“Best Mac n Cheese!! Award Winning“
“Had this food at a baby shower. Changed my taste aversion to BBQ food. The brisket and chicken were Delicious! The brisket had a little bit more fat than what I expected, but I didn't mind -more flavor! The sauces were great. If anyone wants a catering event with BBQ, I'd highly recommend this establishment.“

“A small hole-in-the-wall gem that’s a throwback to 1976, but the food is great and the prices. Just cannot be beat, especially in the Bay Area.Things to note upfront:1. CASH ONLY – y’all, the prices are this cheap because these ancient Asian elders aren’t having to pay for the overhead of a credit/debit card machine. Stop with the indignant posts about them trying to not report their tax earnings.2. Hours – Google hours might be wrong. These are community updated, so if you’re upset at the wrong open times, go ahead and submit an edit. Their website says 11am-8pm daily.3. It is a no frills, no fancy place. This San Bruno location had about four tables inside. Two Chinese aunties (these ladies had to be at least 65+) managed the orders and the cooking.4. They are called Hawaiian Drive Inn. No where does it say they are a drive-thru!Food: We had a Katsu mini-plate, a full sized Loco Moco, one spam musubi, and two canned sodas at a price of $26.95!!! Both plates came with macaroni salad and rice. And it was delicious. Katsu was crisp and had great flavor. Macaroni salad had just the right amount of mayo.Places like these won’t be around forever. The people that run most of these are getting up there in age, so enjoy it whilst they are around.Parking: Street parking is free with a 2-hour limit. Can get challenging to find a spot as there are other businesses on this short street.“

“Came here for a late lunch and ordered thr katsu bowl ($8.95+tax) and the bbq traditional combo ($15.45+tax) - pretty good value for the price! The katsu was fried quite well for a fast food place - crispy outside, and not too dry inside. The sauce that came with it was tasty as well. The bbq combo had one kalbi rib, 3 pieces of bbq chicken and several large slices of thin beef- everything was seasoned thoroughly. The thin beef was a little dry, but still tasted pretty decent. There was rice and macaroni salad and some lettuce on the side as well. This is a great meatlover’s dish!Parking: Parking lot is rly busy due to the In and Out right across from it… traffic from there can back up to this parking lot“

“I love mom's tofu house. The food is so good. I y regular order is the Spicy Pork Rice Bowl and the Spicy Yang Nyum chicken wings. Serving sizes are large. They raised their prices by a few dollars recently, but it's understandable given the rate of inflation.“

“I saw this place on one of Strictly Dumpling's videos and my boyfriend and I knew we had to check it out on our trip to to SF area last weekend. Absolutely amazing bbq, one of the best I've ever had. The chili was amazing and hearty. The mac and cheese was unique and I've never had it quite like that. When my boyfriend asked, we found out they had just recently tweaked their recipe. I absolutely loved the pickles that came with it. Don't get me started about the chocolate cake.Talking to the guys who were working about basketball was great as well. They were a mighty fun bunch of staff.I will definitely be back the next time I'm in the SF area! Stay awesome!“
