“My mom and I came here when visiting the Legion of Honor, and it's a cozy quiet shop near a beautiful view of the Golden Gate Bridge. We got a bagel and a daily special - it was only $10 and it was so good! The woman serving was so nice and the service was great. Would recommend if you are looking for a straightforward lunch and coffee spot!“

“This Turkish restaurant is outstanding in all aspects! Our dinner consisted of the Meze Combo, which is an excellent selection of their fabulous appetizers, the Lamb Shish Kebab, with lamb that was cooked to perfection, and the Adana Kebab, which was a fine mixture of lamb and beef in a slightly spicy combination. The waiter was very polite and extremely friendly and welcoming, and very attentive to our needs. We thoroughly appreciated his recommendation of the baklava to compliment the excellent meal we had. It had just the right amount of sweetness and a wonderful blend of walnuts and spices. Due to the meal being so exceptional, we came back the next morning for an outstanding breakfast!!! We had the Menemen (Shaksouka) and the American Breakfast. And finished it off with a bowl of their Sutlac - the creamy rice pudding! Delicious indeed! Great waitstaff at both meals! “I recently moved to San Anselmo, and am so happy I “found” The Hummingbird in nearby Fairfax. It’s in a good location at 57 Broadway Blvd. with plenty of free parking across the street. I really like the New Orleans vibe at The Hummingbird. The menu includes several creole items alongside standard breakfast and lunch choices. The servers are friendly, helpful, and efficient. The food is fresh and delicious. I love their catfish po’ boy sandwich. The fried green tomato BLT is very good too. My third visit will happen next week — I’m thinking waffle & fried chicken this time . . . or maybe the fried shrimp po’ boy sandwich.“

“Got breakfast here everyday I stayed in SF — if you get there right after 8:30 AM that’s when they start bringing out the fresh pastries. Get the egg tart and coconut bun. Coconut bun is out of this world and the egg tart is super flaky and buttery. Getting there early is a must because the bakery items are still warm!“
