“I was craving a milkshake, and one of the things I love about Baskin Robbins is that they can turn any of their ice cream flavors into a milkshake. One of my favorite flavors is chocolate fudge, and I must say it is AMAZING in milkshake form.

This location has tables indoors if you prefer to enjoy your treats there. They also have family night on Tuesdays with discounted ice creams.

I haven’t tried their cakes yet, but judging from their displays, they look delicious.“

“My recommendation is to come here if you're looking to stock up on goodies for a party, especially during the summer. Things like Piñatas, Ice Cream, Block of Ice (for shaved ice and candy. For things like cups, straws, plates you could find better deals at other big stores. It's more about what you won't find in those places that you can find at Northridge Ice Cream.

During my visit I picked up a big block of ice for $10, big piñata for 20 and some candy.

Overall, this place serves local vendors with ice cream, snacks and anything in between. I visited this place out of curiosity, but ended up leaving with bags of imported candy. A good half of it you can find in big supermarkets like Vallarta, but not all. The variety is good and organization methods. The folks there were very friendly and helpful. It felt like they were happy to have visitors in, but maybe you're just a happy person if you sell ice cream all day.“

“This place is a solid four stars. I think lowering their prices Just a Touch, Maybe by 10 cents per ounce, would make it a true five star spot.

Compared to Yogurtland over by Tampa and victory, this place has a slightly more Tangy "Tangy" flavor.

I do like the fact that you can put your own toppings on, however you want, wherever you want.

The flavors tasted great, but you're kind of just right in between Menchie's and Yogurtland.
By comparison, Menchie's to me just tastes like ice milk, with a very watery consistency.
Yogurtland is a little more smoother.

When you take everything into consideration, is it worth driving six or seven miles down Victory to go to a better spot? So this money you spend in gasoline kind of is the same thing as spending 10 cents more here per ounce.

You'll have to weigh all that into consideration. I mean if you're in the neighborhood, and this is your local spot, then more power to you.

In summary, and just giving a general review of the place, it's not bad, but it's not the greatest.
I tried a good six flavors in my bowl. It was very easy to distinguish each, and some are definitely better in consistency and flavor than others.

So that's really why I gave this place four stars as well instead of 5.“

“Menchie's Frozen yogurt is a great treat. I like that it has no preservatives and no additives. It has a great variety of flavors. I'm so glad I found a good frozen yogurt place. I also love the friendly staff.“

“Great mom and pop place for anything juices, shaved ice , ice cream and hot chocolate!I got a Lulo juice,(not pictured) which is a subtle citrus yet earthy tea like shake that was right up my alley. I don't like overbearing sweetness. And since this shops main ingredients are 100% natural. It's perfect for my taste.I also got a shaved ice lemonade (pictured) which was perfect. I can taste the whole lemon essence with a perfect amount of sweetness!My brother got a hot chocolate (pictured) And it was phenomenal. A slightly gritty drink but all cocoa chocolate. Almost like a abuelitas chocolate mix. But way less sweet and more coco forward. Highly highly recommend.Overall if I lived near and frequented the mall I'd always get something from here. “My daughter ,wife and sister in law love the mangoneada! My son and I love the pineapple paleta! The best thing about it is that they use real fruit in the ice cream! unlike other similar ice cream shops that use artificial color and or flavors(thrifty) . “The staff at Crumbl Cookies was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. They were happy to walk me through the flavor options and gave me great recommendations. It’s clear that they love what they do, which makes the whole experience feel even more enjoyable. “So our journey begins with a hot day. A few degrees cooler than the SF valley, but still pretty hot. As we venture through quite a bit, we were looking for a place to cool-off. The first suggestion in the car was ICE CREAM!!!! The vote was unanimous. This presented a few decisions to be made. We can go to the valley, and enjoy Cold Stone or settle for something else. Clearly it was too far. So our next decision was to find one here in Simi Valley. At this point we find ourselves with something that happens in many food chains. We tend to find the greatest link that is above our set standards. When we think those standards are met by the rest of the links, we some how find the weakest link. This typically ruins the image of the whole food chain, or just keeps us going to one. That stereotype has been debunked by Cold Stone. Benefit of the doubt, maybe not all….maybe. In my scorecard Cold Stone is two for two. Making this location the treat location away from home.

In my snapshot when we came in we missed the masses by a minute or so. Like all other families had the same Idea at the same time(Almost). Which it was comforting to see this location filled up quick. The almost all male crew and one female were pretty fast in working together to get our-oh-so yummy treats in our hands. I have been on a chocolate trip lately, and the Germanchocolatekake was a nice way to give farewell to the evening sundown and welcome to the Sunday night.

As we walked outside, they have a patio with a waterfall fountain. Unique in style the area was serene. The only issue was that the table were dirty. As other customers of the shopping center made messes. Unfortunately I don’t think this area is observed by any one business. Luckily, we keep Clorox wipes. The table got cleaned, and there was the good deed for the day. Clearly this was an issue on most of the tables. Another family also enjoyed a Cold Stone treat. So we offered Clorox wipes to them as well. The down side was that I got pictures of the Ice cream when it was done. I think it makes a good reason to go, and enjoy your own cone, or cup of joy for yourself.“

“Been here a couple of times and the workers are extremely nice. I went in today and the person serving me was such a sweet and kind girl. The place was so super clean and well organized. My ice cream was also incredible.

“Love the yogurt, but the shop is filthy which is concerning. The woman who works there is so rude and unfriendly and she does NOT give you what you are paying for. I actually brought the yogurt home and weighed it and I was cheated! The gentleman who works evenings is super nice and definitely does his job.“

“I I think Kevin is his name but he is awesome. Any place that will help a person with mental disabilities is a plus in my book. A homeless woman came in while I was there and she got a tiny little cup for free and then I gave her $5 and she came back in and ended up getting an actual small cup and filled it to the rim with a few strawberries on top which was definitely over $5 and he still gave it to her for $5 and I think that is amazing. Also they have graham cracker for the yogurt which I feel most places don't have it but is definitely needed with my yogurt.“

“This place is pretty small, but they have a lot of ice cream options as well as popsicle options. They have snacks, ice cream scoops, frozen treats, frozen drinks, and fruit cocktails.
I definitely recommend the banana split, to me it seems pretty good for the price. It came with 3 scoops of ice cream (you can choose your flavors), whipped cream, strawberry or chocolate drizzle, cherries and of course the banana.
It's a nice place to bring kids to get them a treat.“

“Love love loovvveeee these spots but in particular this one. They always do me right. I go almost weekly for my usual choco bananos and cheetos with cheese. The ladies working the counter are always super friendly and they always treat you with that genuine kindness. The place itself and the utensils/items they use are always kept clean. Definitely recommend if you're in the area.“
