“I got lost in the area, and stopped into this place, I wanted so many things, they have salad on such a hot day to deep-fried sushi mexi rolls, with steak or chicken , they offer tons of sauce, I got the house margarita, great poor. Staff was incredible, I am disabled and they helped me with my service dog to the patio. I got the crab tostada it was to die for, and they have a great choice of sauces. It was fresh and so yummy, I might be back for dinner. Best spontaneous spot ever. They were very fast and fresh! 💯🔥 5 stars.“

“We celebrated Father’s Day at Cap’t Loui and it was truly an amazing experience from start to finish. Our server, Aung, went above and beyond to make sure our family was well taken care of along with the rest of the team, they made sure our water glasses were always full and our dump buckets were emptied promptly, so we could just relax and enjoy our meal.

The food, as always, was delicious fresh seafood and great flavors that keep us coming back. But what really makes Cap’t Loui stand out is how they genuinely care about their guests. I was so impressed by the extra touches: the restroom has mouthwash and there’s a hygiene station stocked with toothbrushes, hair ties, lotion, stain remover, and even tampons.

It’s rare to find a restaurant that doesn’t just feed you well but also thinks about your comfort and little unexpected needs. For me, dining here felt like more than just having lunch it was a thoughtful, comfortable experience that made our Father’s Day special.

“Our take-out fish and chips were disappointing. Chips were undercooked and not crisp. The fish under the brown hard crust was OK but the whole presentation was unlike any light crispy dish our family has ever had as fish and chips. Not a repeat meal for us.“

“Note: I'm not sure why the hours show as closed, but I drove by on a Sunday and it was open.

Parking:
Ample parking, they have their own lot.

Atmosphere:
Very casual and chill. They have some tables and seats inside. The owner is a really nice lady and she let me bring my dog inside so that I didn't have to leave him in the car while waiting for my takeout order.

Food:
I ordered the set that comes with 1 fish, 2 shrimps, 2 oysters, and 2 scallops. I also ordered a side the fried zucchinis. Everything tasted great! The fries are a bit soggy, but I feel this is how they are at any fish and chips restaurant. The order also comes with all the condiments (ranch I think for the zucchinis, tartar sauce, lemon slices, salt packet, malt vinegar, shrimp cocktail sauce, and ketchup.

The serving size is also a lot. This alone was enough to feed at least 2 people (possibly more for small appetites).

Definitely will be going again.“

“This is prob our fav seafood boil place in the Bay Area. We got the Ray’s combination bag and the garlic fries. Def both had good flavor and not too salty. Also, if it’s your bday they will give you free ice cream.
Fyi on our recent visit, they did automatically add tip into our receipt even though it was just two people. It was for 15%. We liked the service though, so we didn’t mind.“

“We came on Thursday for the half off on wine and they were out of the first three choices we made, so that was disappointing. The wait person was excellent though and did her best to please us. We shared an entrée and a salad which we enjoyed!“

“It was a great dinner. We took another couple out for my birthday. The friends mentioned that it was my birthday and the waiter said that merited a free bowl. I was going to order the ahi tuna bowl anyway, so my bountiful and delicious bowl was free. I also had points because I am a rewards member. We had a free appetizer of calamari. And I was given a free birthday dessert. I wasn't counting on any of that, but the gifts were very much appreciated and makes me even more eager to keep coming back to Pacific Catch in Mountain View. “We came early evening and enjoyed our food. I went with tofu and veggies, and my friend got steak and chicken. We also got a radish roll and a Philly roll. The food was very enjoyable, though the bite of steak I took from my friend's plate felt a little dry. As we kept eating, they turned away a few people, and we leaned they had run out of sushi rice when we asked to order a couple of rolls to take home. This was surprising because they would still be open for several hours. We ran out of tea and had to wait longer than expected to get someone's attention to pay our bill. They were quite friendly, and I would consider going back if I was craving a hearty dose of dietary fiber again as I really did enjoy my own plate.“

“We had a group of 8, and we got a great table in the side room, which was pretty quiet. Service was great except they started asking if we wanted to take home leftovers while some of us were still eating. Just a pet peeve of mine. Wait until everyone is done before clearing plates or offering boxes. The food is always excellent and they always get the orders correct, even with modifications.“

“I'm so glad I discovered this restaurant! My friend and I really enjoyed our dinner here. We split the bruchetta special, which featured burata, peaches and sliced almonds. It was amazing. For dinner I had the Cappellaci (housemade butternut squash tortellini), which was delicious. My friend had the Pennette Vodka, which she also enjoyed. The service was excellent: warm, friendly, and very professional. I plan to bring my husband here for date night sometime soon!“

“Walked in not expecting much but was greeted lovingly by a sweet family running shop by themselves. They seemed delighted that we were eating In and the small homey setting really felt like they inviting us to sit at their table. The spam masubi was incredible, served fresh, with a sweet sauce, and a little touch of pork sung in there made all the difference. I got the wagyu beef with egg meal. It also came with that signature sauce and the meat was perfectly seasoned and tender. As we left, packing up the leftovers off the heaping plates of food, the father ran out to give us some extra sauce and make sure we didn’t leave without knowing how much we were appreciated. The incredible food and the family’s hospitality truly made it feel like I was eating a home cooked meal with my grandparents and I would love to come back and support them more!“
