“Really neat little winery.“

“This was one were I expected to give out a 5 score based on other reviews and the fact that it appeared to stay open a bit later to relax and enjoy a glass. However, wine tasting flights are only available indoors and you have to buy a glass or bottle to enjoy their lovely patio grounds. The wine was quite good and the staff reasonably well informed though. I have to give a shout out to Kelly who spotted us dining at Pietro's the next night and came up to say hi and ask us how our visit was going.“

We travel between our homes in Los Angeles and Elk Grove and this is our favorite place to go...THE STAFF IS AMAZING and they treat us like Family...KAREN... hey neighbor..(inside joke) is the absolute best EVER.. she has a sense of humor like no other... I did not know that till I met John and Lisa at Prie this weekend.They grow/source a number of European grape varietals like Dornfelder (Germany), Teroldego (Italy), Alicante Bouschet (Spain) besides the staples of Lodi area like Syrah, Barbera, Zin. What makes the wines very special is the philosophy of wine making - minimalist. The wines are not bold or jammy. They are subtle, balanced and complex.John and Lisa are also wonderful and kind human beings who care a lot about the world. I got to know them in a leisurely chat on a warm afternoon. The tasting area is a a calm soothing place, just to have such conversations with friends and family while sipping some vino.Highly recommend if you love old world style wines.“

“We had dinner last night at a wine club release event here. Everything was perfect. The venue, the food, the wine, all outstanding. But most of all all the staff, the wine maker, the chefs and the owners were fantastic and showed wonderful hospitality towards all the guests. A great evening.“

“So got 2 bottles of wine, they were both gifts and was dying to try them. Tonight we retried the petite Shiraz. I'm a huge fan of petite Shiraz and this was incredible!! First we decanter it and let it breathe after aerating it. Nothing can compliment a good filet mignon like a good bottle of petite Shiraz. This is now on my list of must have! Smooth. Just a hint of earthy. No pepper or tannins (two of my least favorites in wines). This is a bottle of wine you can enjoy alone or with a meal. It's just very clean and well composed, like the notes to a favorite song! My soon to be daughter in law loves the wine too!! We have been looking for a good wine to put in the wedding venue to serve at the big day with a great dinner. We found it“
