“Serving absolutely hot, fresh and oversized dim sum of all kinds, this place, arguably in the middle of nowhere, (at least to me) in Windsor Square in San Lorenzo, serves up the best dim sum I've had in the East Bay hands down! The Har Gao (shrimp) was gigantic, fresh tender and tasty, and the Shu Mai (pork) was almost as big as my fist, the pan fried pork buns Char siu buns) were off the chart delicious, and the bean paste ball was crispy and hot.
This is just a whole other level of dim sum quality in the East Bay and I cannot recommend it highly enough. Most people are getting takeout but there are a couple of little tables there in case you want to eat on site which I did.“

“I've been going here for a number of years. Even before the pandemic. The food has been consistently good, with the exception of the height of the pandemic.
On other platforms, this place isn't rated high however this place for dim sum is always packed. This says wonders about the other sites.
Today's visit for dim sum was just like the other times. Place was packed and there was a wait of 20 mins. The service was okay and the food was good. Parking wasn't an issue as there were plenty.
This is a go-to spot for dim sum for sure.“

“Took family for Dim Sum and enjoyed our lunch. We ordered “Fu-Jian” fried rice, Siu-Mai, Ha-Gao (Shrimp dumpling), chicken feet, steamed fish ball, BBQ buns & “Sa-Wong”. All food are delicious, tasty, fresh & hot. We loved the Sa-Wong as it is Chinese donut with custard inside. Also, we loved the quality of tea provided which is authentic and best around Bay Area among restaurant.“

“It’s been ages since we’ve been here when it was King Kong. It isn’t as buzzing as before and in fact they’re much quieter. But that’s perfect for us, came in for a late lunch on a Saturday and there were only a couple other tables. So we got seated and served right away! Can’t find that at most good dim sum joints.Got the e-noodles with seafood in XO sauce as the main dish, and some dim sum dishes like the shrimp dumplings, durian puff, bean curd wrap etc. All came out quickly and were very good!Parking is tricky as there’s only the front lot on this stretch of the street. So at peak hours you might have to park a couple blocks away or in the nearby neighborhood. Still a good option and we’ll come back soon!“

“I love this spot for a comforting dinner. I’ve tried a handful of things, but I always find myself coming back to the spicy pork noodle and the xiao long bao, of course.
The noodles are delightfully chewy and have a good homemade texture, and the pork adds heaps of flavor to the dish. I don’t find it to be very spicy, which I enjoy. The xlb has a much more home style flavor and texture as compared to other higher end restaurants one might go to. They’re full of flavorful soup, and coupled with some ginger and chili oil you get an unbeatable bite.
Staff is friendly and the whole place feels like a mom and pop. I’ve never had an issue getting parking, and getting a table is usually quick.“

“There's not many clay pot rice places around the area, but this is a pretty solid one. One of my favorite ones was The Chinese sausage one! It's got a good amount of meat and they did a good job not making the rice stick onto the pot too much which can be easily done if over cooked. There is also congee as well as yu choy for order as well if you're not interested in the main dishes. They also starred out with some pickled vegetables which was a nice touch. I recommend where you're eating a clay pot that You share with two people for the regular size as you might have leftovers if you're eating by yourself, Just ordering the bigger size will just add extra leftovers or if you have four or six people. The ambiance is also pretty nice too with a very large painting on one of the walls and decorative ceiling tiles! The furniture and tables don't look to have too much wear and they look pretty recent too. Waiters were mostly focused on cleaning up after a table, but they did refill water when stopped for and asked. Overall, it's just a solid place to get this type of dish with not too much fuss when ordering!
Parking: Parking might be a little bit difficult but keep searching, you might find one...“

“Good dim sum and won ton soup. A 4 only because this is first visit and want to try more dishes. Shrimp dumplings are nice and large, delivered piping hot to the table. The shrimp filling is perfect. Vegetable dumpling is nice ( sorry the shrimp was sooo good). Chicken won ton soup also very good. Nice broth. We shall return“

“Excellent Cantonese style dishes that are prepared quickly. The salt & pepper pork chops were especially good. Eggplant was a little too oily and seafood in XO sauce was rather mild (menu said "spicy"). If they could pay more attention to service, this place would be 5 stars.“

“I really like the food and service from here. I usually get the chicken fried rice, which is consistently good. The packaging is reusable which is amazing, and they are always super nice when i come in, letting me know how long until my food is ready (i order online) which is usually earlier than what is said online. The hot sauce is absolutely delicious also!!“

“Incredible spontaneous stop on our bike ride around the Bay Area. The owner was enthusiastically hospitable, setting us up with a selection of pastries and dumplings, and moving chairs outside so we could sit with our bikes. The pork rib bun was one of the best things we ate on our whole trip. Highly recommend.“

“Portions of food are big, and it taste great. The gentleman at the register is polite and friendly…. Great customer service!
Servers did an extra mile too by giving what I asked for (a small portion of evaporated milk for my mango pudding). I didn’t want to sound demanding. Sorry.“

“3/4/2024 1 pm:Price is perfect and quality is even more perfect. You will not believe how fresh all of the food is, for the price you are paying. I bought 2 dumplings, 4 buns, 2 spring rolls, and 2 entree plates packed with food for $40. If you They have a HUGE variety of specialty dumplings and dim sum. When we were finished with our lunch, we went back to buy more for later.
