“I feel so lucky to have this bakery in the South Bay. It is INCREDIBLE to say the least.

Highly recommend the following:

- Tomatoes Cheese Sourdough Bread: You get the satisfaction of their sourdough but with a savory and sweet addition with the tomatoes and cheese. It blew my mind.

- Jar Cakes: I've tried their Mixed Berry, Ruby Chocolate, and Apple Pie (preference in this order). Mixed Berry is my favorite so far--light and fluffy with a gentle tang from the fruits. Ruby Chocolate was pleasantly surprising; not heavy or decadent at all. Apple Pie was good but I thought the apple chunks were too raw.

- Focaccia: I've only tried the Margherita variation but I doubt you can go wrong with any of them. The slices are HUGE and made from the sourdough bread so you get all the flavors.

- Cookies: My parents liked the oatmeal chocolate ones the best; not as sweet as the regular chocolate chip. The butter cookies are also very light and not sweet.

If you can't decide what to try, ask for a sample. They let you sample EVERYTHING; the quality of service is insane.

It's not really a sit down cafe (no chairs or tables). You pick up what you want and gtfo.“

“I've enjoyed Moonbowls food over a dozen times now, and I must say that I find their food is very high quality and tastes consistently great. Their bowls are well prepared, with great attention obviously paid to presentation, cleanliness, and nutritional value. Their customer service is outstanding, and ordering is a breeze using their website. I've had some orders delivered and received promptly, warm and well-packaged. Other orders I've picked up myself and their automated self-serve system is secure, clean, and easy to use. My only issue has been on a few occasions, parking has been very limited due to the number of delivery drivers waiting for orders. The location, though in an obscure location near the airport, is safe, friendly, well-lit, and has a clean, gender neutral bathroom for patrons. There is no in-store dining, but if you request utensils when ordering, dining in-car is easy. Please support this business as their hard work providing healthy food options at a reasonable price serves an important role in our local community.“

“Yummy, creative food! Only thing I didn’t like - we had reservations for the patio at 8:30 PM. When we got there they told us that they stopped seating outside. We had initially opted for the patio, because we knew that it was pretty loud inside and we wanted to talk (my friend and I). Begrudgingly we accepted the table indoors. Shortly before we left, around 9:45 - they started seating people on the patio. I felt not taken seriously, to be honest.“

They have a few tables outside, the same amount inside, and a sushi counter bar. The staff were all very friendly and helpful during our meal. Both of us ordered the omakase and the fishes were all great. And for the price of $110/person it was perfect for a date night! They also include a sake pairing with the omakase for an additional charge. We went for a bottle of sale with our meal. I highly advise you to get a reservation because this place is very popular.“

“I had the Chicken Mix Bowl with the smokey chipotle sauce and it was AMAZING. I am allergic to dairy, gluten, and soy so being able to not worry about that with my meal was so nice. I also have ARFID (avoidant restrictive food intake disorder) and have a really hard with certain textures, usually chicken is really hard for me to eat but I had no issues with this chicken!! The texture was consistent all the way through, pulled apart really easily, and was just overall amazing. The portions are really good and the food is very flavorful. I'm really happy with my meal. This is an excellent gluten free bakery! The muffins, donuts, and overall baked goods are always good. They have some vegan options as well though these are mostly constrained to their bread. They also offer espresso and other coffee drinks (Matcha coming soon). Would definitely recommend. Make sure to come early morning as most baked goods are sold out closer to their closing time.
