“They did an amazing job with my grandmother's 75th birthday cake. It was a lemon cake with lemon buttercream and lemon curd. It tasted so fantastic. Everyone was giving compliments on the cake design and flavor. My grandmother was in love!! People even complimented the fondant which was surprising haha.“

“Fabulous 👌!!! This is my favorite bakery. Whenever I'm in charge of picking up a cake for any special occasion, only the strawberry cake with almonds will do. The cake is perfect every single time.

“Today was my time visiting this location the woman at the counter comes out a little rude .. I asked a question by it being my first visit.. I asked were the cookies in the counter day old she snapped in her response saying they would be in the basket if they were .. maybe she was having a bad day .. but I will be coming back everything I ordered was excellent. “My family and I were in town for my brother's birthday and needed a cake that could feature his DJ logo (shameless plug—Raulie Smilez, go check him out! 😉).

I searched for cake shops nearby and came across Maksen. After seeing their stunning designs, I knew I had to give them a try. I’m so glad I did because the chef/owner was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to bring my vision to life. Not only did the design turn out amazing, but she also worked with me on pricing, had a quick turnaround, and the cake itself was absolutely delicious. We all loved it!“

“It was my first time here, and this place was pretty busy. A lot of people were picking up cakes and buying cakes like the mango cake that was freshly made.
It's not too big on the inside, and there was only one lady who was helping everyone. They had a special going on, but 5 get one free.
I purchased a bunch of snacks for me and the family. One of my favorites is the pineapple cookie, which has actual pineapple on the inside. They had sponge cakes and peanut/ sesame candy. They also had bbq bun, which is always a go-to. They also had a mochi walnut cake that was delicious.“

Location is hard to find parking, but anyone can take the bus!“

Normally it's to the brim, not sure why it was so low. Perhaps the ice cream was melted more than normal. No issue, both of the workers working the afternoon shift were attentive, understood my concerns and worked out a remedy for me. Very much appreciated! “We found this cute cafe on Google and it was just what we wanted. A perfect place for a low-key cup of coffee and delicious pastry on a Saturday morning with a friend ( my daughter:-). Just FYI, there are only a couple of tables inside, and the parking lot is small and shared, but there is street parking. Arbi the owner was really nice and our almond croissants and lattes hit the spot. I work in Glendale and will definitely stop in again.“
