“My mom and I came here when visiting the Legion of Honor, and it's a cozy quiet shop near a beautiful view of the Golden Gate Bridge. We got a bagel and a daily special - it was only $10 and it was so good! The woman serving was so nice and the service was great. Would recommend if you are looking for a straightforward lunch and coffee spot!“

“Such a great find! We walked here from our hotel in Union Square, & though there were a lot of people waiting to be seated, we only had to wait about 10 minutes- the cycle through folks quickly! We were in and out in an hour. My boyfriend (who is not vegan) & I (a am vegan) both got the same thing- oat milk vanilla lattes and the vegan burrito. They were both absolutely killer. And don’t sleep on the hot sauce! We paid $67 for our meal, which wasn’t great, but it’s SF, so normal prices. Would absolutely go here again. My bf agreed that it was a great spot, he also loved it.“

If you're English and cannot drink coffee, this was THE BEST place to get a decent cup of tea. I really like the New Orleans vibe at The Hummingbird. The menu includes several creole items alongside standard breakfast and lunch choices. The servers are friendly, helpful, and efficient. The food is fresh and delicious. I love their catfish po’ boy sandwich. The fried green tomato BLT is very good too. “Got breakfast here everyday I stayed in SF — if you get there right after 8:30 AM that’s when they start bringing out the fresh pastries. Get the egg tart and coconut bun. Coconut bun is out of this world and the egg tart is super flaky and buttery. Getting there early is a must because the bakery items are still warm!“

Food was delicious and they have a good menu as well. Huge place so you feel like a community here, which is so rare these days.
