There's a jungle gym, pathways through the orchards to a variety of seating, sand pits with bull dozers and dump trucks, a large fire pit in the center of it all beside a pond for the ducks, indoor seating as well as a observation deck. If you've got any bit of curiosity, it is certainly worth the visit.“

“We went this evening to be so disappointed. Normally order Fish n Chips unfortunately they changed their brand and most of all Quality. If I wanted a Gortons Fish Fillet with minced fish meat then I would of bought a box from super Market and served those with Oreidas fries at home. Usually they serve nice pieces of Cod. Always in the past been Good. Tonight's Quality and Quantity was lack there of. $18.50 for 1 Piece of minced Fish and my husband had literally 16 bits and pieces of French fry on his plate. He was still hungry when we left. According to waitress there have been several complaints so I'm glad we aren't only customers to complain. Waitress took our Dinner off Bill we paid for our beverages and tipped her nicely because it's not her fault. Word to the Owner: In this economy when people want to dine out and come to spend their hard earned money on a nice meal Don't Cut Corners on your Quality of Food. Otherwise you will find customers will make other dining choices and boycott your business and eventually your business will suffer. We won't be back anytime soon. “Guad’s Tacos and Beer is a small, clean Mexican restaurant. The atmosphere is very chill. They have a vast selection of beers on tap and there are a few TVs around the restaurant displaying sports games. You order at the counter and the kind staff bring the food out to your table. There is a chips and salsa bar where you can help yourself. They have an excellent selection of vegetarian and vegan options on their menu. Their menu features vegetarian/vegan burritos, quesadillas, tacos, nachos, and more. They offer three different kinds of beans (black, pinto, and refried), all of which are vegan. They even offer soy chorizo as a plant based protein option. The staff is very open to customizations to their menu options (i.e, adding fries to your burrito, turning your burrito into a bowl, etc.). My go to order is their vegetarian burrito with grilled veggies added. I usually alternate between their black and refried beans. I usually pair my burrito with their delicious horchata (vegetarian). It’s very creamy, perfectly spiced and sweetened, and refreshing. The burrito is very large and can even be shared between two people for a lighter meal. All of the ingredients are perfectly seasoned and balanced. The chips and salsa bar is very tasty and fresh. They have a wide variety of different salsas and condiments. My only gripe is that none of the salsas are particularly spicy, so I usually add some of the habanero hot sauce that is on each table to my burrito for an extra kick. The staff prepares the food quick and you can even order online ahead of time at guadsdavis.com if you’re in a hurry. My meal usually comes out to under $15 which is perfect for college students on a budget. Being that it is a very short walk from campus, I would highly recommend Guad’s to all of my fellow vegans and vegetarians.“

My family and I live 2 hours out of Davis and stop by here on the way too and from Tahoe whenever we go ski in the winter. I’ve probably gotten the tacos over 10 times and they are the exact same every time. Potatoes are thinly cut, the cheese is perfectly crispy, and the cabbage slaw covering the entire taco is to die for! “Despite being in a tiny food truck right next to the Silo bus hub, Shah's Halal Food punches miles above its weight in terms of food, service speed, and convenience for a regular student like me. Yes, theres other places on campus, but none are THIS good and THIS close to where I actually have stuff happening on a regular day. All the Gyros ive tried from this place have been well worth their price; having amazing food within a few minutes of walking is priceless to me.

Try it if you ever swing by the Silo, they'll have amazing food even if the UC Davis-provided seating isnt the best in the world. 9.5/10 would absolutely recommend (though you shouldn't sit on the concrete seats too long, ill admit.)

“Having had the pleasure of eating street tacos up and down the coast from Baja to the Mission, I will say that these are… fine. Al Pastor were a bit better than Carne Asada, but both meats were room temp, nowhere near hot, and the corn tortillas were straight from the bag, not heated at all. Taste was pretty good and portions plentiful.

Chicken burrito was good; meat was freshly stewed and hot; more rice than necessary, good beans, and the salsa bar inside has a rainbow of options.

It’s popular and the patio is mostly shaded and wonderful.
