“I checked out Charlie's Fish N Chips. Got the Red Snapper and Shrimp combo, both deep fried. Came with Fries, a dinner roll and a salad. The Fish and Shrimp were hittin', the Fries weren't hot. Staff was cool and efficient. I would go here again 100.“

So if you just want if you pieces....you you can order that way if you want a lot you can order that way, whatever you think you can eat. “This may be my new fav. Fish market in LA I highly recommend if your in the southeast part of LA. This is a hidden gem. They have a few market items. I ordered a lunch which had 3 pieces of fish (I got fillet sole) + 5 shrimp a side (French fries) and a roll. The fries are fresh doesn't taste like it's been cooked in old oil. They seasoned my fries as asked. The fish omg so flavorful, and they ask how u want your food fried hard regular soft. I love that. I order original and it was crunchy. I highly recommend. “I found them on Yelp with a 4.5 rating and said I'm gonna try this place. I ordered a combo of catfish filet and oysters with fries and macaroni salad. The food was fresh, tasted great and plentiful. And I couldn't finish my meal because it was so much food. I highly recommend this place. The service was good also. I finally found my new go-to fried fish spot. Maybe I'll trying the orange roughy or lobster fried the next time. And don't forget the tartar sauce. It's off the chain, not that packaged stuff like some other places have.“

“I really wanted to take a moment to recognize Emely, the General Manager, and her entire team. This was my third time coming here, and each visit I’ve had a positive experience with the staff. Everyone has been welcoming, helpful, and respectful, and I’m truly grateful for that.

This time, my order did take a little longer than expected, but Emely was very understanding and intentional about helping me. She took the time to explain everything, kept me informed, and made sure I was taken care of. I really appreciated how patient, knowledgeable, and professional she was throughout the situation.

What stood out to me most was that she didn’t just treat me like another customer she genuinely took the time to listen and help. I also believe the way her staff treats customers reflects the leadership she provides as General Manager.

“Small shop inside the mall but the wings is fabulous. The service is excellent, super nice and friendly. This was our first time try the wings there. We love the Yam fry also, fresh and yummy. Wait 10mins for frying and it worth the wait. Definitely will come back. Very satisfied, thanks for the great food and aervice.“

“California Fish Grill is one of my go-to spots when I want something fresh and filling. The fish is always well cooked, portions are good, and I like that there are plenty of sides and healthier options to choose from. Food comes out pretty quickly too. Great casual place for a quick lunch or dinner.“

“Although I’ve lived in LA forever my sister and I just visited Eee’s n Cee’s for the first time. As we are picky about our fish we went for it. While looking at the menu there was another customer in there, so I asked about the food. He told us the food was really good. So, we placed our orders and let me tell you all….the food DID NOT DISAPPOINT, but not only did the food NOT disappoint the customer service was EXCELLENT. When she handed our bags I said ooh they heavy (lol). Baby when we popped the container open the presentation spoke volume and for what you get the prices are really good. We couldn’t even pull off without going in and 😋 is all I’m going to say. I hate I didn’t ask her name but she’s the beautiful cook and owner of the establishment (1996). There are not many places you can get great food with great service but this mom and pop establishment definitely did just that. She is really sweet and KNOWS how to cook. “Checked out Anna's Fish Market right in the heart of DTLA and it was a solid spot. I like the location too since you're right in the middle of downtown with plenty of other restaurants and bars nearby. We got the fried red snapper and fried shrimp combo with fries, and both were really good. Nice crunchy batter without being too greasy. We also tried the fish & chips and grilled basa, but my favorite was actually the seafood chowder. Super hearty, packed with flavor, and had a nice kick to it. The ahi poke salad was solid too and gave us something a little lighter to balance out all the fried seafood. The inside isn't huge, but there's still a good amount of seating. Overall, really enjoyed the food and would definitely come back when I'm in Downtown again.“

“Hands down best place to go for lunch or dinner. No joke I eat lunch here 2-4 times per week. Every menu item is flavorful and cooked to perfection. Decently priced, definitely best bang for your buck around. Staff is always friendly as well. If you’re looking to get full under $12, this is the place to be.“

“The Fish was fried good just noooooo seasoning. Dessert looked good, but was the worst!!! Guy said they order them out, yea stop immediately! Lemon cake was dry and nasty. Coffee Cake was a disaster on so many levels...totally a waste of money. I don't like that, im frugal, I could have stop by the store and got a whole cake. Average, but clean and responsive staff. Beans and rice very good, the tartar sauce needs a new recipe.

“Aye listen when I tell you that these sweet and spicy garlic jumbo shrimp is ?!!! The shrimp alone is fresh. They are large shrimp and the are seasoned well. These will be a staple of mine to get every time I come here! The customer service from the Spanish guy that took my order was A-1! I wish I would’ve gotten his name.“
