“I love this place but I ordered 2 lattes and 2 bagels and all my food was done in 5 minutes besides the pumpkin pie latte , I waited a total of 25 minutes just for the pumpkin pie latte and then it tasted like a normal latte with no pumpkin flavor. Not sure what happened but going to give them a second chance because their team was super positive and full of smilesEdit for reply: I appreciate the offer but I’m okay on the free drink , the issue wasn’t that my food and one drink was handed out early , the issue was that the ingredients in the drink that I ordered were not prepared so my self and multiple customers that ordered the same drink waited 25 minutes. The best way to fix this is to be honest and tell the customers that the ingredients for the item they ordered are not prepared and offer a different item as a substitute instead of not communicating the issue to the customer and having them wait for 25 minutes . Thank you and I appreciate your response and I hope sharing my experience can help you improve the experience for your future customers ❤️P.S the chia latte needs to be improved as well. I see multiple complaints about the chai from your customers and I also agree that it is the worse chai I have had, with that being said I would highly recommend changing your recipe or just removing it from your menu to make sure you keep your future customers happy.“

To the right of it used to be a pretty busy Chinese restaurant. All that is gone now. This morning I got really hungry and weren't quite ready for lunch yet. “MAN, OMG! This is our NEW order-from/hangout place. NOT ONLY is the owner VERY FRIENDLY, KIND & HELPFUL but the FOOD is EXCELLENT (KUDOS to the Kitchen Chef whom customers often NEGLECT/FORGET about congratulating/commending in PERSON!). VERY VERY EXCELLENT (TOP NOTCH!) tuna sandwich! This place KNOWS what they're doing!!! And, NOT too many places know HOW to make a GREAT-TASTING tuna salad! Many either put TOO much mayonnaise or make it TOO dry. Places also tend sometimes to use brand/suppliers of tuna which tastes TOO FISHY!!! However, NOT SO AT ALL here, at Jebena Cafe! Their (female) cook makes a REAL "BOMB" (THE Bomb!) of a tuna sandwiches we've tasted in a LONG time (&, TRUST us! We've tasted tuna sandwiches in MANY-a-PLACES before!). This place makes one of the BEST ! NOT too salty; NOT too creamy; BOT too dry! JUST well-balanced good-fish taste with very FRESH & CRUNCHY lettuce & JUST RIGHT, well-toasted slices of bread!!! This sandwich ALWAYS gets even a HIGHER-MARKUP/"upgrade" when you ADD their SLICED HARD-BOILED egg to it!!! Their avocado toast is ALSO WONDERFUL-highly recommended (we always order BOTH the TUNA but ALSO, the AVOCADO toast & combine them, eating one half of each then, are left with the 2 other halves to go/for later (except that one must remember that avocado tends to darken if/when not eaten fresh)!!! Finally, their MOCHA & LATTE are great!!!“

I got the porchetta sandwich and my boyfriend ordered the cauliflower banh mi and a side salad. The food came out pretty quickly but it wasn't too busy inside. The porchetta sandwich came with thinly sliced pieces of porchetta, chicharrónes, arugula, and a pesto sauce on ciabatta bread. The porchetta was seasoned well, and the generous portion of delicious and fatty slices of pork was definitely the star of the sandwich. The small, crushed up pieces of chicharrónes added a great textural contrast to the fatty and tender pork. The bread was also fresh and had a great chew without being too hard. Overall, I was happy with my sandwich and I felt like the cost was reasonable. My boyfriend wasn't really a fan of the cauliflower banh mi, he felt that it needed more sauce since the cauliflower was pretty bland. I'd come back here in a pinch and I'd definitely try other items on the menu.“

We came after lunch at about 1pm and it was quiet. Most had their laptops and were doing work. My friend and I were at the bar jibber jabbering.Steven was the bartender and not only was he a great mixologist, but he had really good recommendations. This is one of those kinds of places where you want to try their specialty drinks. Don’t do your usual stuff. I am picky and only like drinks served up so Steven asked me a few questions before making a recommendation. We had three drinks each, a cookie and beef jerky before leaving.Parking is easy and there’s plenty. Park, use the machine and grab your receipt. FYI, parking machine says to add your cell so they can forewarn you 15 minutes before your time ends; that DOES NOT WORK. Make sure you keep an eye on the time which we did.Awesome new spot (for me) and will be back!“

“Mymy is a cute little brunch place located in russian hill/nob hill. I love trying brunch places all over, and this one particularly stood out for its taste—the portions are big and the dishes are truly so delicious. My friends and I got the classic eggs benedict, frisco omelette, and the monte cristo (which is a must-try here btw) and they were all fabulous.Only complaint I have is that the staff may make you feel a bit rushed—but otherwise, a great place, and I will definitely be returning.“

“Like many place in this part of the strip - a totally understated gem. The coffee was excellent, the staff friendly, super clean place where it’s pleasant to sit.I just wish the advertising was more prominent. It took me too long to find.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes - elevator behind their second door“

“Came here for a quick bite for my kid before camp and after the eclipse! What a hidden little gem!!! Not a place to come and sit and eat. It is a TO GO place but there is one little table with two chairs. The couple are so amazing, welcoming, and caring!!! The food is delish and ready to go in just seconds! My daughter got the half teriyaki chicken and we got two orders of gyoza. The total was $12!!!! Then because they are so sweet they gave me a small sample of their beef curry. It has a little to good kick depending on your threshold for spice but the flavor is really good and the beef is super tender!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you stop by!!!“

“Situated in the iconic Ferry Building at the Embarcadero, Dandelion Chocolate offers a unique experience. I opted for the Mission Mocha, a visually stunning concoction combining spicy hot chocolate with a double espresso. While the drink was beautiful, the spices were a bit overpowering for my taste I will try the regular mocha on my next visit.“

“A much-needed eatery in SOMA! With the loss of Cafe Centro, Cafe Buenos Aires is a wonderful addition to the South Park area. This affordable lunch spot is perfect for office workers in the area. Two empanadas are about $10-$15. Plus, the restaurant itself is very walkable--3 minutes from South Park, 6 minutes from Oracle Park, and 8 minutes from the Cal Train Station. Although there is a good amount of indoor seating, I would recommend ordering to-go and eating at South Park. The empanadas taste great with some good selections. They also offer coffee and other Argentinian treats.“

Upon learning this was my first time trying Kava, the barista offered us a ceremony to try it first and explained the origin and types of Kava to me.Tried the Colada and warm special Kava. Def a fun experience that’s quintessential Berkeley / Oakland. Check them out if you are in the area.“
