“One of the original Ted Ngoy Christy’s! Outstanding food and service. Friendly staff greet regulars by name. Great variety of classic donuts and unique items. Cake, yeast raised, buttermilk and old fashioned were perfect, and orange frosted cruller was something I’d never seen before. Same for the fruit burritos, which were also tasty. Decent prices as well. 6 donuts and 2 fruit burritos were less than $12. Easy parking and fast service. Worth a trip from anywhere in San Diego.“

“Very delicious donuts. Treated myself to a whip cream-filled chocolate eclair. Haven't had that in 20 years because no one made it like my neighborhood donut shop growing up, until now! Excellent prices. $9 less expensive per dozen than another donut shop 3 miles away for the same selection of donuts.“

“Just a hole in the wall donut shop offering traditional tasty donuts. I have to say with everyone describing the dough as fluffy.... they are spot on. There's something about it that's so soft and almost has the melt in your mouth feeling.
We ordered an old fashioned glazed and chocolate, as well as a chocolate twist. The gentleman that helped us was so nice and helpful. He gave us 2 donut holes for each of pur orders. It may not seem like much but this is a nice gesture for any guest.

My husband ordered the iced mocha coffee, he said it was ok. I ordered a hot coffee with cream. I have to say that the coffee was bold and good. I didn't expect that.

Definitely will be back for the good donuts and good prices!

Now that I am old enough to get my own donuts I still go here because the donuts taste the same and havent changed through the years. Super delicious! Do not get 711 donuts when this place is right next door!“

“I came here a few months ago to get donuts because my usual place was all out. I saw that they made breakfast sandwiches and thought I'd give that a try too. Turns out those sandwiches are amazing. Make sure Lin is the one behind the counter though. I've been back several times for the sandwich and there's another lady that works sometimes who makes them completely different and not as well.Lin takes what I assume is a croissant they make there, toasts it up and makes you two fresh eggs to put on top of it. You can get cheese, ham, bacon etc as well. I usually opt for the number four which is ham, bacon and cheese. It's amazing. Highly recommend this place. “Loved it! Went earlier today and I ordered an iced latte and 6 pack of filled malasadas. My coffee was great, far better than other coffee shops I’ve tried in National City, and was made surprisingly quick. The malasadas were warm and fresh, but some of the fillings were a little too artificial to my liking. Service was also great, the young girl at the front definitely gave off that Aloha vibe, and guided me through the menu as I was a little confused at first. Got my malasadas within 15 minutes, would recommend.“
