“Scrumptious, moist, and irresistible describes the cake I ordered from Some Crust for my mother’s memorial service reception. The cake was impeccably crafted and the designers decorated it in exactly the manner in which we requested, “Not too much.” The frosting was strikingly smooth and the piping adorned only the bottom of the cake, ensuring the decoration was not too much. The colors of the yellow and red roses and the green leaves on top of the cake were tastefully muted and maintained the minimal emphasis of the decorations. It was a spice cake in which all the flavors blended perfectly without one flavor standing out too predominantly. It was delivered exactly at the time it was scheduled to arrive at the location. I highly recommend this bakery when you have an occasion that requires a specialty cake.“

“came here and tried their minis. they were a little costly, but a nice occasional treat. i got the semi-sweet chocolate chunk, cookie dough, and blueberry muffin, which all looked like the picture. i think the warm cookies were the best, and the more recently they come out of the oven the better. service was great and friendly, store was clean.“

“I am literally here ALL THE TIME! I purchase bread for new neighbors that move into our area... I like to place the Olive Oil, Balsamic Vinegar and a loaf of bread in a bag as a housewarming gift. I do recommend you call ahead or come early.

The Miche is my favorite for grilled cheese sandwiches on the panini grill. Lemon Rosemary is another savory favorite as well as the recently added Cranberry Jalapeno.

“Had a rare treat of many tasty savory pies. I had the Chicken Curry pie and my friend had the Chicken Leak pie would highly recommend either of them. The crusts on the pies were flaky and delicious you can tell butter was used not lard. Even though it is a bit of a drive will definitely go again“

“I was looking for an Oreo cake and this is the only bakery that had one near me. It’s inside the grocery store, near the right side entrance. Everything looked delicious and fresh. But best of all is the service! The kind man that helped me was so sweet and even gave me a few baked goods to go for free. It really touched my heart. Will definitely be back and recommend.“

So when he gets there, he is getting Conchas and quernos, and he asks her if there is any more bolillo and guess what she said: "Yes, I have a couple left. These are the last ones and they are the small ones. My son brings them home, and they are the big ones. I am glad she gave them to my son. My son is a handsome boy and courteous, so I think she liked him. And gave him those last pieces. That was a blessing. Their bolillo is so good. Mmm. “Beautiful cafe with a lot of pastries options. They weren’t completely full because I came 45 minutes before closing but still a great amount of pastries to choose from. I got the Spanish iced latte and it was a beautiful blend of cinnamon and coffee with condensed milk. I also purchased a slice of carrot cake. Amazing flavor with the crunch of walnuts paired with the light cinnamon cream it’s frosted in. I also recommend the wedding cookie. A very soft and delicate cookie tossed in powdered sugar. Highly recommend and will be coming back!“

I loved their bread so much that I now must go there to get my bread.

Their tamales are delicious as well! 🫔

And I love their empanadas🥟 with custard.

Their cheesecake is delicious too!

They also have a fridge selling sparkling water, jarritos, Jumex, gallons of milk,🥛 juice, 🧃bed quick, and ofc canned sodas too.

They have comfortable indoor seating booths too!

And when you come in it smells so good 😊 👍!.

I absolutely recommend this panadería to anyone who needs/wants bread, tamales, birria, pan, or pan dulce!!!

Vegetarian options: Most all breads are vegetarian with the exception of some dishes that have meat, but are clearly labeled.

Dietary restrictions: They have multiple lower sugar breads, and most of their items are vegetarian. But I'm not sure if there are vegan items as well.

Parking: Street Parking, difficult to find parking as they are always popular.

Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly. They can smell the breads and eat.

Wheelchair accessibility: The door is wide enough to go in with wheelchair but there's no wheelchair seating I noticed.“

“Quaint family-owned market full of yummy baked goods, organic fruits and veggies (and more), kombucha, coffees, protein bowls, and even a surprising selection of gelato! They have a burger/hot dog pop up that I was interested in which is how I found the market itself.

In addition to my delicious burger (from the little pop up tent outside called Gr8 Burgers), I walked away with some incredible homemade cookies! Their bakery case had so many delectable looking items like giant cinnamon rolls and pan dulce - it was hard to choose.

But the fresh cookies were calling out to me so I grabbed a chocolate chip, a peanut butter, and an oatmeal cranberry. The cookies were massive, soft, and absolutely fantastic! The oatmeal cranberry also had white chocolate chips in it and is officially my new fave cookie - omg it was so good!

The staff member helping me was super friendly too! I truly enjoyed chatting while waiting for my burger - such a family friendly vibe! They have a large patio out front with tables and chairs, as well as an adorable back patio area with umbrellas and plenty of seating - and they’re dog friendly too!

They have a rotating schedule of various food pop ups and events listed on the boards outside the market as well as on their Instagram page. And there’s tons of parking in the back - but it’s not paved and a tad bumpy so be sure to go slowly.

I had a great visit and will most definitely be back for more burgers and those fabulous cookies (and maybe even some gelato next time?? lol)!!“

“This was the only shop near me that was opened at noon and even though they were close to closing, they still had the donuts I was looking for. The owner was very kind and threw in an extra donut. He gave me a blueberry glazed donut which was my favorite out of the other donuts I typically get from any other shop. Will be coming back for the blueberry donuts again.“

“Love the cake… it’s light, airy and delicious! I ordered it through the phone Saturday and got it the next day the following morning for my best friends birthday!!! I got a coconut flavor and they used shaved coconut which gave it a delicious texture to the cake. The frosting was not too sweet as well. The cake was $35 plus i got two birthday candles for the age which they have and it was worth the extra few dollars ! ($1-2)“

Even when they were at the old location by Los Portales in chino. I’ve also been to the other location by Los Portales in Montclair. They weren’t very talkative but they are fast. She had so many choices of donuts and I chose a chocolate nut cake and a chocolate chip donut one. They were absolutely delicious, soft, and fresh!!!
