The service was excellent, other than the food coming out faster than the cocktails, but we didn't mind because the food was hot and amazingly tasty and cocktails were top notch and took time. We definitely would be coming back. The inside was cranking the AC so we enjoyed sitting outside in the back patio.”

“Last Friday, we came by to rent a storage unit and ended up staying for a late lunch at CJ's. What a hidden gem in north Chico! It's no frills counter service, with a large dining room, and open kitchen. I appreciate being able to see the clean kitchen & prep area with my own eyes. I ordered a grilled chicken salad - it was huge, overflowing with tons of fresh toppings. The staff was hustling through a rush, and yet they were all so attentive and nice. CJ's is a Pepsi establishment, which makes my Diet Coke loving heart a little sad... but the food more than makes up for it. Now I need to time my storage unit runs around lunch hour so I can work my way through the menu! A burger will be next :)”

“This is our go-to spot whenever we find ourselves traveling through Chico. Our favs are the asada salad, albondigas, and Super Molcajete. The steak on the asada salad is SO tasty, all you need is a little lime juice for dressing. Light, filling, and delicious. Their 'hot' salsa is delicious, and they have really good, creamy flan and tasty micheladas! The staff is always friendly and accommodating. We have taken a large group of people twice, and both times they exceeded expectations.”

The lady who runs this place is super friendly and sweet, she tries her hardest to be attentive.
I've been here a few times, the Pho is phenomenal. The noodles have always been tender. Some days the food is better seasoned than others this isn't a michillen start restaurant, don't come in with your expectations and privileges.
They do there best here and the portion sizes are awesome! The food here is good. Give everything a try atleast twice and you'll realize that it just depends on the day. ♥️
And for the prices? Can't beat that.

The recent expansion was done in a phenomenal way to provide two different dining experiences whereas the new “”lounge with about 10 doubles is really nice for an intimate dining experience. As for the food, OMG! Flavors you recognize but don’t typically prepare, awesome sushi and sashimi. I am partial to simple dishes like a Gilroy roll, California roll and the like. These were on the menu deep fried and again, OMG! The staff was awesome, and management has adapted to a much larger capacity with minimal, if any, disruption in service. Aside from frequent drop ins to the Rawbar, I have plans already to keep the tradition on our anniversary. See you on #39 on Sept, 6, 2026!”

They also have many excellent sides to choose from, such as potato salad or lobster mac.

Frequent visits you may start to notice most sushi taste the same or similar and start to get tired or same style or flavors , so you may need to change your options to avoid that. Is fresh, clean, bathrooms are ok. Parking is fine. Nigiris are good. A la cart is ok but sushi isn't thatt big. 4 rolls for 20 is ok for 2 kids.”

We would likely go back for happy hour and give that a try in the bar versus another full meal in the dining room.”

The atmosphere was very kid-friendly, and the staff went out of their way to be welcoming and attentive. It felt comfortable and enjoyable from start to finish.

“I think their restaurant is permanently closed and they only do catering now, but I wanted to leave a review because these guys and Mo's were the best BBQ places in town and now they're both gone. Honestly, I actually don't think there are any BBQ places left now. This place was amazing, 10/10 and their meats were always juicy on the inside with a nice char on the outside. They will be sorely missed.”

“we came in for lunch today 2/15 with 2 young kids. there happened to be a man who was being unruly, loud. Behavior that was questionable and the staff handled the situation extremely professional and with lots of patience. They apologized to everyone around him which was not needed, at any rate thank you to those who were working and defused a situation that was scary for the kids. we will be back.”

“Nash's Restaurant Review I haven't been to Nash's in years, it was always a place where you could get a satisfying dish of food with a nice atmosphere. On this day, Nash's was hopping and busy with every table filled with happy customers. The wait was not long to be seated, once I received my menu with a 4 min wait my order was taken, in no time my plate arrived. My waitress Amy, was friendly and had a patient personality and excellent interpersonal skills, responded to all my questions about the breakfast menu. I ordered the half plate of Carnitas Benedict, that came with one poached egg on an English muffin with carnitas, avocado and dice tomatoes, all topped off with their delicious house verde sauce with a bit of cilantro, my choice of side was their hash browns, in my opinion "The Best Hash Browns In Chico" Nash's was just like I remember, really good food with a great staff. I highly recommend you stop in for a bite to eat and try the Carnitas Benedict Breakfast. I will definitely be visiting Nash's more often. All in all I'll give that visit a 5 Star Rating.”

We went in and experienced great high quality service from the staff start to finish. The food…amazing. The best plating and overall presentation hands down in Chico. This quality was also present in every meal we had. The crab, chicken, duck, and salmon were all top notch and extremely unique to any place in Chico. Not to mention there desert is crazy good. Highly recommend and definitely going again.”
