“I’ve only had the Tom Yum and Tom Kha soup with shrimp. Both are really good, definitely worth a try if you work nearby. I only gave the place 4 stars because I haven’t tried much so can’t say it’s 5 star worthy.Staff are friendly and they can get those soups out in under 8 mins, perfect for a lunch break.The food hall itself is pretty boring and just a big room with chairs.“

I decided to post a review after reading Chelsea’s ridiculously unfair review. I completely disagree with her negative attitude. This place is wonderful and the staff are fantastic. I also appreciated the owner’s response explaining the soft opening and the permitting process for alcoholic beverages.

“The grilled pork collar, the khao kha moo, is the dish that most regulars gravitate toward first, slow-cooked pork leg over rice with a dark, sweet braising sauce and a soft egg alongside, the kind of composed plate that operates at the intersection of comfort food and actual cooking. The fried pork skin served with a larb dipping sauce is the snack that arrived at the table first and was gone faster than anything else, the skin light and airy and the larb funky and herbaceous and the kind of thing that makes you understand why certain foods become obsessions. The pad see ew is the noodle dish most people know and want, and the version here is properly wok-charred with good smokiness in the flat rice noodles and a soy-egg combination that's been executed well rather than just thrown together. The papaya salad has a heat level that earns its reputation, bright and tart and genuinely spicy in a way that doesn't ease up. The mango sticky rice at the end is generous and properly made, the coconut milk soaked deep into the rice and the mango sweet and ripe in a way that seasonal sourcing makes possible.
The wine program here is notably good for a casual Thai restaurant, which is part of what makes the whole experience feel more considered than the room might suggest.“

“Step into Mama Mae Ting's stall and you will be transported into an authentic Bangkok soi eatery (street stall). Somtam is fresh, crunchy and seasoned as spicy as you can handle; the BBQ chicken (gai yang) & BBQ pork (mu ping) are super savory and juicy (and conveniently served on sticks)..be sure to ask for sticky rice with that! Missed out on the kanomkrok but will save that treat for my next visit. Super arroy di mak-mak!“

“I used to always drive all the way to Thai Town for authentic Thai food, but I decided to try Kwan Kitchen since it recently opened near my house. It was absolutely delicious! We ordered the Tom Yum Goong and Pad Thai, and both were amazing. I’m so glad I don’t have to make that long drive anymore. The service was friendly, and the restaurant was cool, clean, and comfortable. I can't wait to come back and try other dishes on the menu“

“I am beyond happy to have revisited this delicious restaurant. I was in just in Los Angeles at the end of Aug/early Sept with my sister and we wanted to pass by here. This is a favorite and cherished location as our grandma lives up the hill in Telacu and as kids/teens we would frequent this restaurant a lot.

We were so hungry and it was so worth it.

“Highly recommended by another fellow Elite Yelper so we decided to check it out. We had a good experience, both food and service were very good.

We started with Chicken satay and the meat was very tender and tasty.

Pineapple fried rice was a very generous portion (not served on a pineapple) and very good. You can taste the fire power on the fried rice that you can’t make at home.

Green curry with beef is tasty, but probably better to pair with shrimp or chicken or tofu.

The seafood hotpot was slightly more sour than what I’d like (this is normal and expected as my stomach can’t tolerate acid very well, and mentioned ahead of time), they gladly took it in and mild it down for us. It came out a bit later and it was delicious.

Service was excellent, it was pretty busy with all the tables taken, everyone was courteous, caring, and helpful.“

“A nice Thai restaurant that offers musical entertainment over the weekends and karaoke.

Food is always good here but service sometimes can be lacking a bit if they get very busy. We got basil chicken and green curry here and both were very good. However , they missed the mark with their dessert serving - Mango with Sticky rice. The mangoes were sour and that completely derailed the dessert.

Overall - a good little Thai restaurant that does the job !“

We also tried the Spicy Basil Clams for the first time, and they were incredibly flavorful and mouthwatering. Overall, it’s a great restaurant if you enjoy authentic Thai food. “We just had my son’s university graduation dinner at Green Leaves, and they were wonderful!! We had 20+ people and everyone loved the food. They gave us great advice about having appetizers ready at the beginning. Most of our guests were not vegetarian or vegan, but no one missed the meat. Every dish was absolutely delicious and the staff were super kind, accommodating and capable. My carnivore husband said he really wants to go back soon (we live over 70 miles away)“

“Ordered through Grubhub and had the best delivery experience I’ve had at any restaurant! I ordered Paw See Ew and Beef Short Rib with Rice. I wanted to add hot sauce so I called the store. A very nice gentleman picked up the phone and was very sweet about adding hot sauce and they also gave a side of free fruit and fried vegetables. Service was THE BESTT The food is so tasty too really lives up to the name of this restaurant! Very pleasantly satisfied and will be ordering and try visiting!!“
