“This is definitely an insiders’ spot in San Francisco. It’s usually pretty busy from the street view so I decided to try it on a Friday and it was still busy. I don’t want to talk the place up. There’s no need for that at a five star restaurant. The proprietors of the establishment have their photo up with the Mayor. Word on the street is that this place is like a religion. The food was good. Changed my mind about a few things. Made me ask, what is food in San Francisco today? Would I go there again? Yeah maybe if I had 30 minutes on a Friday, but no and not because the experience was terrible, but because they had already mastered the art of business in San Francisco if not the world.“

“One65 was an amazing discovery on our trip to San Francisco. Having spent the first half of our life in Montréal, Québec, Canada where it was hard to find a bad restaurant, we were absolutely amazed by this Bistro which looks more like a high end dining experience. The menu online & the photos attracted us to this location but we were amazed by the well timed service, the crisp white tablecloths, the table setting and the pleasant and calm atmosphere. My choices of charcuterie platter was perfectly sized; the chicken & the pork rillettes where a wonderful surprise. My husband had an onion tart with the crust as perfect as they get & which I envied. He loved his halibut, moist and tender and I raved over my grilled half lobster, so tender that I found myself munching on the shell parts as well. My bread pudding was not of overwhelming size & perfectly flavored. Don chose the Affogato (scoop of vanilla gelato « drowned » with a shot of hot espresso). We wanted to go back today but they are closed on Sundays.?“

“If you're looking for an exceptional place to get coffee and a Vietnamese Bahn Mi, you must visit Fresh Brew!

I was greeted promptly and did not have to wait long to order or wait for the food and coffee to be ready. You can tell the owner takes pride in his shop and was happy to have visitors.

The iced coffee was vibrant and perfectly balanced. Not too strong or watered down. It was refreshing drink to have on warm SF afternoon.
Instead of typical pork, I tried the chicken Bahn Mi. The baguette was crunchy on the outside and soft and moist on the inside. It was filled with fresh vegetables and pickled veggies along with the perfect amount of sauce. There was no skimping of chicken, just the right amount to make the sandwich filling.

My only small complaint would be the lack of seating. However, it's a small shop in a dense area of the City so that's to be expected.

Prices are very reasonable for the portions, no silly up charges. I would highly recommend this coffee shop for lunch. Next time I will go earlier and try one of the breakfast offerings.“

“Nice cafe with a good selection of drinks and food right off the main thoroughfare. Upon walk in you are able to see a menu showcasing all of their drinks and food. They have acai bowls, a huge assortment of pastries, crepes, etc. everything has Brazilian flair which was cool. We ordered acai bowls which are big for their size and jam packed full of fresh fruit. Honestly, one of the best acai bowls I’ve had, presentation wise and taste wise. The coffees were also good, but nothing spectacular. The light pastry we ordered was very good and fluffy. You can see the assortment of pastries as you go through the check out, as it’s a bit like a school lunch line. I highly recommend if you’re looking for a trendy but quiet spot to have a good meal and a cup of coffee.“

I recently ordered mini sfogliatelles, cannolis, (3) meter long pizzas n wonder focaccia bread to make sandwiches and their famous olive bread sticks!!! Thanks for the beautiful foods and service!!! “High quality matcha and delicious sandwiches!
We came on a trip visiting SF and stopped by for lunch. We got the strawberry cream matcha and the pistachio cream. By far the strongest matcha latte I’ve had but in the best way— you can tell they use high quality matcha.
For sandwiches we got the Tonkatsu with Pineapple and Fish Katsu with Shiso. The sandwiches were hot, flavorful and incredibly filling. We also got the crab and salmon onigiri, and would recommend the crab one.
The atmosphere feels like a cute study spot for students or to catch up with friends. Service was good as well.“

The food was delicious 👌🏻 We ordered the bacon, egg & cheese bagel and the ham & egg croissant, plus two iced blended mochas. Everything was fresh and made to order.

The place is small, which is what makes it feel so cozy and welcoming. The ladies were so kind and friendly, and you can really tell they care about the food they make. Everything tasted fresh and homemade.

“A great place to go work when you have a lot to get done. More outside spots than inside so its better on a sunny day. Its open late which is great. Never issues with the wifi bht limited charging spots.
Drinks are very yummy.
No designated parking so you will have to drive around for a spot.“

“A fantastic hidden gem in San Francisco. Excellent food, reasonable prices for the area, and always friendly owners/staff. The cafe can be hard to find off the street, as you either enter through a parking garage entrance or an office building lobby.

It can get tight inside when they’re busy with limited seating and people waiting to order, but they stay busy for a reason. I certainly will keep going back, as Sutter Street Cafe has become my go-to quick breakfast spot in SFO.“

“Amazing hole in wall. Very pleasant individuals explaing their menu. The coffee is very good; Honey Laveneder latte seems to he their signature and it doesn't disappoint. From the menu we tried the Avocado Toast and Ful plate. Both items were tasty and it was enough to share between two. The Ful came with warm bread, possibly freshly baked. It was an enjoyable experience. Definitely worth the visit and a must try.“

“Both hands up for this wonderful coffee place I happened to stumble upon, right outside the skirts of Downtown Berkeley. They're located right on the intersection of MLK and University, right behind the Indian restaurant.

This coffee place is honestly a little bit small, so please proceed with caution at all costs. But it really makes you feel cozy at home. They do have upstairs seating, but rather really limited. It will be full at times, and at times, not at all. It depends on the time that you go.

They have a wide assortment of sweet and savory pastries available as well. I got their ham & cheese scone, as well as their speciality drink, their banana cream iced coffee. I love how balanced their iced coffee is with the banana cream, which surprisingly, is made with ACTUAL banana puree made from actual bananas.

The barista who made my drink was very nice and very chill, and served it rather quick. That's what's up!

“A very cozy place in the financial district. Even though we went on a weekend, there were still a lot of people working there. Their pour over coffee is reasonably priced and they also provide coffee beans in the shop. I like the paintings they have inside. The coffee also comes with a postcard telling us where the coffee beans come from and the history, which I think is very nice. If you like coffee, I recommend giving this place a try.“

“There were three in my party. We ducked in here to take a break from the cold rain. We ordered a chai, a golden/turmeric chai, and a caffé latté, all with oat milk. It’s our first try of oat milk. We all liked it a lot. The foam on my golden chai was lovely. I’d reorder it anytime. I tried my mate’s latté with oat milk, I can recommend it. The pastries we ordered were all worth the consumption. I’m so glad there was one pretzel cheese bun left. It was delicious even though it wasn’t warm. I highly recommend them. We also ordered a quiche, a chocolate croissant, and an almond pastry. They were all superb. The almond pastry which was super light and flaky tasted like baklava more so than an almond filling. It felt good being a patron there and the inspired conversation it led to. I am sure my party was surprised I was already knowledgeable about the topic on current refugees. Walking in I was immediately heartened to see the sweetest man manning the counter offering folks to try things and explaining the food options which all smellt incredible. “Honestly I love the food, the interior, and the menu - the food is delicious, creative, a little upscale feeling and clearly a lot of attention and care is put into it from ingredients to preparation. I love the variety and seasonality, and it’s one of the few places where you can get those delicious little coconut griddle cakes, and things are easy to share and portions are nice. AND your thai coffee/tea is made with CONDENSED SWEETENED OAT MILK!!!! WHAT?! (I cannot do dairy so this is the best news ever)

Interior is super charming and the seating is very comfy and bathroom is clean, cute, service is always friendly and the staff presents well. My huge gripe - believe it or not - is the service is inconsistent. One time I went there when there was barely anyone in the restaurant, and only one person was working and, it took an eternity to get served. And then I went today, the restaurant was full, and there were two or three servers working, and literally we were getting interrupted every five minutes, asking if we’re doing OK, people coming to the table to pour water, telling us the kitchen is about to close, asking again if everything’s OK, too many concerns, etc., like too attentive to the point of not being able to have a conversation - insanely annoying. Also, the restaurant is quite small inside, and yet they blast music SO loud loudly that everyone is shouting to have a conversation, and because the space is small, you can hear your neighbors TOO WELL if they raise their voice even a little bit. REALLY ANNOYING when you’re trying to enjoy a cute lunch.“

“Came here around 9:30am from coffee. This coffee shop is in the lobby of an office building. Pretty easy to find and the staffs were very friends. The pastries looked good but we didn't get any since it is later in the morning. I ordered a Latte, 12oz. I was originally going to order their 16oz latte but the barista told me that it's a quad shot, nevermind. Good latte, not bitter, darker roast, no complains. Will definately come back again.“
