“Amazing service and a small, clean atmosphere. The restaurant seats 18 people max, with one table seating 6, 2 tables sitting 4, and 4 single spots to sit facing the window. The patty was slightly disappointing on the “Cheezburger”, but the fries made up for it. Would definitely go again!“

“Was REALLY disappointed to discover Sliders had removed the self-serve bar, but I understand the difficulty of maintaining something like that, especially during the COVID era. For YEARS I used to get a double patty chili cheeseburger with fries. At the condiment bar I would add mushrooms, olives, onions and mayo. Now, no more condiment bar, or custom chili burgers, but its still a great San Francisco lunch spot. Definitely recommend.
Edit: Recently tried their Philly cheesesteak...it is the ONLY cheesesteak sandwich I can eat without adding condiments. No mayonnaise, no anything: just the seasoned meat, cheese and bun -- its perfect as is. Well done!“

“Came here after a hike. Waited about 30 minutes to get seated. Set at the bar. Food was out within about 20 minutes. The potato salad was exceptional. I loved the pickled onions in it. The Cuban sandwich was pretty good too. It was a little bit loud. It was hard to hear the person I was dining with but otherwise everything was great.“

“It was my first time trying David's Delicatessen & Diner ever and decided to stop in for breakfast and I was exceptionally impressed with the Shakshuka it was absolutly INCREDIBLE and I would Highly Reccomend eating it with the Toasted Jewish Bread. When I ran out of bread the server brought me some without any issue. It's truly amazing that this deli has been here for 74 years! We also tried the Rueben and my wife was especially impressed. I would come back again. EASY 5 Stars!“

“Fantastic food (what’s that lemon sauce on the eggs? 10/10). Sit at the counter if you can and watch the chef cook. It’s really awesome seeing how they handle the sheer volume of a weekend rush and still smile and laugh and treat each other with kindness. A little on the loud side if you’re sensitive to that kind of thing. Really good vibes and good food!“

“Always swift and attentive service. The food is prepared with care and pride which can be hard to find in SF right now. Its not your fancy diner and it doesn't need to be. The focus is on the food and the quality is much better than some more expensive diners in the City.

“Food was very good, good service too. Really good location and it reminds me of a 1940s diner. Pretty good menus and selection of food. \nBut unfortunately this is probably my last visit. Which is really too bad as I really like the place and would recommend it to everyone. But, as I was leaving I noticed a sign in the widow I hadn’t seen when entering. Stating that law enforcement was not allowed if they don’t have a warrant. Well I support law enforcement and if they aren’t allowed to dine here then I won’t be back either. Too bad, I really like this restaurant.“
