The owners are friendly and hard working to make sure every customer is happy and satisfied. They have a wide variety of food. They also have Sushi which is very popular. This restaurant has the layout, and feel of Japanese restaurants from days gone by. However, at the same time, it's very modern and stylish.

I entered with my Mom, and we were immediately greeted and seated. Our server was very friendly and had a great personality. It turns out he was very knowledgeable as well. I ordered the Salmon Shioyaki Entree, and Mom ordered the Miso Marinated Black Cod Entree. The Entrees come with Soup & Salad. The salad was subtly flavorful. With the greens, vegetables, crunchy topping, and dressing combining to create a delicious starting salad. The Miso Soup was very flavorful, and well balanced. They were both wonderful ways to start a meal. My Salmon Shioyaki was incredible. The Shio (Salt), enhances the natural flavor of the Salmon, and helps in browning, and creating crispy tasty salmon skin. The flesh was firm, yet tender and flaky. Just a squeeze of lemon, and it was perfection exemplified. The accompaniments, and rice, along with the delicious mixed Vegetables made it a complete meal. I had a taste of the Miso Black Cod. The glazed Miso flavor was undeniable, as the Black Cod melted in my mouth, ending in deliciousness.

A Japanese meal embodies that the sum of all parts, equals the whole. The Entrees here are examples of that philosophy.

The prices here are well worth it, considering what you get. The whole staff here is very friendly. Our server helped make our dining experience fantastic. We hope to see him again. We will be back,“

I’ve been eating at Roll Roll since around 2018. They never miss. At least not in my experience. Originally my wife and I found this place on yelp because it already had good reviews and amazing prices. We usually order a Party Tray for special occasions and it’s become a favourite tradition of ours, however we also like dining in because the employees have always been incredibly kind and accommodating Even now in 2026, when everything has gotten so expensive, they still provide good quality food and better quality service for a good price. You can’t ask for more honestly.“

“Masa-san serves chef's choice, and the food is fresh and delicious. Eating here is an extremely delightful experience. The sweet shrimp with eggs is one of my favorites. Always finish your meal with at least 1 (maybe 2 or ...) of his blue crab rolls. The crab is carefully hand-pulled, the rice is warm, and the seaweed is crisp. You won't find that combination of quality and easy dining experience anywhere else in the Valley. Please try it!“

The Toro and salmon were melt-in-your-mouth perfection--fresh, buttery, and honestly some of the best I've had anywhere in L.A.

Our server, Samantha, was fantastic--warm, attentive, and clearly knew the menu well. She made great recommendations and timed everything perfectly.

This place is a sushi lover's dream, without the pretense or the inflated prices of trendy spots. The prices are really affordable and the quality top notch. Friendly and timely. The ambiance is beautiful and it feels very clean when you walk in. The sushi is SO FRESH, even mid-week, and the special cut rolls are very artistic and delicious. This is getting way out of hand and really crazy and then they hover over you so they're looking at you while you're giving the tip it makes it very uncomfortable and you don't even let you cook less than 18%. “Definitely needs a higher rating. Cause the sushi here was phenomenal! I mean the taste and quality was just truly amazing. We had the flaming salmon roll. The salmon just melted in your mouth. It had crab in it as well and it didn’t over power it. It blended so nicely together. Then there was a special that the chef made. It was so good. Meant to ask what he puts in it. “The sushi here is absolutely excellent, fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. You can really taste the quality in every bite. It’s also such a great value for the price, which makes the experience even better. I especially recommend the vegetarian roll, which was delicious, and the salmon avocado roll, which was perfectly balanced and so satisfying. The specialty dishes are fantastic as well, the crispy tuna dish, in particular, was outstanding and full of flavor.
One detail I really noticed and appreciated was how beautifully they cut the avocado. It’s such a small thing, but it shows the level of care and attention that goes into every plate, making the presentation just as enjoyable as the taste.
I really like that there’s the option to order individual rolls from the menu, which I personally preferred. At the same time, they also offer really good lunch specials that are generous and worth checking out if you want a complete meal at a great price. We came here for dinner and everything exceeded expectations.
Another thing that stood out, aside from the food, was the care and attention from the chef. It’s clear that he pays attention to his customers and takes pride in making sure everyone has a great experience, which adds so much to the atmosphere. The service overall was warm, attentive, and friendly, making the evening even more enjoyable.
I also have to mention the ginger — it was excellent, fresh, and had just the right flavor, which I personally loved. It elevated the sushi perfectly and showed the thoughtfulness that goes into the small details here.
Overall, this restaurant is a real gem. From the fresh and delicious sushi to the beautifully cut avocado, the attentive chef, excellent service, and even the little touches like the quality ginger, everything came together to make it a memorable dining experience.
