Not your regular everywhere tacos. These tacos were homemade recipes. I had the carne asada, pork with potato (puerco con papa) & beans with cactus (frijoles con nopal). It's a week later that I tried these tacos and I can't stop talking about them. My favorite was the beans with cactus. Soooo good. Also, the atmosphere was just so nice and lively. I truly enjoyed every minute of my visit here. Thank you Villa's Tacos, we will return.“

“We stopped by while visiting LA, in search of good local tacos and Taco La 26 did not disappoint!!! The tortillas were fresh, the salsa was delicious & the al pastor was my favorite! I love that they have free roasted potato’s and onions, so no matter what you get a filling meal.

You order at the food station then pay at the counter with the square machines. No where to sit but honestly they’ll be gone before you could sit down.

It is a block from skid row, & as tourist we weren’t familiar - but like anywhere else, just pay attention to your surroundings. The location is gated and there’s plenty of parking.

“It’s 6:40 on a Saturday night and I’m alone in this taco shop. I can’t understand that. Maybe it’s a K-town secret.
The food has excellent flavor. I ordered the carne asada bowl. The crunchies in top are special. It’s delicious, but the steak is a little chewy. It’s a lot of food for a reasonable price. The red salsa is super tasty, but use caution with the yellow salsa. She’ll make you cry.
I’ll probably come back tomorrow and order the chicken.
The employers are sweet. The shop is clean.“

“Been meaning to hit this place, but always pass them up. Glad I stopped by, they got some good eats here. Tried the Vamipro with bistec and potato. Nice and crispy hand made tortilla. Potatos were healthy cut pieces and soft. Also had the Guisado sampler and man they are not shy with the servings. I definitely recommend the sampler plate if you are wanting to try the different options of guisados. For this location early is better as they do sell out of items on the early side. They also have restaurant where you can get there goods as well.“

“WORTH ALL THE HYPE!

Sadly that also meant be prepared to wait in long line especially on peak dinner time, which was right at their opening time. We did come on Saturday which probably made it worse.

Nothing fancy, it’s basically occupying a spot on the Pavilion’s parking lot at Hollywood. Quite limited chairs provided so it’s not uncommon seeing people eating while standing or using their car’s trunk.

We got their crowd’s favorite Ribeye and Flank Steak, both of which were indeed so so good in their own ways. Chunky juicy meats on top of the blue corn tortilla. Everything’s cooked fresh to order and they didn’t go complicated with sauce on top of your taco, which even made the meat more stand out, being so flavorful on its own.

If you felt like us and wanna try something beyond beef, certainly go for their Al Pastor, which was also luscious and I’d definitely come back again for.

Don’t forget opt for extra melted cheese on your taco!“

“First off, Terrific Customer Service at the Long Beach, CA location! The manager is amazing. So helpful with recommendations when asked, provides great detail, and is so enthusiastic about the incredible menu. Tocaya at 2nd & PCH has lovely, fresh, bright, clean food. The menu is unique and flexible. You get to choose the protein you want, the cheese you want, whether or not you want your dish to be vegan. So many options and super tasty food! My friend really enjoyed the VEGAN Asada & VEGAN Tinga tacos. I loved my Taco Salad with gluten-free, battered & fried mahi-mahi (that was so, so scrumptious) with Queso Fresco. I swapped and got the cilantro lime dressing (instead of the roasted poblano dressing) and my bowl of goodies was delicious. We shared and relished the Street Corn and the (VEGAN) Queso & Chips. We were both shocked to find the Queso was VEGAN; it’s that good! We also tried the vegan Crema, just to check it out — SO yummy. AND the obviously homemade chips were mouthwatering. “This place was phenomenal. The staff and owner were so friendly and engaging. The food was top tier. I had the street tacos and Avocado rolls. The tacos were portioned really well and the shredded beef was flavorful. The Avocado rolls tasted so fresh and the roll was light and fluffy. I could eat the roll without any fillingb, thats how good it was. The sauce that came with it was good as well. The fresh juice was a winner as well. The customer service, price, portion size, and freshness of the ingredients makes this place 5 star. I will definitely visit again and recommend this place as 10 out of 10.“

“I tried the shrimp and fish tacos. They were decent, but honestly overpriced for what they are. The staff was friendly, the food came out quickly, and the patio is a nice place to sit. However, inside the restaurant it was hard to breathe because of the strong smell of fried oil, like the ventilation was not working well.

Parking can also be difficult, although there are paid parking options nearby. The tacos were okay, but the fish was too soft and covered in batter, so I couldn’t really taste the fish itself. The vegetables were fresh and nicely cut, and the sauces were good, but there were no extra toppings or salsa station like in many other Mexican taco spots.

Overall, it’s not a bad place, but for the price, I personally would not come back for these tacos.“

“Dude, I’m really impressed with this little spot. The food is flavorful, fresh, and not greasy, and the gentlemen working here are kind Sinaloenses who are easy to talk to. Authentic Mexican food without the fluff. The tacos are fairly priced and GOOD, the gringa is insane if that’s your thing.

If you’re looking for something a bit lighter, I highly recommend the bowl. The flavors are spot on, the portions are generous (easily enough for two meals), and it’s hearty without being heavy.

This is my new spot. Maybe I’m a little biased since my family is also from Mazatlán, but trust me, this place is authentic and you feel good spending your money here.“

“I visited Tacos Tumbras a Tomas at Grand Central Market in Downtown Los Angeles.

I ordered the carnitas tacos, which are one of their specialties.
The pork was flavorful and tender, and the portion was surprisingly large.
They also asked whether I wanted the salsa spicy or mild, which was nice because I could choose it based on my preference.

The amount of meat was so generous that one order was more than enough to fill me up.
They also provide extra tortillas, so you can make additional tacos with the generous amount of meat.

The tacos were delicious, filling, and reasonably priced. I was especially impressed by the portion size for the price.
