They were tasty but the chops used were too thick. Desserts were not warm/hot enough.
Service was generally good. Near the end, the waiters were, as if by concerted efforts, ignoring our wavings to get our teapots filled.
The tables were not too jam-packed as other Chinese restaurants.“

“3/4/2024 1 pm:Price is perfect and quality is even more perfect. You will not believe how fresh all of the food is, for the price you are paying. I bought 2 dumplings, 4 buns, 2 spring rolls, and 2 entree plates packed with food for $40. If you They have a HUGE variety of specialty dumplings and dim sum. When we were finished with our lunch, we went back to buy more for later. Again I cannot stress the quality of ALL of it.5/5 food with great service too.I’ll be coming back frequently when I’m in the area.P.S the sauce for the steamed pork and Napa cabbage dumpling was phenomenal.“
