“After trying the dan dan noodles at a vegan pop-up market today, I can not stop thinking about them! The noodles, the OmniPork, the crisp veggies. Amazing. My boyfriend had the spring rolls and really liked them. I am looking forward to trying the rest of the menu because the whole menu looks fantastic! The staff was super friendly, and the portions were generous. Who can complain about vegan Chinese food? I can not, as it is challenging to find and is one of my favorite cuisines. I will continue to support this local restaurant and recommend giving it a try!“

“Ok the broth here was amazing but I was kind of forced into the filet mignon pho when I asked for the rare steak. I even ordered in Vietnamese. She insisted I have the filet.

I also got a regular cannoli which actually tastes like a good Italian cannoli that.I was hoping for not just something stuffed with frosting. “I have eaten Vietnamese cuisine throughout California, and Grandpa Tao ranks among the best. In addition to the amazing tastes, the casual restaurant is friendly and comfortable. “It's so nice to be able to order for delivery without having to use Door Dash or Uber Eats or some other delivery service. I'm a truck driver, so I don't have an address to deliver to. But my pizza was delivered right to the truck. This pizza is fantastic. The crust has the perfect crisp. Plenty of cheese, and they put the perfect amount of each topping that they don't overpower each other. The price is very reasonable. I'll order here anytime I'm in the area.“

My mom had the watermelon salad which was unique and refreshing, i had the french dip which is what i always order and is how i judge restaurants, and it was great. fries are amazing and the au jus is rosemary infused which made it delightfully fragrant but not over powering. and my mom’s espresso martini came in a chilled glass which is a nice touch. the bread was also hot and very good. oh plus excellent service! and i like that you can hear the live music but it’s not so loud. highly recommend (:“

“This was a lovely restaurant I came to for my friend's birthday. Every guest seemed to like their dish. I ordered a club sandwich (no bacon, no tomatoes) with a side of fries but I was a bit disappointed when they brought it with bacon and tomatoes. They sent it back and corrected the order, and it ended up being pretty good and very filling. The restaurant has an outdoor terrace that has a beautiful view on the pool area.“

“I recently researched a good Chinese restaurant for takeout, and it was a great experience! I called the restaurant, and the person who answered was so patient and helpful, answering every single question I had. It was really nice. I gave them a pickup time, and it was totally worth it.

We tried the Beef Lo Mein ($15.99), Shrimp House Special Fried Rice ($14.99), Salt & Pepper Shrimp ($19.99), and Homestyle Tofu ($14.99). Everything was delicious, flavorful, and perfectly salty. The portions were generous, enough for the two of us, which was amazing.

Just a heads-up: since it’s a restaurant, if you’re sensitive to salt, you might want to ask them to go easy on it. Otherwise, just drink plenty of water. Personally, I loved it! We’ll definitely be returning.“

“We do love Hana! However they do a few things that irk us. The first is they RUSH you. You sit down and they ask you a million times if you’re ready to order. Then your food comes way too fast. No separation of appetizers and meal. It all just comes out. They also put the rolls too close next to each other. And the rolls usually fall apart wince they smash the roll into the warm or cold plate interacting with the temperature of the roll. Their sushi making is just inconsistent.

Other than these specific annoyances which I will just start addressing when I come; we really do love Hana. The sushi is good but it has gone way down hill over the last year for some reason.“

“It was very easy to find and parking on the street, right in front. There was parking in the back but we didn’t use it. We found them on google and were able to peruse their menu prior to arriving. We had the large salad that was made by them after filling out a small order form with what you would like. The proteins were extra. I had the large salad and added egg and chicken. The serving was plentiful and the protein addition was hearty (4 ounces my guess). Two large salads (3 proteins total and two soft drink cans—under $40). My husband needed a restroom and they did not have one for public use. That was a drag. He had to go down the street to find one. The place was relatively clean and there were about 5 booths to choose from. The music was a bit annoying. Staff was friendly!“

Dietary restrictions: They work so hard to meet all my difficult allergies. They are always so kind.

Kid-friendliness: They are awesome and will not cook up your human or animal children.“

“We got the Tonkatsu soup, the spicy Miso with extra egg, a dragon roll, and a yellowfin poke bowl.

You do have to order and pay in advance which while, unusual isn't a deal breaker. With my poke bowl I picked the yellow fin tuna as per the cashier's recommendation and it was pretty good, including the seaweed salad (new to me). The spicy miso soup was also good, the broth taste was interesting (in a good way) and I came to like it; also, the chicken is delicious. The tonkatsu soup was creamy and the broth tasted better overall initially, but I prefer spice and would choose the spicy miso next time. Lastly, I got the dragon roll as per the cashier's recommendation as well -- she noted that while many people don't like eel, she thinks it's very good and recommended it.

My wife thought all of the food was great and wanted to put more than 4 stars but maybe not quite 5 so I would say 4.5 stars here. The only thing to mention is that there's no real server here so if you want water you have to ask for it and they aren't constantly checking up on you like one may would expect in a traditional setting. Not a bad experience at all, may ended up going back if we're in the area again.“
