Team Barbie and I rolled in Coronado's sole dive bar around 9:30am on Thursday, July 4th. A little preparty before marching in the famous Coronado 4th of July Parade. Interior is from the 1980s or 70s...but still clean, dark, faded red carpet, vintage wood panel walls, beer decor, a single pool table in the back, an older, friendly and gentlemanly bartender, and a clientele that was 90% men at this early hour.

Three craft lager beers and a generous mimosa was $29, which I thought was very reasonable in an expensive, ritzy, and yuppy filled city like Coronado.“

“I had a wonderful and amazing taste of all of the delicious food prepared at Serea Coastal Cuisine. I can’t wait to go back and have this delicious food.“

“First off, incredible location and view. Great people watching and over chilling by the beach spot. I highly recommend checking Babcock out. It was super fun to have live music. Food was pretty good and servers were hustling but overall slow bar and kitchen. That said the atmosphere out shines the slowness.“

“This burger is AMAZING. Get it for breakfast, lunch and dinner, that’s how good it was. Our server Tara was absolutely fantastic, walked us through the menu and told us everything we NEEDED to get. Can not recommend Hotel Del and the Sun Deck more. Even better if you get Tara as your server.“

“This was a great little rooftop bar that I just happened to notice while waiting on our shuttle. It decorated very modern and cute! The host/waiter was very personable and super friendly. The Wagyu burger and chicken sandwich were ok, but the herbed cauliflower was delicious! The view was great too! We would definitely visit again!!“

“Honestly could be considered a bit pricy until you finish your first drink. The bar tenders make some of the best drinks I've ever had and at first they seem to just be heavy on the fruit but about halfway thru you realize they balance the alcohol perfectly so you cant tell that they definitely make them very sturdy for a day at the beach. As for the tacos, I usually end up having several by the end of the day they are just so balanced and flavorful. Good portion size too (I usually get several fish tacos and one or two shrimp thru the day). I will always recommend the classic margarita with a tajin rim or the watermelon drinks they make. The fruit garnish is to die for and very refreshing complement to the drink itself. I am very passionate about this place.“

“This is not a place for food, but the drinks are so delicious! I need to go back to be able to try the rest of the drinks. That's basically the reason why I didn't give 5 stars, I really would wish more opportunity to try the other drinks. Overall I am in love with the place.“

I will say the entrance was very hard to find, given that's what was expected for this speak-easy vibe, however, there was multiple people separate from my group that had a hard time trying to find the entrance. Drinks were great and vibe was 10/10. Would recommend to friends!“

“Very fun and lively atmosphere! The design is very well done. The food was great, I personally loved the oysters as they were served differently than I have experienced. The jalapeño Caesar salad was also amazing! Had a kick! Main dishes I enjoyed were the burger, and the chicken, very good and flavorful. Very fun and different cocktails to choose from along with fun zero proof options which is great if you do not drink alcohol. Service was spectacular, very kind, professional and knowledgeable about the menu. We will be coming back!“

“First time here. It’s your typical dive, don’t expect anymore, don’t expect any less. Quarter machine was out of order so could play some of the games we wanted to but the bartender was pretty nice which is always great when it comes to drive bars“

“I enjoyed myself ??? The co-owner was awesome as she moved around the crowd and spoke to ppl and seen her help clear tables ? The dj on Friday night was dope, had me dancing ?? The bartender (white dude with long hair ??) he has stellar customer service ?? met friendly people and staff! I like how they have a smoking area where you could still hear the music dead on , but they could have dimmer lights in the smoking section coz it bothered my eyes ???? I didn't get to try the food but I look forward to doing so soon!! Security was on it, great communication skills amongst each other and they paid attention all around; I felt safe.. I don't think anyone would mess with ??. Bathroom was very clean and the long mirror A+ ???. I ordered patron and redbull, I suggest they keep their redbulls chilled since a customer like myself orders the entire can ? price was decent!! I went earlier so parking was great for me but probably not for the late heads ?“

“Fabulous food served in a no-frills, casual atmosphere. The service was excellent and Chef Luciano Cibelli comes out of the kitchen and checks with every table to see how diners are doing. Great place to celebrate a special occasion. We enjoyed the seafood fettucini, chicken parmesian, and the catch of the day, which was sea bass on a bed of roasted vegetables, with beet purée and a delicious beurre blanc. Delish!“

“Its in OB, what else is there to say? While all other beach hoods have terrible parking, you can always get close to lucys. But if you have to walk half a block, its like being in a Norman Rockwell hood if he was a chill beach hippie that liked tattoos and beer. Three pool tables. Avid and amenable local bar shooters. Solid tenders. Free pool on Tuesdays.“
