“My boyfriend and I were craving fish and chips on our drive down the 1 back in August, but most restaurants were either out of the way or on the pricy side, until we found the Giant Artichoke. We didn’t expect the fish and chips to be some of the best we had ever had given they have an artichoke centered menu. Let’s just say I STILL think about this restaurant six months later despite living eight hours away! I will definitely be stopping by next time I find myself on the 1.“

“Super friendly, cozy little family café. Really good lunches and breakfasts, staff is a father, daughter and son-in-law, all care about the place the food, and the customers. They treat everyone like family. The day I was there they were playing Christian rock the whole time, but somehow with the amount of love and kindness exhibited by the Cafe community, that it was not really my thing didn't bother me at all. It was still happy and friendly music. Good coffee, good food, clean restrooms, good wifi, excellent care of people.“

“I researched bakeries and found this sweet shop online before traveling to Moss Landing and had wanted to check it out. Then I found out it was literally next door to the Inn we were staying at so now it was a definite must to go here. Plus it was my birthday weekend so perfect place to pick up some birthday treats. On our vacation and on a Sunday my husband and I strolled over to the shop (very short walk) around 11 am and there was no wait at all. The lady behind the counter greeted us right away and was very friendly & nice to us. She was also very helpful and answered all our questions about her baked goods. We purchased half a dozen cookies to go - to take home to the family and half a dozen for ourselves to enjoy. We selected oatmeal, snickerdoodle, red velvet, triple chocolate, mint chocolate chip, chocolate chip's, white chocolate macadamia, butterscotch toffee, and m&m chocolate chip... and ALL OF THEM WERE SO GOOD!! I also ordered the lemon bar that was absolutely scrumptious plus a mini strawberry cake in a cup (to put a candle in for my birthday and enjoy). We took our treats to a nearby beach and had a little dessert picnic. It was taking sweet moments to a whole other level!! Just pure taste buds bliss. All of the baked goods are freshly baked, super soft & delightful. There is a lot of options to choose from... so if your in the area or just cruising by on hwy 1 we really recommend you drop by. You won't regret it... and if you can't eat your dessert right then she can pack it all up for you very neatly & securely.P.S. there is also lots of ice cream options if you want as well. Fantastic dessert shop!! We look forward to coming back someday when in the area.“

“Noodle House is one of my favorite spots in Salinas. We have been coming here since 2011, when we first moved to the area. Their pho is among the best I've had, and I never get anything else. The service is great; everyone is friendly and attentive. Definitely recommend!“

“Lunch plates are good values. I tries the combo with spring rolls. The spring rolls were a disappointment. Of you're set on the combo, maybe the pan fried potstickers will be better. I had the green curry with chicken as the main. I forgot to specify the spice level so was prepared to get it mild. Fortunately there was enough of a tingle to satisfy me. I will be returning to try their pad kra pao next.“

“Came here on the recommendation of our hotel concierge as we were going to elkhorn slough. Great recommendation! Had the eggs benedict with skirt steak, and it was delicious. Buttermilk pancakes for my daughter were fantastic, and my wife had Dave's omelette and loved it. Overall I would come back here again and again, but do not live close enough, so it may just be today and again tomorrow. Then I'll have to wait for my next trip down highway 1.“

“First time here with my 3 daughters and husband. The buffet was packed and we randomly decided to eat here instead. Customer service is great. Very nice, attentive, and polite people. The place was clean. The food was very tasty. I really enjoyed, their Kung pao chicken, fried rice with shrimp, chow mein, wonton soup, and pot stickers. We ordered one of the family deals for 3 and there was more than enough food. We had lots of leftover food to take home ?. Prices are affordable. We all enjoyed our meal. We will definitely be back.“

“Been here twice got the same thing both times (Belair). Just wow. Perfection delicious. Not sure why its not busy 100% of the time. First time I went theres were like 3 or 4 other customers. Today it was just me but I saw what looked like some to go bags for likely other customers. If you're looking for a delicious sandwich don't look any further. I wanted to take pics of my whole sandwich but I finished half of it before i got back to work lol. So fresh n tasty/satisfying.“

“Nice to have a Korean place in Marina. Everything was good. My favorite was the beef soup and the kalbi. Ramen tofu soup is not worth the price. It's instant ramen noodles with some tofu. We will go again! It was busy on a Sunday night and only 2 people handling the tables. There was some waiting.“

I just walk up to the counter, am quickly greeted and handed my food. It's always piping hot! I try not to eat fast food. Chipotle, and now this place, are my go to places for a quick meal. I like the chicken teriyaki, the sauce is really good. The sticky brown rice and veggies are delicious. The veggies aren't soggy, and usually more al dente. I feel less guilty about calories when I order from here. I'm glad I returned to this place, as it seems to have improved a lot from my first experience.“

“We were craving some Asian food during our stay in town and I'm glad we found this place. The food tasted fresh and delicious, service was spot on. My favorite dish was walnut shrimp and salt pepper fish. Portions were surprisingly big too. This place exceeded my expectations and I would highly recommend it.“

“I've been here a couple times and I'm glad I found them. I think I saw them on a youtube video on "must see" places to check out. The first time we came w got the cheesy garlic bread which was very good and they didn't skimp on the cheese. The artichoke soup was amazing. It has a couple pieces of artichoke, cream based broth. I got the linguini and clams. They definitely don't skimp on the clams... you get our monies worth for sure. My mom got the chicken parm and kept having to stop herself from eating it all because she wanted to take some home to make a sandwich later.“
