“Good food a little too loud and crowded for me had to talk louder then I usually do or like to and had to repeat myself a few times but food was really good the menu didnt have anything that stood out or sounded impressive so my expectations weren't that high I was thinking $20 for a basic cheeseburger.. then it was brought to my table and I gotta admit it was crazy good best I've had in a very long time worth every penny I can honestly I can't remember the last time I was so impressed that It changed my opinion completely I highly recommend this place personally I'll probably order to go next time im just more of a quiet person don't like being loud... not a big deal I've gotta nice dining room table and outside patio at home I can enjoy eating it at .... “Kinda went around the whole building because of google but its door is located in the pick nick area. First time coming here from an appointment next door was looking for something to eat but owner are so nice told me there special and tried the shrimp and chicken spicy soup would take a picture but I ate it all.“

“I love the bagels here they’re always fresh daily and they have the MOST delicious homemade cream cheese. I just wanna climb inside and pull the lid closed. It’s so good.

“I had an issue with a ham. Sandra reached out to me and immediately offered to replace it (which is incredibly generous in my opinion). The staff were very friendly, the wait time was very short, considering it was just a few days before Christmas. The only issue was the ham (and since the pandemic, they no longer open the wrapping to show you the ham any more) so I will just make sure to check them in the future (although, I've never had an issue prior to this). Overall, I'm extremely impressed with the Northridge location for their prompt action and willingness to make sure I was happy.“

“We love Fat Sal's.
We go there for smash burgers mostly. I definitely haven't eaten every one, but of all the smash burgers I've had all over the city, Fat Sal's is to me the best. Lacey and crispy around the edge, American cheese as God intended on a smashburger, good bun and you can add lettuce and tomato if you want. Sometimes we'll get a loaded side of fries as well. The menu is full of delicious sounding, but a little over the top combinations of things piled up on a smashburger or a sandwich. I'd love to try them, but the regular smashburger is so delicious. They have a pastrami smashburger on the menu, but it has chicken tenders and a bunch of other stuff on it as well. I don't want all of that, I want a smashburger with griddled pastrami added to it, maybe some Swiss. The regular smashburger, maybe with an extra Patty added is the go-to for both of us.
The staff working there all knows and recognizes us. They're very friendly, and very customer service oriented. They always want to make sure we have everything we need and that we're taken care of, they'll swing by the counter where we're eating to see if we need any more ketchup, napkins, etc. It's really next-level service for this kind of a fast casual. Lots of TVs up high on the walls showing whatever sports is on, plus a Fat Sal's Venice Beach skater video running on a loop. Recommend if you like a delicious smashburger in a cool low-key environment with great service. And who doesn't?“

“The description of Ike's to me made it sound like Fat Sal's and I was excited. Truth of the matter is Ike's holds its own, and it didn't disappoint. It has a great menu mixed with Meat and Veggie options. The Mrs. and I split and highly recommend the Captain Carl and the Meatless Mike (I concur "best vegan meatball in America", and Our 3 y/o gives the grilled cheese 👍👍. Our 9y/o swears it was the best grilled cheese she ever had.“
