“Came here to try their Pan de Elote and their Chocolate Cake. The Pan de Elote was amazing - specially topped with ice cream! The Chocolate Cake was too dense and sweet for my liking but definitely coming back for their Pan de Elote! They have their own lot so parking was easy for us.“

“Yvonne’s Vegan Kitchen creates the most scrumptious vegan desserts! They just make me happy and clearly, I’m not the only one! I’m not even vegan, but for over 20 years, I have gravitated towards vegan desserts and YVK does not disappoint. I have become so accustomed to the unique texture of her gluten- free goodies and cakes that it’s hard for me to go back! I learned quickly that you’re supposed to thaw out your cakes first before consuming them for the most optimal experience. It’s obvious that your loyal customers love your desserts! You’re one of a kind! I love how you’re also quick to remedy any situation when given the opportunity! Keep shining your light, YVK! Thanks for all you do for the community!“

“This bakery was doing free, Easter cookie decorating kits for the kids. The presentation for the kids was really above and beyond but the real gem was the gentleman behind the counter. He was super nice and interacted with the kids in a really great way. I can’t wait to come back here again.“

“La Grande Orange remains at the top of the "relaxed" food chain. It's not a dress up fancy and go to dinner kind of place, but if you're looking for some good eating, you'll find it here. I eat a lot of chicken sandwiches and this one is right up there with the best! The brussel sprout salad garnered rave reviews too. Delicious I am told by my daughter. She suggested this restaurant just for the brussel sprout salad! The whiskey selection was pretty wide, but sadly my choice of Bookers seemed to finish off a bottle (according to the bartender) and my pour was pretty minimal. Other than that, everything was perfect ... oh, except no cookies . Those salty, chocolate chip cookies are amazing! But no cookies ...“

“A great crepe place in Temple City. They not only have dessert crepes but also have savory crepes with lots of meat and seafood available as well. Ordering is easy and there are an insane variety of toppings and add-ons available. I tried their Tuna, added bacon and other veggies. Glad I ordered it to go because once you start eating it, it gets sloppy good. I will be going back again“

“I’ve been a diehard loyalist to the Arts District Pizzanista, and it’s still so odd to me that they opened one in sleepy San Marino, but no complaints from me! The slices are the same taste and quality as their AD counterpart, and the vibe is as chill as the area that it’s in. It’s a must for a casual lunch if you’re in the area.“

“This was my first time at Mooyah Burgers I have to honestly say that was one of the best Burgers and fries I have ever had. (I live around 40 miles away from Mooyah and happened to be in that neighborhood that Saturday I had to go back on Sunday because it was good) I feel bad because I don't remember the lady that helped me, she was so nice and accommodating. If it helps, I was there on Saturday March 20th around 3pm. She deserves a raise. Thank you so much for the excellent service!“

“NOTHIN' BETTER THAN 2 FIRM MEATY BALLS AND A THICK LONG SAUSAGE!!I'm a HUGE fan of the Old Spaghetti Factory!!! I've never been disappointed, since 1972, at the San Jose location (I was 4 years old)! Atmosphere, food and service have always been consistently great! This place is very nostalgic for me! (Even if it isn't the exact location as the one I visited as a kid(. Nothing but great memories! I was GIDDY when it was decided that we would be eating my "one meal" (I'm trying that stupid one meal a day diet /plan), at Spaghetti Factory!!!Today I enjoyed a large plate of the mouth watering Meat Lovers Treat! (See Photo). My BFF (she's also my Birthday Twin) Jennifer B., had a delicious and hearty plate of Chicken Parmigiana (see photo)! We were both delighted and thrilled with our meals! I'm very pleased that I chose to waste my calories on this meal!!! (Unlike my displeasure of wasting time as a kid, waiting for my father to pick me up for a visitation). For dessert we both chose my favorite ice cream; spumoni. Eating spumoni, gives me as much pleasure as listening to gossip about my previous bad bosses.Natalie was our wonderful server. She was as friendly as a Harikrishna and Jehovahs Witness at an airport! Very attentive and checked in on us frequently. Table runners were also attentive. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!Of course I’ll be back! I’ve been enjoying Spaghetti Factory’s for 50 years!!!! MAMA PAJAMA!!!!“

“Stopped in for the first time this morning. I ordered The Oslo breakfast sandwich on sourdough (rather than the everything bagel ) and I must say that it was amazing! The flavors, the textures. All the ingredients are fresh. There is so much detail in this sandwich. I happened to be in the area for work but I would drive across town for this sandwich! Staff was very friendly.Dietary restrictions: They accommodated my seed allergy by replacing the everything bagel with sourdough bread. Highly recommend ordering it this way!“

“We absolutely love Susie Cakes. Every cupcake and cake that we have gotten there have been so delicious. The chocolate flourless cupcake is probably my favorite, it is like biting into a chocolate pillow.Today we tried the candy cane cake, champagne cupcake and mimosa cupcake. The candy cane cake is chock full of candy cane pieces. The mimosa had a light orange flavor and the champagne cupcake had a very light flavor in the frosting.“

“Lavender breve is delicious. It tastes like real lavender. I had no idea what a breve was - but it’s creamy, flavorful and still gives you a taste of coffee. “We came here twice, for dinner and breakfast—it was fantastic both times! As someone who is gluten-intolerant, it is always a breath of fresh air to see a clear and concise menu with GF marked. We personally tried the teriyaki bowl, breakfast tacos, breakfast potatoes, sweet potato fries, and the pineapple berry drink. I am sure everything is equally as delicious as these items were! Would definitely come again and again ?Dietary restrictions: Amazing gluten free and vegan options!Kid-friendliness: They have a cute kids table available with smaller chairs.“

“Coffee And Plants (est 2019) is cute lil plant-based coffee shop tucked in an alley way of One Colorado Square in Pasadena. It’s founded by Leona Lewis, Dennis Jauch, and friend Achraf Sekhiri. I bet you didn’t know that. HaHa!They have specialty drinks, drip and pour-over coffees, cold brews, special teas and seasonal menu items. Its pulchritudinous indoor and outdoor design is infused with faux plants and flowers; indoor seats were limited and layout lacks space but their front outdoor seats does make up for it.I was perfunctorily greeted by a staff. I perused their menu and ordered a regular cold brew (10oz) x almond milk. I liked the taste and smoothness. I honestly think it’s kinda small for a $6.25 tag price. Condiment section was organized and clean. Staff was competent. Atmosphere was relaxing. Overall, I had a good experience and enjoyed my drink as a first time visitor.“

“This is one of our usual Italian places for takeout since they no longer have dine in. We had a take out order for hot chicken parmesan sandwich, added the extra cheese and veggies like onions, mushrooms and green peppers, (but they forgot to add that in; hence the -1) like they have for their hoagies. And also ordered the side quart salad with extra dressing on the side. This place is always consistent with their flavors and always fresh. This was perfect for two people to share. And we added a can of Dr. Pepper. The staff are very friendly and helpful. If you like condiments, you have to ask for it. I always ask for red pepper flakes, plates, forks, and napkins. They pack it nicely in a box always. The wait time is usually about 15-20 mins depending on the amount of orders they get. Usually, by the time I place the order and drive out, it's ready for me. They have a small parking lot in the back and side street parking on Coolidge Ave off Washington Blvd. Enjoy!!“

“Came here after a long road trip with a big group and had an amazing experience! Great menu selection, and server helped recommend what to order, what dishes, vegetables, meats, noodles etc. Food came out quickly, they gave us a little cart for everything. They frequently came to clear empty dishes and help if we needed to order more. I highly recommend the scallion crispy pancake! The sauces are great, even better when mixed. The soup tasted great and we took some home too :) Highly recommend this place.“
“I recently had the opportunity to visit Nothing Bundt Cakes, a bakery specializing in bundt cakes located in Pasadena. From the moment I walked in, I was struck by the warm and inviting atmosphere of the establishment. The decor is classic and cozy, with an ambiance that is both comforting and inviting. The menu at Nothing Bundt Cakes features a variety of delicious bundt cakes, with a range of flavors and sizes to choose from. On this occasion, I had the pleasure of trying the classic flavor of Red Velvet, which was expertly prepared and displayed a high level of skill in its execution. The cake was moist and flavorful, with a delicate crumb and a rich cream cheese frosting. The staff at Nothing Bundt Cakes were friendly and knowledgeable, offering great recommendations and helping me choose the perfect cake for my occasion. They were also able to accommodate my request for a custom inscription, making the experience of visiting the bakery even more special. In conclusion, I highly recommend Nothing Bundt Cakes to anyone in search of a delicious and indulgent dessert experience. The cakes are top-notch and are sure to exceed expectations. Whether you're in the mood for a sweet treat or need a special cake for a special occasion, this is the place to go.“
“First time and experienced top notch service!!! I love this bread! The rosemary bread is my favorite so far! A great local wholesale bakery in an industrial park behind a shopping center in Santa Fe Springs near Carmenita and Telegraph Road. The community was in love with the wonderful smell in the air that the owner decided to include retail sales.I found out about this bread through The Bee Hive, a wonderful restaurant in Whittier. No more bread from the local supermarket or farmers’market. This is the place to go if you live close by or just want to adventure!“
“I had to get a birthday cake for some friends who were both lactose intolerant and had egg allergies. A friend recommended Valentines. “A lovely cafe with the sweetest staff ever. These ladies are so friendly and attentive! Very cute with a decent amount of indoor and outdoor patio seating. Parking can be a bit hard to find, there are some lots and street spaces nearby. There’s a bathroom outside too, just ask staff for the door code. Decent prices and decent food. “Update: 2024. Been back since my “ missing avocado toast” incident. Almond butter croissant is excellent and told to WAIT for the toast when paying and receiving my bakery items. They have seating for small parties of 1-4……..The service is friendly but they’re all trying to help each other with larger orders and no one verifying completeness but of course they charged full order with $8 avocado toast missing. And yet, I’ll be back because those damn chocolate almond croissants are ridiculously good.“

“This place is an amazing brunch spot. I took my gf out to this restaurant and we both loved it. I had an amazing experience from beginning to end. We arrived at the place around 11:30 am and we quickly found parking. Upon arriving we were nicely greeted by the hostess in a polite manner and with a smile, then we were told that the wait time would be around 10 min, which ended up feeling less than that. We were seated and our waiter, Mike came to our table to take our drink orders. The drinks came fast and the food as well when we ended up ordering our food. Fast service, and very polite workers. The restrooms were very nice and clean. The ambiance was phenomenal, everything was aesthetically pleasing, homey, peaceful, and quiet. I felt like I could have a nice conversation with my gf and it would still be private. Ahhhh, and most importantly, the food did not disappoint. I got Brioche French toast w/ egg and country potatoes and I loved them, it was delicious, the portions were perfect. My gf got a pesto chicken sandwich which she loved. To drink I got a hot chocolate which was delicious and my gf got a hazelnut coffee. The total was 46.48 which I thought was reasonable, not too expensive. Just about the same cost of going to Denny’s. Overall a great experience, and a great spot to get brunch, I highly recommend it, and I give it a 10/10. “The location of this Starbucks is great. The atmosphere and people are what really counts here. If you are a coffee connoisseur, then skip. None of their coffees are good. They are either too bitter or acidic or over roasted. If you like their other engineered drinks with sweetners and flavors, then it's a good place to get a sweet fix. The portions in general keep getting smaller and smaller.“
