“I was craving a milkshake, and one of the things I love about Baskin Robbins is that they can turn any of their ice cream flavors into a milkshake. One of my favorite flavors is chocolate fudge, and I must say it is AMAZING in milkshake form.

This location has tables indoors if you prefer to enjoy your treats there. They also have family night on Tuesdays with discounted ice creams.

I haven’t tried their cakes yet, but judging from their displays, they look delicious.“

“My recommendation is to come here if you're looking to stock up on goodies for a party, especially during the summer. Things like Piñatas, Ice Cream, Block of Ice (for shaved ice and candy. For things like cups, straws, plates you could find better deals at other big stores. It's more about what you won't find in those places that you can find at Northridge Ice Cream.

During my visit I picked up a big block of ice for $10, big piñata for 20 and some candy.

Overall, this place serves local vendors with ice cream, snacks and anything in between. I visited this place out of curiosity, but ended up leaving with bags of imported candy. A good half of it you can find in big supermarkets like Vallarta, but not all. The variety is good and organization methods. The folks there were very friendly and helpful. It felt like they were happy to have visitors in, but maybe you're just a happy person if you sell ice cream all day.“

“The staff greeted us right away and offered plenty of samples. I felt encouraged to find the right flavor for me. Highly recommend the stracciatella. It was the right amount of creamy sweetness with chocolate. I didn't feel over loaded with sugar like a regular ice cream store. Well definitely visit again.“

“Great mom and pop place for anything juices, shaved ice , ice cream and hot chocolate!I got a Lulo juice,(not pictured) which is a subtle citrus yet earthy tea like shake that was right up my alley. I don't like overbearing sweetness. And since this shops main ingredients are 100% natural. It's perfect for my taste.I also got a shaved ice lemonade (pictured) which was perfect. I can taste the whole lemon essence with a perfect amount of sweetness!My brother got a hot chocolate (pictured) And it was phenomenal. A slightly gritty drink but all cocoa chocolate. Almost like a abuelitas chocolate mix. But way less sweet and more coco forward. Highly highly recommend.Overall if I lived near and frequented the mall I'd always get something from here. “So our journey begins with a hot day. A few degrees cooler than the SF valley, but still pretty hot. As we venture through quite a bit, we were looking for a place to cool-off. The first suggestion in the car was ICE CREAM!!!! The vote was unanimous. This presented a few decisions to be made. We can go to the valley, and enjoy Cold Stone or settle for something else. Clearly it was too far. So our next decision was to find one here in Simi Valley. At this point we find ourselves with something that happens in many food chains. We tend to find the greatest link that is above our set standards. When we think those standards are met by the rest of the links, we some how find the weakest link. This typically ruins the image of the whole food chain, or just keeps us going to one. That stereotype has been debunked by Cold Stone. Benefit of the doubt, maybe not all….maybe. In my scorecard Cold Stone is two for two. Making this location the treat location away from home.

In my snapshot when we came in we missed the masses by a minute or so. Like all other families had the same Idea at the same time(Almost). Which it was comforting to see this location filled up quick. The almost all male crew and one female were pretty fast in working together to get our-oh-so yummy treats in our hands. I have been on a chocolate trip lately, and the Germanchocolatekake was a nice way to give farewell to the evening sundown and welcome to the Sunday night.

As we walked outside, they have a patio with a waterfall fountain. Unique in style the area was serene. The only issue was that the table were dirty. As other customers of the shopping center made messes. Unfortunately I don’t think this area is observed by any one business. Luckily, we keep Clorox wipes. The table got cleaned, and there was the good deed for the day. Clearly this was an issue on most of the tables. Another family also enjoyed a Cold Stone treat. So we offered Clorox wipes to them as well. The down side was that I got pictures of the Ice cream when it was done. I think it makes a good reason to go, and enjoy your own cone, or cup of joy for yourself.“

“I I think Kevin is his name but he is awesome. Any place that will help a person with mental disabilities is a plus in my book. A homeless woman came in while I was there and she got a tiny little cup for free and then I gave her $5 and she came back in and ended up getting an actual small cup and filled it to the rim with a few strawberries on top which was definitely over $5 and he still gave it to her for $5 and I think that is amazing. Also they have graham cracker for the yogurt which I feel most places don't have it but is definitely needed with my yogurt.“

“Nothing better on a hot Sunday afternoon. The selection was great that's typical for this establishment. However the restroom was out of order for a room full of children.. I asked one of the employees about it and she barked back at me nothing I can do about it! Maybe customer service should be added into their training.“

Today, however, I was looking for some lollipops to give as gifts.

This review isn’t about an extensive candy selection. My review isn’t even about the ice cream that is the primary product at this business.

This review is for the young lady that helped me find what I was looking for—Hasina.

After explaining what I was looking for, Hasina did everything she could to help me find something I’d like.

The first 2-3 options didn’t excite me. I was ready to leave, but then Hasina suggested some options at the front counter.

At first, I wasn’t excited that they weren’t exactly what I had in mind. The reason I gave them a second thought, was because I saw how sad Hasina looked when she thought she had failed to help me find something I’d like.

In the end, I left with two lollipops—a long swirly one, and a rock candy sucker. Both were actually better than what I had in mind.

This isn't a critique, but more of a recommendation for anyone considering a visit: if you love super-sweet desserts, this is the place for you.
