“A must visit. True to the roots of the small brewery experience in the San Diego area. Visiting Lightning feels like visiting a bit of brewing history.

There is an indoor and outdoor seating area to enjoy. The beer on tap is great! Really unique brewery styles compared to most breweries. Nice to be able to order a few types of beer I have never seen elsewhere. Of course, they have the tried and true Thunderweizen, also a must have when you visit. It really is the definition of a Souther California take on a Hefeweizen style. Fits perfectly with the great weather.

There is plenty of parking around the building, a few places large enough to bring a sizable group of people after work for a birthday. They also have some snacks that you can grab while you are here.

The staff was attentive and professional, which is always appreciated. You can also get a glimpse into the production when you visit as well, since it's a big open warehouse.“

Lots of drink options between the brewery & sour spot. Dogs allowed 🙏🏼 We had the best fried chicken sandwhich and with a dope band the other week. Want to go every weekend now…highly recommend!“

“The beers were good and the atmosphere was also excellent. There was a private event in the 'dance hall' so can't comment on that but those folks seemed to be having a good time.
The food options were good. I had the loaded nachos with BBQ pulled chicken. Pretty good.
