“This is the first iranian restaurant ive been to that doesnt serve kabob. Its so unique, and all their dishes taste so so so good. Its like traditional home-styled dishes. Amazing. They have some modern twists to some stuff like the appetizers. And they have sekanjebin, I loved it (an apple cider vinegar drink - kinda like poppy but better lol). Im going back forsure. P.S. the ambiance is nice with the old-school iranian decorations and plants. The lamb gheimeh is to die for.“

“Koobideh meal is delicious just how I cook at home. Tahchin has cardamom in it which I'm not used to, but it is still good. The ghormeh sabzi is good but lacking some lemon flavor for me. Ask for extra Omani lemon/lime to squeeze into the stew. House doogh was very good. Owner Reza is very nice and friendly. Overall a good experience. No restroom on premesis.“

“Naar kitchen is a Persian to go place located inside of the Persian market sun market. This place is amazing to get food to go. They are amazing and service is great. I cater from them all the time and I’m always satisfied! I leave my serving dishes with them and day of my event I pick it up already filled with food I ordered and decorated! Guests always tell me how delicious the food. If you want delicious quality persian food to have at home or for your event this place is the place!“

Sogol's plate is a great business run by great women and I would definitely recommend their to-go orders for busy students as the ordering and pick-up process were super easy. I ordered the Kotlet sandwich and it was super flavorful. You will not be disappointed and the portions were quite filling. Can't wait to order more amazing meals in the future!“

“Taste of Tehran was my first time eating at a restaurant in Tehrangeles, and it was an awesome choice. This was definitely one of the best Middle Eastern restaurants I've been to in LA. Everything was so great. And yes, I ate a lot of food on the first day here. I started off with some of the stews that included gormeh sabzi, the gheyme, and ash reshteh, which were all very tasty. The surprise hit to me was the Lentil Quinoa Salad. Seriously, one of the best salads I've ever had. It was sweet, refreshing, and savory all at the same time. No words to describe. And then the meats: the koobideh and soltani plate, just fabulous, along with that lentil rice. I can honestly say that Persians make the best rice out of all Middle Eastern countries! Even the barberry rice was amazing. Never had a rice this sweet and fruity before! Overall, an amazing experience. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Don't be fooled by the looks of this place. It looks like a quick, over the counter order type of restaurant, but the food is top notch. Even Anthony Bourdain has been here! “Seriously delicious food, and very friendly service. Perfectly cooked lamb and filet mignon kebabs. I will need to return to try one of the stews. Specialty salads and rice dishes were really good, and an excellent pistachio ice cream to finish.“
