“I Had the frog legs, parmesan fries and the Cajun rice. Everything was perfect except the rice. The Cajun rice was a little gummy and some grains of rice were still hard. The atmosphere was quiet and the customer service was wonderful. Reasonable prices were appreciated.“

“Backstory: when my wife and I first started dating we went to a restaurant that coincidentally was called Rue that was also Cajun and was amazing (no pressure). My family and I came to celebrate our 3 yr wedding anniversary. The restaurant definitely gives the nawlins vibe when we walked in, that also looks great as a date spot. Our server was super attentive and was super mindful that when our baby was sleeping he even filled our waters away to reduce the sound which was really thoughtful. We ordered the New Orleans gumbo, fried calamari, Jambalaya, and the Mardi Gras pasta. One previous concern I had previously with Cajun food in California was that it wasnt seasoned well. Well, NO WORRIES HERE! Everything tasted amazing. If you’re looking for authentic Cajun, you’d roux the day for not for visiting!

Service wasn't so great. The atmosphere was nice and somewhat festive. Bathrooms need work. Too much tagging and graphite on the walls... No wait for the table because they don't do reservations so because of that we got there when it opens at 12pm...“

“The dining room atmosphere was really cool⚓️, the music was awesome, and the food was delicious 😋 We ordered the 2 lb cajun garlic shrimp bucket, a bowl of gumbo, garlic fries, and calamari. The bibs and gloves given to us for eating were perfect and necessary for the messy juicy shrimp.🍤 Everything was very tasty and not too spicy. Can’t wait to come back and try some other items on the menu. Thank you for the great service and amazing lunch.😇“

“This is the best place in LA for teriyaki. I got the chicken and beef plate. The sauce is sweet and delicious, the chicken is perfectly grilled with a nice charbroiled flavor, and the beef is tender. Make sure you add the fresh avocados which pair perfectly with the meat and rice. I enjoyed adding the complimentary hot yellow chilies as well.

This is my third visit here and tonight the beef seemed a little bit fattier than usual like it wasn't trimmed enough, but other than that, everything was perfect. I will be back.“

“All of the staff we encountered tonight were so nice. The food came quickly, and tasted great. There was one staff member in particular that went above and beyond. We came with our 4 kids to eat, and the smallest 2 made a couple of messes. He took care of everything and told us not to worry about any of it. If I knew his name I would list it here to give him credit but unfortunately I didn't get that before we left. Overall great place to eat, cozy, and family friendly.“

“The Baseline: For theme park to-go food stands the food must be tasty, have an experience, reliable service, and be a part of the experience.

Food: I love Royal Street in the morning, evening, and even at supper time! I have been here for morning monte cristos and seasonal cold brews and for quick fritter bites in the evening, because this stand has a revolving rotating menu keeping it fresh in offerings. This trip gave me a Buffalo Chicken Beignets Slider opportunity which was awesome. Spicy chicken with slaw between two pillowy beignets… yes… this. Though this is supposed to be available until the end of June 2025, they always have a Monte Cristo-esque type of offering and I suggest you give that a try.

Service: Disney cast member service is always at a 5-star in the parks and today was no different. Got my mobile order quick-n-easy. Also Magic Key discount applies here.

Ambience: Though the Nightmare Before Christmas store will be missed the Jazz club dining area makes up for it in the awesome place I get to eat now. The decor is kid friendly and appropriate to the theme of the area. I can always shop for Nightmare Before Christmas gear at the Haunted Mansion prefab-barn gift shop anyway.“

“We absolutely loved this place!! First time here and it was great, a few things we loved- It was very clean, easily accessible, great/ fresh tasting food, a sink to wash hands in the room, great servers, complementary fries and ice cream. Things for everyone to eat, we had children and a couple picky eaters and we all enjoyed!“

“I had family from out of the country come visit and we took them to Disneyland. I knew I had to take them to this restaurant in the whole park. Now because the trip to Disney was so last minute we did not get reservations. The restaurant took us as a walk in when they opened with a smile on. We still got a great table for our party. We had a picky eater in our group and the restaurant gave us something off the menu to accommodate us. I was blown away by the service and just how kind everyone was to us. At the end of the night I asked my family what was their favorite part of the park and everyone mentioned Blue Bayou. Thank you for making me look like such an amazing tour guide!!!“

“Mlem Mlem Crab is a seafood lover's dream come true! My group and I got a mixture of fresh shrimp, crab, mussels, and crawfish in our boil, which suited everyone's tastebuds! The seafood was cooked to perfection and covered in their delicious signature mlem mlem crab and garlic butter sauce. We also added extra items like sweet corn, boiled eggs, sausages, and tender red potatoes which complemented the seafood and sauce beautifully. I appreciated that I could customize every part of the seafood boil from the spice level of the sauce to the individual items in the boil itself, allowing me and my group to tailor the meal to our tastes.On top of the great food, the ambiance of the restaurant was cozy and inviting, making it an excellent place for a casual dinner with friends. The nautical-themed decor added to the charm and made me feel like I was at a seaside eatery. The service was exceptional as our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and had great recommendations. Overall, I had a great experience at Mlem Mlem and can't wait to come back, sit on their outdoor patio, and enjoy another delicious seafood boil with a group of my friends!“

“Came here with a group of 4 on a Friday around 530. We were seated and attended to right away. The service was nice and the food was really good. We actually found that going alacart was cheaper then getting a combo on the menu. My mom shared a 1/2 pound of shrimp, 1/2 pound of green muscles, we added corn and sausage and like 2 ordered of garlic bread, plus we each had a margarita and our total was like 60 dollars as opposed to one combo with no drinks, and no garlic bread is like 60 dollars. Anyhow the flavors were so good we tried the butter garlic on the shrimp and the stinken sauce flavor on the muscles and everything was delicious! I recommend this place because it's also really close to (driving close that is) the long Beach exchange/ hanger for some walking around after you are nice and stuffed.“
