“This place is an old school Korean restaurant but the food is excellent. As someone who recently moved from Koreatown LA to a gateway city, I had to find my go to Korean restaurant and I think this is one of my favorite places. We like to get the Uhndaegoo jorim (braised black cod). Some of our other favorites are the dahk gae jang, as well as the bohtsahm. The atmosphere is very modest and simple, but this is the kind of place that suits me.

I highly recommend this place both for Korean traditionalists as well as non-Koreans who just want some really good quality Korean food.“

“I went there for a banana ? cream pie for my son's birthday party unfortunately they premade the pies and they put walnuts for topping I was hoping they had almonds my son is allergic to walnuts so I had to go to Marie callender's for the pie. Don't get me wrong Carrows have great pies love there apple ? pies“

I would say that this place feels like it runs better than the average IHOP although the location itself is pretty small. The service was better than before, the food was good, and it was overall a decent time. I definitely do not mind coming here if I am in the area.“

“Coffee is really good! The turkish bagel (Simit) is THE best in California!!! We got a turkish breakfast plate, shakshuka, and the cheese omelette and everything was amazing. Great service and the owner is super cute :)

“CASH ONLY. French Toast Combo eggs, bacon $12. That’s unheard of it was delicious service was superb. I just wish there were some signs pointing it was cash only as cash is tight right now. I get it though they can keep the cost down haven’t been to a cash only joint in years.“

“Fire…that’s what my 10yr old granddaughter says to say when things are really cool and delicious. So Firehouse Cafe is Fire 🔥 and I have to say my Chicken Cobb Wrap was off the charts delish!!! It was huge and had to take half of it home. It came with fries and I ordered the seasoned fries that were like a steak fry and cooked to perfection. My mom and Dad eat there all the time and love it. Dad says oatmeal is the best and it looked creamy and came with fruit, brown sugar and raisins. Mom had Cobb salad and it was so huge she couldn’t finish it. Everything was fresh. The waitstaff was so attentive and for being so crowded I was shocked how fast our food came out. We wanted for nothing except a couple of “to go boxes” and that was it. The only and I mean only thing I would say would downgrade a 1/4 star would be it’s a bit noisy when they wash the dishes up front and that is the worst of it and can be over looked cause the food and service are so fire. It’s really great to have a family owned neighborhood breakfast and lunch place that has something for everyone and when you’re there you are treated with kindness and you are really cared about. “Super soft donuts even a day later. Best donuts I've tried in my 45 years of existence. Breakfast burritos filled the three of us unless you are a monster muncher. The tortilla almost seems homemade. The ingredients are fresh and flavorful. The orange juice is freshly squeezed and delicious. Came down from the bay area to try them out. Going back for more. **Update, they open early, so if you are going to Disney, then this place is right down the street, just map it. Always great soft moist donuts. Vietnamese coffee, great and you can ask for it even stronger. Ask for the secret sauce. Low quantities of donuts at 11:00 am.“

“The food was very good. One person had to flag staff down because she ordered a dish which included chicken, there was no chicken in the dish. However, a side of chicken was provided, we wish sauce was also supplied. Once our food arrived to the table, we saw our waitress once. She disappeared, we needed water, napkins. But like I said other than the mishap with the chicken mole the food was great. There was a wait of an hour. Shame on me for having a May 10th birthday. Take it from me this place is worth the wait

“Oh my gosh.... this place is so out of the way that I hadn't noticed it, and by complete accident, we ended up here. It is Amaaaazzzzing!!! I got the lox on an everything bagel... the prices are reasonable, not inexpensive but well worth the money. There is outside seating so bring your dog and have a seat, enjoy your food.“
