“By far one of the best meals we've had in a long time. Let's start with the BBQ carrots — I never knew carrots could taste this good. They've got a slight kick and come with an incredible sauce. It's a generous appetizer, definitely shareable. We ordered the Chicken Piccata with a side of Cacio e Pepe, and it was hands-down the best Chicken Piccata I've ever had. The chicken was perfectly cooked, tender and flavorful, and the caper sauce was out of this world. Our server was friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. We'll absolutely be back.“

They serve brunch until 2pm…I was so excited when I got to this place! The ambience is awesome! The music is on point, they have a nice bar, and food is very good! We went on a Sunday and we had to wait a bit longer than usual but I didn’t mind at all, I was just enjoying the place. Great menu and the prices are the absolute best! I’ll keep coming back, I loved it!! Everyone is super nice and they make you feel welcomed even though they were very busy…this will be my spot in Newport Beach from now on.

“I was invited to their soft opening and went last night with a few friends. It's a new late night spot with small bites and drinks. Customer service was on point! Ron does an amazing job catering to clientele and providing great hospitality. He is truly interested in making sure customers are happy and open to ideas for any improvements! Drinks were good and strong. We had the Japanese old fashioned and lychee martini. Best part was it was buy one get one free! My favorite food was the wagyu and blue crab hand roll. It was a cool concept, they did a "reverse" hand roll and I especially loved that part because the nori was nice and crispy. Very innovative! Can't wait to return and try more of the menu items. They are going to incorporate bar food in the future and can't wait to see how it comes along. Also, they had good music selection!!!!“

“This is the local spot for me and the hubs. Miguel is an excellent bartender, and all of the staff are welcoming, attentive and kind. We usually come for lunch and their happy hour is also great. Also can't miss the tacos from Fonda moderna next door (their sister spot). When we have a drink our kids can play outside on the patio, hit a ping pong, or ride their scooters in the park. Overall a great spot!“

“Feels like you’re in a NY loft bar and privileged to have the only rooftop view of south Orange County. Bartenders are top notch and make you feel welcome. Food is well planned with a cultured menu emphasizing the Asian diversity of the area. I cannot get enough of the calamari and the Spectrum Sunset cocktail. Also, a lovely hostess named Sasha greets you upon arrival which just sets the mood.“

“Can’t say enough good things about the food at Nep! We started with spicy wontons, perfectly light and crispy calamari, and a shrimp salad with fish sauce dressing. All absolutely outstanding. The pork tomahawk with nuoc cham was cooked to perfection, and the garlic noodles are the best I’ve had since Crustacean. To top it off, the bread pudding is the best I’ve tasted outside of New Orleans (and I’m from New Orleans!). We can’t wait to return.“

“I was conflicted about whether to give Rol 4 or 5 stars. I’m a sushi and hand roll aficionado. I’d eat it daily and I’ve been to most of the places in SoCal. The fish quality here is very good. I got the lunch special and at $16 for 4 rolls that’s a very good price. But the rolls are very small. Usually I can have enough at 5 rolls to be full. Here I had 6 and I could have still eaten more.

Other than that, I have no complaints. It’s a clean restaurant located right off beach blvd in main part of city. The servers were attentive and nice. I’m just a big eater and I would have to order 7-8 rolls to feel satisfied.“

“Our family group of 11 had a remarkable experience at Jolie’s Saturday evening. Personable and patient, Alvaro was our incredible server whose service was exceptional. The food order was perfect and each person loved their entree. The salmon dinner was moist, flat iron steak salad was tender and fresh, the vegetarian pasta was flavorful, all other entrées were delicious. The appetizers, spicy tuna stack, brussel sprouts and steak tartar were a delicious intro to precede our entrees. All perfectly prepared. We had two children with us and they enjoyed their meals which arrived promptly. Alvaro made our birthday and thanksgiving celebration so special. We will definitely return to Jolies for their fabulous service, view and food! Kudos to everyone at jolies who work together to provide thee Best!“

“I wish I would have got the waitress's name. She was so nice and accommodating to me ,my wife, and our dog. She went above and beyond a couple of times during our lunch. My wife's dish was a little too spicy so we sent it back and they gave us another at no charge(minus the Chipotle sauce). The amazing part Was the sincere kindness of the waitress. “Living in the boonies of San Diego Co has benefits…(no traffic jams)…but few awesome perks…(like Tiki bars!!) Luckily the gods aligned, in Orange Co, and our last stop was the Stowaway. Intriguing, dark-painted, one small door marked the front of a strip-mall establishment… hmmm…sorta scary…but not really!! But there were two of us, and we had researched this place…so… The doorman looked at us, said a few things and unlocked a chain. We walked through curtains into the darkest bar I had ever been in, and shuffled toward the green lit bar…which turned red, then blue. The girl bartender handed us a card which we couldn’t read…it was really dark inside. From the shadows, up walked a bearded guy wearing a black shirt with hibiscus’s, smiled, extended his hand and said, “Hi, I’m “WILL”…can I explain anything to you? We had lots of questions…about drinks, Tiki ceramics, glassware, appetizers…and WILL cheerfully explained everything…He was fun, cheery, smart, and So Nice!! He brought us amazing drinks (a Tropical Margarita, a Cococano and totally fun ceramic sculptures from which to drink…an Angler Zombie Fish with a light, and Carved Volcano mug that had a flame show-by WILL, included!! Awesome!!) Totally wonderful décor…lights, bamboo furniture, comfy stools, the Skull Cave and waterfall, starry night ceiling, cool pool tables with lotsa room around them…everything thought through perfectly!!! We are definitely going back…VERY soon!!!! Thanks so much for everything, WILL!!“

“Went to Cozy Pine for date night and we enjoyed it. Really feels like you are in a different place, inside a restaurant. Decor, cocktails and food were all great. Definitively worth stopping in.
Food is mostly “snacky” compared to Bacchus outside. We did not have a reservation and we’re still able to get seated, likely because we arrived early in the evening.“
