“Amazing service and a small, clean atmosphere. The restaurant seats 18 people max, with one table seating 6, 2 tables sitting 4, and 4 single spots to sit facing the window. The patty was slightly disappointing on the “Cheezburger”, but the fries made up for it. Would definitely go again!“

“I ordered a cheeseburger, fries, and a cold drink. The burger was served hot and fresh with a perfectly toasted bun and a juicy, flavorful patty. “Omg ! This place is fantastic. One of the best breakfasts I've had in a long time . Simple no over the top stuff everyone else is doing just a perfect way to start the day . Easily the best French toast I've ever had !
Diane is super sweet at the counter and it was just a great experience. Which was need after a long night . I will absolutely be back when I'm back in town .“

“The food was uniformly excellent - we both enjoyed our breakfasts which provided plenty of food to fuel us until evening. Ample servings AND delicious! I’d give the service a 4.5 as it was busy time, but we needed basics like jam and extra napkins and had to wait awhile or ask a fellow diner for extras. It really was super busy and that brings me to the 4 stars for atmosphere. Although it is a really cute and inviting place for breakfast or brunch, it is very loud at peak times. Cushions on the wood seats might dampen the sound, but that is obviously not a priority.“

“The shrimp and grits are tasty. I don’t understand why the entire staff is Hispanic-like most Mexican restaurants they only hire Hispanic folks so if we are not good enough to work here I won’t spend my money here“

“Oceanview Diner was a delightful dining experience from start to finish. I ordered the potato pancakes served with sour cream, house-made applesauce, and a sausage, and every bite was flavorful and satisfying. I also had the chance to sample my husband’s pancakes and my daughter’s potato salad, and everything across the table was consistently delicious.
The coffee was fresh, hot, and the perfect complement to the meal. Overall, a thoroughly enjoyable experience with comforting, well-prepared food. I would happily rate Oceanview Diner an 8 out of 10.“

“5 stars on atmosphere since I ordered to go, but it seemed pretty peaceful and clean.
I'm a pretty no frills guy, and in that respect, the food was on point. Hashbrown were perfectly crispy, bacon was perfectly rendered and great to munch on, and the biscuts and gravy were as awesome as comfort food as I grew up with. The scrambled eggs were not overcooked or dry. I just wish I had some tabasco sauce to eat it with. Kudos for earning me as a returning customer after one trip.“

“This is a really nice neighborhood diner. The food is fresh and the staff are very friendly. We had a really nice time and really enjoyed the food. We had walked all the way down from Lombard near fort Mason. It was a healthy walk and we really worked up an appetite.“

“Food was very good, good service too. Really good location and it reminds me of a 1940s diner. Pretty good menus and selection of food. \nBut unfortunately this is probably my last visit. Which is really too bad as I really like the place and would recommend it to everyone. But, as I was leaving I noticed a sign in the widow I hadn’t seen when entering. Stating that law enforcement was not allowed if they don’t have a warrant. Well I support law enforcement and if they aren’t allowed to dine here then I won’t be back either. Too bad, I really like this restaurant.“
