“Great experience sitting outside. The waiter walked by every 2 minutes helping and serving other customers so I was able to easily flag him down when I needed something. He was kind and very attentive. I tipped him $20 for a $60 check. Was glad to do it. We'll definitely be back.“

“I enjoyed a wonderful experience at Farm in Palm Springs for an early Mother's Day dinner. We had delightful three hour six course dinner in a magical setting with live music and delicious fare. PROS: The hostesses graciously greeted us and sat us a bit earlier than our reservation time. Had a nice table in one of the rooms with a fireplace and a large mirror. The saxophonist played and the sound poured in with great acoustics from the speakers. The amuse bouch had avocado, so I could not eat it, so my mom enjoyed all two. My dad could not eat solid foods due to mouth surgery. The bread course had warm fresh items and silky salty butter. The beet salad, melon salad, and corn soup provided earthy, tart, sweet, and creamy bites and tastes. The varied textures provided a kaleidescope of fresh tastes. The baked brie offered sweet and savory mixes of grilled bread, pear, and date spread! The lemon sorbet palate cleanser provided a balanced experience that did its job. The salmon entree provided an exquisitely pan fried crispy and juicy flaky fillet. The creamy dijon mustard sauce complimented the protein perfectly. The sweet peppers offered a wonderful crunch. The swiss chard added some bitter contrast to the garlic potatoes. The wonderfully bitter Citron crepe provided a nice end to a culinary cruise. Crystal took great photos in the garden. Gilbert was professional and affable. CONS: They asked me so many times for extra drinks. I had to prompt them multiple times to fill the water glasses and refills on tea and diet coke. They charged me full price for mashed potatoes, soup, and sorbet for my dad's meal. I get it. OVERALL: I highly recommend this restaurant for a magical evening meal inspired by Provence, France.“

“We love this place and eat here a few times a week! Its close and convenient and always consistently good! There's a lot of meh cafes in the desert. Same stuff. Same sandwiches, salads, egg dishes, pretty boring fare but this place cranks out DELICIOUS food! And the people who work there are really attentive and NICE! BEST chicken Pozole around! Really good chilaquiles and pancakes! GREAT value!“

“I was just invited for my Birthday Afternoon Tea Celebration at this wonderful venue! Everything was perfect..The food, the atmosphere, the staff and Willie himself! The attention to detail was much appreciated. Lovely tea service, the live harp music, beautifully presented food. Our waiter made sure our yummy Vanilla Earl Grey Tea was always refreshed and hot. “Dear Escena Management I am writing to formally request a refund for the golfing fees paid for my recent visit to Escena golf course on May 4th 2024. Upon booking, I was led to believe, based on the descriptions and images presented on your website, that your course offered premium facilities and conditions. Regrettably, my experience did not meet these expectations. The condition of both the fairways and greens was notably poor and not reflective of the high standard promoted online. Additionally, the level of noise from constant overhead airplane traffic significantly detracted from the experience, further compounded by an exceedingly slow pace of play throughout the day. I have also noticed a number of overly positive reviews on your website and various social media platforms, which seem inconsistent with my experience and potentially misleading to other customers. This disparity raises concerns regarding the authenticity of those reviews and suggests a possible deceptive practice that I believe warrants further investigation. Given these issues, I feel that the quality of the course and the overall experience did not justify the prepayment of $166 per person. Therefore, I kindly request a full refund of the fees paid. I believe this request is reasonable under the circumstances and aligns with fair trading practices. Please let me know how we can facilitate this refund. I am hopeful for a swift resolution to this matter. Thank you for your attention to this request. I look forward to your prompt response.“

“Keedy’s Diner is the perfect classic breakfast spot in Palm Springs. I ordered eggs with bacon and hash browns, plus a side of pancakes, and everything hit the spot. The eggs were cooked just right, the bacon was crispy and flavorful, and the hash browns had that perfect golden crunch on the outside while staying soft inside.

The pancakes were fluffy, buttery, and easily some of the best I’ve had at a diner — they came out hot and fresh, the kind you can tell are made with care.

On top of the great food, the diner has that old-school charm and welcoming vibe that makes you feel right at home. Service was friendly and fast, and the whole experience felt genuine and classic.

The waffles and French toast were not too good, dry and overseasoned. The rest was good though. For a quick large meal, it was worth it.“

“Selected this property for a short stay in the desert. I had seen mixed reviews since COVID but my personal experience was very positive. Received an incredibly warm welcome from Luke at the Front Desk. He could not have been more gracious and helpful. He even walked us to our room [#302]. As a Marriott Bonvoy Titanium member I was very grateful that my suite upgrade request had cleared. The room was spacious and well laid out. There was a queen bed and a separate sofabed [no mention of this on the website though]. Two negatives included a lot of noise from the outside street [Indian Canyon Drive is a very busy road] also the bathroom really smelled whenever we took a shower.. the drains clearly need to be cleaned out. Everything else was great though...location is awesome...pools are really nice. One piece of advice...the cost of parking is not worth it...we parked on the surrounding streets. Recommend you do the same.“

“Concise Review Great poolside food, drinks, & staff ----- Longer Review We have visited Marriott’s Shadow Ridge in Palm Desert since 2002, and afternoons at the pool, with food and drinks from Chuckwalla Bar & Grill, are a bit part of every trip. One of my all time favorite photos is from a nice afternoon, poolside, several years ago when the kids were little... it was one of our most fun and peaceful afternoons as a family anywhere... the photos is of our daughter, asleep on my wonderful wife, my wonderful wife smiling at me, and our son was on the chair in between us, smiling as he was drinking a strawberry smoothie from Chuckwalla’s... such a blessing. We visited Southern California - Palm Desert, Yucaipa, and Malibu - for Spring Break 2021. This trip we had more activities off-property than usual, so we only got one nice long afternoon at the pool, and RebekahM made it a little extra special. The sun, the water, fun in the pool... and smoothies... such a joy. Before I had a chance to think about it, smoothies were en route from Chuckwalla... strawberry, banana, and alcohol-free pina colada. Rebekah delivered them to us with a big smile and infectiously positive attitude. Rebekah turned the fun up a notch with her dancing and smiling and laughing as she took our orders and delivered to the families around the pool... everyone was extra happy when she was around. Ok so what went great? Everything..... Upon walking in had a conversation with Marvin.... HE HAS THE BIGGEST SMILE BY THE WAY AND YOU JUST FEEL HIS PERSONABLE ENERGY..........

We had Christian as our server.... By the way just as a side not I feel it is important to know ur audience to understand the correct pairing on the staff/client relationship and THEY NAILED IT!!!!! Christian was very polite, GREAT attitude, great small talk (congrats on 4 yrs and he brags about the staff he works with---- this speaks HIGH volumes of management).

It was a delight to have Marvin, Christian and the other staff members willing to take pics of us because my sister and I are a part of the Foodie group & promote the restaurants this way!!!

The ambiance absolutely gorgeous. I do have a suggestion though .... the lights in the pool can be a cool energy Lavender color and I believe that will complement the lighting and absolutely pop.

The food ---THANK YOU CHEF. So, I ordered WELL DONE (YES, I SAID IT) Filet mignon and not only was it cooked correctly but super tender.

I am definitely glad to be the ONLY person to ever stump Marvin on the question of the salt & pepper shakers!!!! Also, Sara & I are available for design suggestions once items picked out (I have an extended work background in construction & design).

This place is definitely worth it.

“Went to a 5pm fundraiser. Clearly they let an entire restaurant in early. There was not one seat available at 5. It was already maxed out with people wolfing down appetizers and wine with not one seat open. Not Cool. Clearly the good Ole boys got the we will let you in early memo. Too much competition around El Paseo to ever go back.“

“Sad I figured out this place had great breakfast so late in my trip. They had me at Waffle Benedict ? The inside dining atmosphere is what you would expect for a hotel restaurant, but outside is way better. The staff is friendly and many of them have been working there for years!“
