“I recently celebrated a special occasion at Ettan, a gem of Cal-Indian cuisine, and it was an unforgettable culinary experience. We indulged in their unique dishes, each one a delightful fusion of California freshness and traditional Indian flavors. The Signature Plate was a true highlight, Cast Iron "Monkey Buns" served with Butter and Spiced Eggplant Chutney were a revelation - fluffy, savory buns paired with a tangy and aromatic chutney that left us craving for more. For mains, the Kabocha & Green Mango Curry with Ghee Rice was a standout dish, perfectly balancing sweetness with subtle spiciness, while the tender coconut dessert provided a refreshing and satisfying conclusion to our meal. Not only was the food exceptional, but the service was also impeccable. The staff at Ettan ensured that every aspect of our dining experience was flawless, making us feel truly pampered and special.Overall, Ettan exceeded our expectations and made our special occasion truly memorable. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking an extraordinary dining experience that celebrates the modern Indian cuisines. Five stars without hesitation!“
“Wow I was blown away! The workers are extremely nice. They gave us potatoes and corn on the house because we mis read what the meal comes with. We insisted they add it to our tab but they refused. That enough says a lot. The sauces are Aahhhmazzzingg. Almost like a glaze like sauce. So much flavor. Everything was fresh and tasteful. Recommend 10000 percent !“
“We ate at La Viga Seafood & Cocina Mexicana. It was nice. I thought it would be a bit fancier because I saw it recommended somewhere. The seafood dish with different kinds was really good, especially the shrimp. The tacos cost $6 each, which seemed a lot, but they tasted great. The chips were the best part—they were not greasy and very crunchy. They gave us two kinds of sauce; the green one was the best. The cold beer was also really good with the food. Even though I expected something a bit different, we liked it a lot and want to go back to try more dishes.“
“Interesting Chinese restaurant. Been there twice. A large selection of dishes - some very tasty, some for everyone. The portions are large (as was noted, many take two dishes for three), the price category is average, the staff is wonderful - friendly and helpful. The restaurant is quite clean. The only thing that didn't please me was the toilet. I wish it was cleaner there. You can take food to go. I was pleased that they thoughtfully provided you with napkins, cutlery, and even fortune cookies.“
“Defintely Poke'd Out after the lunch. Ordering method is broken down nicely and listed down well in the menu. It goes like Base + Poke + Mix-in + Sauce + Add-ons. I have chosen the medium sized bowl where I got 4 scoops of poke instead of mentioned 3, all the sizes get additional scoop as complementary. Chose couple of miso shrimp and spicy crab(it was spicy indeed) scoops. Tofu medley was not that great, tough to satisfy vegetarians or vegans. I felt the quantity was overwhelming for one person, small would be more than enough. Priced around $20 for the medium, it's on the expensive side, but the diverse selections make it recommendable. Note that it’s only a to-go restaurant.“
“Stumbled upon this spot because my girlfriend and I were looking for a quick take out place. We found parking really close and ordered through a tablet. We got our food in 15 minutes! We got the spam musabis, chicken katsu and bbq chicken plate and the short rib chicken bbq plate. The portions are huge and the service was really nice. They also gave us a stamp card so after ten orders you get one for free! Definitely will be coming back.“
“Great food, clean and nice place and warm staff. I ordered it for lunch on door dash and I liked it so much that I brought my kids for dine in the next day. The steak, curry noodle soup, shrimp plate, their salad and the peanut butter dressing were amazing. The plates are decent size and heartily.“
“My favorite Mexican food around. Everything I’ve tried is delicious and fresh. I don’t eat meat but the fish and vegetarian options have been amazing.I love their fish tacos … fresh fish and the flavors are so fresh with mango and avocado and just the right amount of salsa, so it doesn’t cover the flavor of each ingredient which I think that’s the problem at some other places. Their aguachiles was mouthwatering and had a nice kick ?️ but they adjusted the spice level to my weak palate ? still had a kick! Their Gordita’s was my latest order. They have a vegetarian option with papas and nopales (that option isn’t available online but no problem on the phone or in person. I think there are less options online tho). They’re also kind and welcoming, great customer service. And todos hablan español y siempre me atienden genial. Will go back anytime I want Mexican food.“
“We love coming to this place! A nice ambiance, amazing craft cocktails, and outstandingly fresh seafood. They run happy hour almost daily, and our fav day is Tue because they offer half off on their 4 oyster offerings. Highly recommend this “
“One of the most memorable dinners I had with family. Out of the world Branzino is my top pick of all. My wife picked up Lamb rack and that was also really good. She said it was juicy and tender and perfectly done for her taaste. Kids had similar experience with their food. Drinks were great, environment and sevice were top notch as well. I live closeby bit did not know about this litle gem. I am planning to come more often to celebrate family events. I realize thay have a big room in the back and that is very helpful.“
“Mumu always hits the spot! This was our first time at the Foster City location. We normally patronize the Pleasanton location, but as we were coming from SFO, we thought we’d try this location.First off, they have outdoor hot pot tables available; we didn’t do it this time, but next time for sure! The restaurant staff is great here, very friendly and go above & beyond… there’s also ample parking available too.The veggies and meat are all fresh and fantastic and the sauce bar is loaded. We’ll definitely be back!“
“Bustling Chinese restaurant that is very popular with locals. Not a lot of tables, so it fills up fast. Small parking lot makes it different to find a spot. Expected more from the food, as everything was a bit sweeter than expected. Fast and friendly service.“
“We had a great dinner with old friends and it was quiet enough to actually hear each other! Beautiful spot by the water, great service, and the food was quite good. I had the teriyaki skirt steak which was perfectly done and delicious. My husband's halibut was good as well. The bread and Mediterranean platter were just ok but the Fritto Misty was good. If you want to go to a really crowded, noisy, popular place, this isn't it. But it's busy enough, the food is decent, the service is great, and the ambiance is really nice. I'd definitely go back.“
“It's been almost 8 months since we returned to Rustic House. We started off with the clam chowder and we weren't disappointed. The seafood pasta and mahi mahi taco was SO delicious and fresh. Mauricio was our host and he did a superb job. With so many restaurant to choose from in San Carlos, we hope to come back soon.“
“We went in at around 8.37pm when they were taking the last call. Despite that there was never a point where they rushed anything and the waiter was super sweet - she took good care of us. We ordered Samosa salad and Palata with veggie curry. Everything was great.“
“Highly recommend! My colleague said the steak was the best he'd ever had. Lobster Bisque was the best I ever had, and I'm from New England. No big deal, but I wanted to give future diners that Uber or GPS, you will get directions to the hotel across the parking lot. :). Enjoy!Vegetarian options: They had a vegan entree on the menu which is rare for a gathering of 20-30 people.“
“Emelina's is a great Peruvian food joint. The service is brilliant. Everything on the menu looked delicious and left us confused as we wanted to order everything. We devoured the ceviche and grilled fish. It was cooked to perfection. We will be back to try out the rest of the items on the menu.“
“Great food and service, atmosphere is clean just old. Crunchiest and best tasting cod ive had in the bay area. Fries are good not super crispy could be better but the fish is tops. Chowder is delicious just like mama used to make. Calamari is good too very fresh.“
“Came here with a group of work colleagues, and we had a great time! Wonderful atmosphere with excellent service and food. I highly recommend getting the brussel sprouts if you go. They're amazing! The only issue was parking, which required a little bit of diligence and patience to find a spot, but it was definitely worth it!“
“The menu at Rincon Sabroso is a masterpiece in itself, showcasing a wide range of dishes that highlight the richness of their cuisine. The attention to detail and the use of fresh, high-quality ingredients were evident in every bite. I had the pleasure of sampling several dishes, and each one was a work of art.“
“I tried the traditional menu items and got enchiladas and chile verde. So delicious! The service was excellent, I believe it was the owners who cooked and served my to-go order. By the way the to go it's packed exceptionally well. They care about their excellent service! The prices are all very respectable. Beyond that the fresh ingredients stand out, and the fresh tortillas-beyond delicious! Myself and my client loved the food. I can't wait to go back and explore the menu more.“
“We were craving a carbonara but we tried plenty of other items on the menu as well. We must have been hungry because we ordered a garlic shrimp and a bruschetta for appetizers. Then a risoto, bolognese, tortellini and a medium pizza Pompeii. For dessert we shared a limoncello tartufo. Service was great. The style was more of an old school Italian, nice sauces, perfectly cooked pastas. The pizza bread was thick kind and the toppings tasty. Our favorites would be the tortellini and bolognese but the rest were equally nice. The dessert was divine and I am usually not a fan of lemon. Bread is served with dinner with butter and a nice dipping sauce.“
“I've been coming here for years and the food has always been delicious. I would always recommend coming here to eat because their takeout is always less quantity than what they have when you dine-in. The lunch meals are always a perfect proportion and their dinner never disappoints. There is a plethora of vegetarian options and they are very accommodating to fit dietary restrictions.“
“My wife and I enjoy eating at fish's wild for few years now. We live at the Markham apartments and really say that it's been one of the biggest perks of living there is the proximity to the restaurant. The restaurant itself is not fancy and customer service is definitely above average but nothing too wow factor. But the food is really outstanding and the portion sizes last a while. I get the chicken katsu there which is a mountain of fried chicken cutlets and the sauce is great. The also always prepare my food in under 10 minutes and I would sometimes call and walk there (4 minute walk) and when I arrive the food is ready. The price is good relative to the portion and not to mention that you get two large sides for all the plate entres. My wife raves on their baramudi fish and gets it weekly. I highly encourage people that want tasty food for a good price and timely service.“
“I’ve eaten here twice. First time was summer of 2023 with my old co-workers and last time was a New Year’s Eve dinner with my boyfriend! The vibe and aesthetic is upscale, romantic but casual! It’s great for dates, anniversaries, and big groups. The chandeliers are both inside and outside in the patio. They have a fireplace in the back with beautiful tables too. ? Linda Lima did a great job designing this restaurant and if you ever see the owner, Bella, say hello to her; she is just lovely! ?“
“Love the food and experience. A fusion of seafood boil and Asian spices. Dump the bag on the table and go to town. Don't miss our on the garlic noodles. Ot is a good casual place for a group dinner.Parking: Big lot. Strip mallKid-friendliness: If your kids are into seafood, they will have a blast“
“This place was amazing, the lomo saltado was so tasty and delicious that I asked for an order of it to go, that’s other than the one I ate.The yuca frita, el arros chaufa (might of misspelled that, see picture was phenomenal. We were visiting family and they recommended this restaurant.A must try restaurant and embody the Peruvian culture, oh yeah the decorations were nice also. See all pictures“
“I ate lunch today at Thai Spoons on El Camino across from Toyota Sunnyvale. Basil Chicken was tasty and cooked perfectly. Panang Beef flavor was OK but the beef was very chewy so either Thai Spoons purchases poor quality beef or they overcook it. But it was awful. Too bad.The prices are quire reasonable -- $15 for rice and two entrees. $14 for rice and one entrée. The prices do not include drink but do include tax.Thai Spoons is a family run business for years. The decorum is OK and small. The employees are pleasant but I suppose one of them should have asked how my food was so I could be honest.Free parking in front and back.“
“IThis was our first time at Pacific Catch and we will definitely be back. We were able to get a same day reservation easily and were greeted, and seated promptly. The waiter was attentive and food was served quickly as well. We didn't love the Asian spice on the coconut shrimp appetizer, but the Miso Black Cod and Yellowtail dinners were awesome! Loved the sides as well, especially the black rice with mushrooms. The blood orange margarita was also excellent.“
“If you’re looking for a place with authentic Vietnamese cuisine, you’ve found it. The people here are kind and genuine. I have nothing but positive things to say about the culture they bring to this area. Do not miss out on an opportunity to eat here. Especially if you’re from out of town!Kid-friendliness: They don’t mind kids. All types of families here.Wheelchair accessibility: It’s all tables you can remove the chair from and put a wheelchair“
“Great birthday celebration dinner. Very good appetizer, calamri, grilled octopus, bruscetta and delicious main dishes, spagetti bolognese, seafood risotto. Creme Brule and napolean for dessert and all served with a smile and attentive service. We will return and highly recommend.“
“Really a great and cozy place for delicious sushi and dinner. Very romantic and I would recommend it as a sensual dinner experience for that 3rd or 4th date! ?Food is priced around $10-20 a plate. I went with 3 others and we all got whatever we wanted and paid around $45-60 each with tip.Parking: Parking located behind the sushi restaurant! Area is blocked off and labeled "For customers only"“
“Very good, delicious and above all very varied, everything we have eaten is in excellent condition in portions and above all the flavor is very Sinaloan, the prices are very affordable and the service is fast and careful, the family atmosphere is excellent ?“
“Such a guilty pleasure! It's in an odd location to buy fried chicken bur the chicken was hit, crispy and moist inside! It's take out only so no comments on the service. Location was a 7/11 type store. The other KKC I've been to was in a gas station. You don't go here for the ambiance or how the place looks. You come here to fill a craving. Food was good. The cornbread was good. I'll pass on the fries next time. I'll come back again when I'm craving fried chicken.“
“We love the quesabirrias, mango ceviche tostadas and campechana! But what brings us back us the warmth and attentiveness of the servers Liz and Karina. The owner Luptia and Arturo are a hoot! The kitchen staff Andrea and the gang are awesome.“
“If I could give this place six stars, I would! My experience at Noodle Talk was nothing short of exceptional. Their dishes are exceptional – perfectly cooked and bursting with authentic flavors. The menu offers a variety of options, and the rice noodles are a must-try. Cooked to perfection, each strand had the ideal texture, neither too soft nor too chewy. The cozy ambiance and friendly staff make dining here a delight. If you're craving delicious Chinese rice noodles, this is the place to be!“
“Great diner experience with cool looking red booths. The service was very friendly and the food was really tasty. Had biscuits and gravy, then for dessert shared a waffle with fresh strawberries and whipped cream. Yummy! We didn’t have to wait long for a table either. I highly recommend it!“
“Had lunch here with family on a Sunday - there was no one other than another couple and we love the peach and quiet at the marina. Feels like a picnic. The food is decent, not fantastic and not bad. We had the mixed platter, clam chowder and fish salad. People working in the food truck were very nice. There;s not a lot of foot traffic on the weekend - hope they survive long enough. Will return.“
“I love poke house in general and this location is one of the cleaner nicer ones, but can the new guy please put more on! I get significantly less food when he helps me. Bowls come out to over $17 for the smallest size which is normally enough to feed an adult all the other times I've been here, the food should be touching the plastic top, not safely under. Please don't sprinkles the toppings on as if they're made of gold dust, and put a reasonable amount on :) thanks!“
“Yummy! Glad I listened to the fish taco recommendations of other reviewers. The fish was perfectly tender and flavorful, and the slice of avocado and veggies were a nice contrast to the fish. The tacos were lightly grilled so had a nice crunchiness on the outside. Spouse said the chicken tacos were good too. Can't wait to go back! I will probably skip the salsa verde next time - I can't take much spice.Jamaica agua fresca was pretty good.“
“My fiancé and I enjoy coming here! This location has a nice atmosphere with a large interior, a nice outdoor space with fire heaters, as well as a bar inside.I have only tried a few food items here, but have always enjoyed getting the protein bowls (pictured is the “Mexican Grill” bowl with shrimp from tonight). Some of the cocktails are tasty as well. We recommend trying one or both of the cocktails with passion fruit.Just wanted to throw a positive review out there since we’ve been here at least five times now, and I got a couple nice photos of our food today! ?“
“Excellent Thai restaurant.Well located, easy to access via car (lots of parking) or transit (522 and 22 stop nearby). The food is good, and the menu is extensive without feeling overwhelming. The seafood is fresh and masterfully prepared. The soups are particularly good compared to other Thai places nearby. The only downside is that I would say that the medium level spice is barely noticeable, so if you like spicy food, ask for spicy. However, they offer low or no spice versions for those so inclined, and I believe the medium spice would be perfect for people trying great Thai food for the first time. The service is truly superb. I have never had such good service in the US. Service like this truly improves the atmosphere of the restaurant as it's impossible for someone to be in a bad mood! The prices are very good compared to many spots in the Bay area.Thank you for the food.“
“Nice little spot on El Camino, I enjoyed the decor of the booths. Netted Prawns were a good appetizer, Tom Yum was O.K., Pad See-Ew was very nice, Green Curry Halibut was my favorite, Tamarind Prawns were interesting, Panang Curry Chicken was spot on. I'd say 4.5, gotta round up... I did go back the very next day?.“
“Wow! 25 years of living in fremont and I just found out about this place. My family has been here once a week for the past month and plan to keep this place in rotation. Staff is friendly and food hits the spot. Giving it 5 stars because I miss places like this. Ditch the panda and come support this place.“
“Enjoyed this Japanese Izakaya very much. Super fresh delicious seafood, authentic flavors, friendly service. A great place to hang out with friends. Their rice bowls are top-notch delicious. The sashimi set is great value for money with massive pieces of fresh fish. We also ordered a okonomiyaki sampler platter with all 4 flavors to share which was great.“
“I've never tried okonomiyaki so I wanted to try this place out. This place is in a restaurant called Rokko so it almost made us miss the place when driving by since the outside sign only displays Rokko. The menu had lots of options to choose from as it's 2 restaurants in one: Rokko and Fugetsu. Shrimp & Veggie Tempura: 4.5/5A great variety of shrimp and assorted veggies! Very generous and included 4 shrimp tempura. Very fresh and crispy. Okonomiyaki Sampler: 3.5/54 mini okonomiyaki which includes Ebi mayo, Negi-tsukimi pork and Gyusuki negitama, and Cheese. The shredded cabbage base sort of reminds me of hash browns. Wish we got the noodle version AKA modanyaki!Service was amazing, our server was so friendly and was constantly checking up on our table! I'll come back to try the modanyaki next time! Check this place out if you want to try okonomiyaki!“
“Really delicious and fresh seafood spot. You order food directly on their self order screens with many different options. Service is relatively fast , like a fast food restaurant but everything is made fresh to order. The restaurant seems very efficient! We were in and out in an hour and everything was “
“My friend and I love seafood boils so we decided to try this place out for dinner. Cute decorations inside, place was clean, server was attentive, and the food came out quick. I ordered a lb of mussels and she got a lb of shrimp (head on). We both asked for a combination of the 3 sauces (medium). The cook and texture of the seafood was great. The sauce was heavy on the Cajun side which I liked and the spice level was a perfect medium. We also got the garlic noodles, it wasn't oily like most are and I enjoyed the garlic flavor. Definitely try this place if you're craving seafood!“
“Been going here since I was 17 years old. Watched the kids that help out grow through out the years. Everything in there including the decors has been the same. It’s like a Time Machine. Loved the beef fried rice and the garlic fried chicken.“
“A hidden gem in EPA! This place is pumping out awesome food! We came in a group of 7 people and sat down pretty quick. We sat outside in the patio seating and it was very nice a cool breeze came through there and the decor was nice. We looked through the menu and started to make our order. The food was good the vampiro tacos are on point I loved the shrimp ones very good! The sushi rolls they had were also smack! Enjoyed the salmon roll we had. Beer and seafood you can't go wrong with that! This place is a must try spot right next to Pal market on university before you head to the bridge. Thank you to the friendly staff and awesome chefs in back!“
